Jesus is the truth and light and whoever look onto him finds Forgiveness. It does not mean you don 't sin when Jesus said sin no more. Sin is darkness but if you orient your self to the light meaning to Jesus sin become forgiven. I am impress a Muslim brother red the bible and acknowled Jesus. But dot let the word Muslim cast darkness I 'm you. Jesus came.to safe the human kid he didn 't come to be a Muslim.
John5 28, Jesus has the power to raise the dead of all ages. Therefore healing of infirmities of all kinds is a mere thing to him and no one should marvel at it. The hearing of His voice by those in the grave means life for the dead, especially those that are asleep in Him, which will no doubt manifest at his second coming, the rapture experience.
ASHIK RAHMAN BIN AHAMED KHAN on John 5 - 10 years ago
According to Ghospal of John Chapter 5 verse 30 says " I can mine of own self is to do nothing, as i hear judge and my judgement is just because i can not my will but the will of the father who hath sent me. " If one who seek not my will and will of the father means muslim therefore Jesus Christ peace be upon him was a good practicing muslim
Jesus tells the now healed man go and sin no more Jesus gave the woman caught in the act of adultery the same unless a worse thing come on thee how can that happen not sin any more

Verse 7 i take a valuable lesson from this How many times in our lives have we seen someone that needed help getting in the water lost or back sliders and we just walk right past them With good intentions we focus too much of our time on ourselves and dont look around at a lost and dieing world thats going to hell Lord help me to see others that are in need
james njoku because of adam s sin all men will die once in this world but those that trust in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour will not see the second death lake of fire all that are in the grave will here his voice rise up out of the grave to stand in judgement ether before GOD and the judgement or Christ to receive a reward i hope this helps
How sad it is that the God of Creation came to this earth wrapped in flesh to bring salvation to His people yet they fault him for healing a man on the sabbath when it is suppose to be a day of praise to God How this must have hurt him
When the lord seek one out for blessing..Then the christain should ever rejoice.
In the multitude the lord saw this man
Say:Lord seek me out for blessing among others
These shows that no matter men's problem they will never leave a place they are sure they could get solution. And that was why the man in verse 5 could wait for 39 years,
Verse 1
Jesus returned to Jerusalem at the time of the feast...does that signify anything
these feast was mentioned in levitocus 23:3
in chapter 2:13 we saw them preparin:The feast was the passover-done in the month of Abib deut16:1
He came in his Father's name, because his Father's name is Jesus. God was known by many names/titles in the past. But it is written that Jesus is God's name, and the only name to fulfill what is clearly written! Such as but not limited to, Malachi 1:11, Jesus name fulfills this. Philippians 2:9, Again, Jesus name is known above every name. Isaiah 9:6 tells us Jesus is God, and St. Matthew 28:19 was followed by the Apostles when they baptized in Jesus name only; the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Acts 2:21, the name that saves!
The works that Jesus did bear witness of Him, that through grace we are saved. The works that the Father commanded Jesus to do gave a testimony to the law that through Jesus men will be saved (verse 15)... those works were contrary to the whole system of the traditions of the world. But if we commit ourselves to the law, to do the works of the law, then our conscience will bear witness against us that we will be judged by the law, and it is written, no flesh shall be justified by the law.
The man was not angry at Jesus he simply was answering the questions of the Jews which was probably the Pharisees who went around looking for those who violated the laws. They were learned men but use that knowledge and the power they had as Pharisees for their own gain and to hold that power over the people. This is why Jesus said they would not believe Him. They knew the Bible of that time or Tora but they didn't use it to help the people but rather as a means of controlling them.
Once saved always saved is not debunked here. When we are saved the scripture says we are sealed by the Holy Spirit and we are sealed until the day of redemption. We are saved by the work of Christ and His sacrifice and payment for our sins not by anything "we" do. Salvation is not based on us but on Jesus and His shed blood.
It seems to me that the man was angry at Jesus for some reason. The previous verse, John 5:14, sounds like a rebuke from Jesus. Surely the man knew from his first encounter with the Jewish leaders that they were not looking for his healer in order to worship him.
This verse along with many others debunks 'once saved always saved' ... believeth on me - means to continue believing in Jesus the Christ & can only be known through KJV
Why get involved in vain disputation that bare no fruit of the spirit. If ye be sons of God behave like it and if you are sons of the devil the same advice is true. In the words of a son of God does the father come to life in the words of the sons of hell arguments ensue. Now if I were just a son I would clearly hear my voice in his but I am the father and only my children recognize my voice. With these few words has judgement been made. Adam brought the fall, Abraham brought the promise, Moses brought the law, Jesus brought salvation to all and Elijah ushers in the kingdom of God where the will of the father is done on earth as it is in heaven.
It was,was he ready to receive his healing
In the multitude the lord saw this man
Say:Lord seek me out for blessing among others
Oh lord endow me with the gift of patience that I may stand in your love even in trials
