Arising into heaven upward with my hands stretched out! Calling out His name as I watched and felt the power of the resurrection!
Watching the moon as the clouds opened and I felt the power of the almighty! You will only know one thing as you experience this tremendous feeling. That God cannot lie, He will do as He says! Have faith. When this happens ,it will happen quickly!
No, we enter heaven with a resurrection body that us our earthly body purified, changed to be incorruptible and immortal, freed from the sinful nature, and completely restored to the perfection of Adam and Eve before the fall.
This chapter reminds me that we all needed to be cleansed by the washing of the word and the blood of Jesus to be acceptable in the sight of the Father. We should not want to bring our filthy bodies, soiled clothing, nor stained handiwork to present ourselves before God. The bathing in this chapter reminds me of the cleansing power of the Word, the washing of the clothing reminds me of the white raiment of Christ's righteousness we are clothed with, and the cleansing of any of our handiwork reminds of doing every work unto the glory of God.
The Israelites were instructed how to be cleansed in such a way to stand in the tabernacle before God. The idea of being unclean until evening (which is the beginning of the new day for the Israelites) reminds me that whenever we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from sin, thus starting anew just as the Israelites could start their new day clean before God having completed the requirements of this chapter. Behold, I make all things new! ( Revelation 21:5)
"even so let us walk in the newness of life" ( Romans 6:5) just as Jesus was raised to life from the dead.
The previous chapter was addressing skin contagions and the God-ordained process to deal with these infirmities and what a person is to do to be considered clean and thus able to join the congregation in the tent of meeting.
In this chapter God is addressing bodily issues. These are liquids that flow from private parts. The first part of the chapter speaks of a man having an infectious discharge. The middle part of the chapter speaks of a man emitting seminal fluid either involuntarily or during intercourse with his wife. The last part of the chapter speaks of the bleeding that happens when a woman does not become pregnant and thus sheds the uterine build up of the lining that builds up to receive a newly conceived implanted child. When conception does not happen, then menses follow. Also, it speaks to ta continued bleeding of a woman not related to a normal menses.
It is interesting how specific God is about determining cleanness of someone who will enter the tabernacle to worship Him. The infection is not in itself sinful. Neither seminal flow, nor intercourse, being normal relations between husband and wife by which they are fruitful and multiply as God commanded in Genesis 1. Neither is it sinful for a woman not to become pregnant and thus have her menses. The cycle of fertility is designed by God and good. So, I wonder why they are to offer a sin offering or burnt offering for things that are not in themselves sinful? I understand how they should bathe and wash clothing and for others to avoid touching them for hygienic reasons, but God is speaking more than about hygiene or disease control.
I think that God has these laws concerning normal bodily functions that are not sinful to remind the Israelites and us that we are fallen creatures even when we are not directly sinning. We are sinful through and through due to the fall of Adam and Eve. This is why we do not enter heaven in our this life's body...continued
This is true! Thank you. I also inherited her Christian Parents and siblings to help me on the way too! I was not raised in a Christian home, but God provides!
My wife is 51 years old and well read in non- fiction and some fiction books and knows the Bible a lot better than I do. Only a few momenta ago, I asked her if she had ever heard of Robert Redford, she said, "no."
I think verse one is explaining during the time of Moses and Aaron, God did communicate to His people directly. He could not see them face to face because of His holiness, but they could hear His voice. Even in Genesis, Adam talked to God directly. When Adam and Eve sinned through disobedience, they lost that gift but because God love us so much, He made a way to restore that communication through His son Jesus Christ by sending Him on earth and by dying on the cross.
Although Matthew Henry"s commentary is exactly correct, we all still have a desire to learn and to know about being ceremonially clean or unclean. For these things, after all, are written for our admonition/our learning, and not for nothing. I would advise that you continue, also, to read Matthew"s commentary that you may gain knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. Also, there are others, including Charles Spurgeon, C.S. Lewis, and R.C. Sproul. Since these men are, what I call, the modern apostles of our day, you may as well find yourselves a good book on "Reformed Theology". There is one titled, "What is Reformed Theology"? You can reference many others. Theology matters, following the apost
Leviticus 15:2; 3 & 13 All speaks of an issue of blood even in these verses of a man. Therefore, since, for the woman with an issue of blood, it is not mentioned where her discharge is coming from. Just doing some critical observation in my study, and hanging on to every word. We can not assume the answer. Also, it is mentioned of the woman as passing the flowers of her seed as her menstrual cycle. To me this is two different things; (Issue of blood vs Flower/s of her seed). because it is something that a man has an issue of blood also. I would like to know what is his issue of blood. I will continue to study, in order that I may find the answer.
In Matthew 9 vs 20-21 - The woman with the issue of blood. IN that time she was deemed unclean. By touching Jesus in an act of faith, desperate for healing is it safe to say that by touching Jesus she made Jesus unclean? Not unclean in the sense of physical Uncleaness or spiritual but in the sense that he took het uncleaness. Matthew 8 say he took our informities and bore our sicknesses
In response to William Leviticus 15 statement: Taking no thought for tomorrow. Those thoughts refer to natural thoughts. God is concern about your Spiritual Life. It is your Spiritual Life that we should be putting on everyday. Getting rid of hate, jealousy, strife, envy and clothing ourselves with the fruits of the Spirit: Galatians 5: 22-23 Love, Joy, Peace Longsuffering. It is a difficult task, because God saves every person a different way. But when he gets you to that place where you understand how much he loves you and what he did for you, you will live a different life. God will established himself in your heart and you will not fear what is happening around you.
You've taken this text COMPLETELY out of context. Can't use one verse to make it fit a scenario that it isn't Everything must be in context Not one place in this chapter is taking about marriage. It's talking about unbelievers, Like your wicked govement for instance. Remember back all the while the hebrews were in Egypt? They were on the yoke of Pharoah's bondage and God told His people over and over again to NOT return to the yoke of bondage. Christians have only God as lawgiver, judge and King. We are not part of this world, only passing thru it. Paul tells us quite plainly in the previous letter to the Corinthians that " you are bought with a price,be not ye the servants of men."
"And the LORD spoke unto Moses and to Aaron, saying," The LORD, "I AM THAT I AM" SPOKE TO MOSES AND AARON! Dear Confused; what part don't you understand? God actually spoke to Moses as a man speaks to his friend, openly, without the use of dreams and visions.
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
Hebrews 13:4King James Version (KJV)
4 Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
Im sorry if it was obvious...but it wasn't to me,I ask questions so I can understand, not ASSume,I wasn't for sure on the marriage thing because, when one is with a non believer,it's hard to know if you should marry them, due to them not believing in the ways of GOD and now you are lying with them,in Deuteronomy they were to drive out the ones who did not live by the way of GOD,so Im worried :(......
April: Sin upon sin. Getting married won't stop sin,it's a bad idea. Call on The Lord while He is near. Ask forgiveness. He will wash away your sins: Revelation1:5/He will Baptized with The Holy Ghost and Fire: Matthew 3:11/NEW LIFE 2Corinthians5:17 / A Believer should never marry a nonbeliever never! Time to Fast and Pray for "His"Will . Life here is short! A Moment of SIN= Eternal Fire:1John1:9
April; Yes, it seems obvious enough, even in today's language, that it refers to a woman on her period: and she should be kept apart and quiet. As far as fornicating; who cares if they've been together already for a long time? it is sin; and yes they need to repent of that rebellion and uncleanness! Should they get married? Why wouldn't they? Isn't that the honorable and mature thing to do?
Hello, I am trying to see if I understand, it seems like it's talking of a women on her CYCLE and everything or anything it gets on, as well as lying with a man while on it, and possibly fornicating period?. Now adays do we repent, say because two are not married but have been together a long time?, because it's not through marriage?. The flower part, is that with or without the cycle?.

I hope that I have know what this means: that a man or a woman who has not come together under gods rules and live together is unclean. also he or she doing as one washing an bathing is also unclean.
Yes Audrey. Any time it says turtles it means turtledoves. There are many mistakes in the bible. Get a Companion KJV bible and it will point out all of the mistranslated words and mistakes. God Bless Everyone!
Amazing what the blood of Jesus Christ has accomplished for us, now as long as one is in Christ he or she is a new creature, and has been sanctified nothing that comes out of the body can defile us.

There are a few references to women and "her flowers" is this a reference to her time of menstruation?
Anothers' perspective will be appreciated.
Many thanks
