Like so many of us the paralytic lived on the edge, the perimeter, close but just outside his miracle. Like many of us he had excuses, "no man to put me into the pool", "another steps down before me". I believe we can all relate to his feelings of defeat and despair. To Dimitri: I believe the Word of God, so I will give you scriptures to prove, that what God said is true. I have studied God's Word for over 50 yrs since I was Saved. After you die, you go into a deeeeeeep sleep coma. Time esentialy stops for you, 100000 years can go by and be like 1 second for you, cause you don't feel anything anyway.. In the Bible, death has always been likened to a sleep like state: 1Ki 2:10 1Ki 11:43 2Ch 14:1 , .... and the list goes on and on and on........... just search for: "slept fathers" You experience nothing: PSA 146:4 ECC 9:5-6 Important examples: DAN 12:2 DAN 12:13 1Th 4:16-17 JOH 6:39-44 No offence, but the belief that once you die you to paradise or you go to hell is taken from non-Biblical religions.. and i'm really sorry to those who hold dear to it. But please just be honest to yourself and to God: Always be Patient.. it took me years to know this.

I believe in GOD and he belives in me so that my path will be to him and not to Satan. HE IS THE PATH WE WILL ALWAYS FOLLOW BECAUSE WE LOVE GOD OUR LEADER. AMEN !!

The Word of God is absolutely true. Jesus, the Son of man gives life. Let us live righteously so that one day we will hear the voice of Christ and be transformed into everlasting life with him. Praise and magnify the Lord!

V.46 Jesus is speaking about the writings of Moses, they did not believe; that he was writing about the Lord.

Jesus showed consideration and compassion for the older man. Many people around him were to busy looking out for their own interests, but Jesus took the time to help the man. We can imitate Jesus by showing consideration for others and doing what we can to help them.

They heard Christs voice. Hebrews 9:27-27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:---- you are making that verse harder than it is suppose to be. It means that after someone dies-you must be judged. Judgement time comes after the perishing of flesh. Although it does not come immediately after death. It comes on judgement day. JESUS always had problems with the scribe and Pharisee JESUS had to teach the people that though he is man his GOD GOD 'S son and he is the word of GOD what our FATHER sent him to do is above the law and when it comes to salvation,deliverance, healing,destroying the bonds of the wicked JESUS didn 't care what day it was. For hr came to do the work of his Father.

If I should die today : I know in whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed to Him. I see it as I see John 1:13 It is of God 's will. Spiritually dead man and woman cannot come to God. They are dead. God does the regenerating and gives the gift of faith to those He will, of His will. What a gift ! Totally undeserved. He loved me and picked me out of the gutter, by HIS GRACE ALONE. I must in turn love others to HIM ! And that is to THE JEW FIRST, as did Paul all the way through to the end of Acts ! The church dropped the ball here !
