Hello, yes, it means all homosexuality is a sin, evil, and unnatural and the punishment is death. Fortunately Jesus died to forgive all that all have an opportunity to go to heaven.

In Leviticus chapter 20 verse 13 it says if if a man lies with another man that it is an abomination and I believe that means homosexuals but other people are telling people that it means child molesters. Am I wrong is it not talking about homosexuals please tell me what it means.

You're right. God has not changed in any way. But h sent His son to die, and to shed His blood for our sins. Jesus made the difference. All these things were written for our learning, though we will not literally, be stoned. Yet God's laws he in Leviticus is teaching us how we should live, today even. In your natural innate, God-given mind, you would not have sex with your sister or brother. His laws still stand in such things mentioned. We must discipline ourselves to achieve balance by bringing all our faculties and power under control. The Lord uses a disciplined mind to think clearly and understand His Word and present truth effectively to the world. Why be self-discipline? See 2 Timothy 2:15: Be diligent to approve yourself to God. Let us practice self-discipline. It will be obedience to God. Instead of doing what the people in the world do, we ought to be exposing their evil. Study God's word, ask for wisdom from above.

I totally agree with Stephen Botts. God's word also tells us not to use our freedom as an opportunity to sin, because we are free from sin, in a spiritual sense, so we continue to strive in the leading of His holy spirit. We must grow and mature in Christ Jesus, while He continues to sanctify us which is an ongoing process. God is moving Believers to perfection, and when He returns, He will complete our perfection. We are to contend to the faith and the way of Christ while we are waiting. We a=should be in a state of mind to love His appearing. Blessings.

How in the world could (can) the Most High expect His people to totally keep his decrees, laws and commandments? Aren't there like, at least 600 of them in The Law? I thought that for today, as in the days of Abraham, God imputed to him righteousness. So would that not be the same case when it comes to being holy? And isn't sanctification an action which occurs each and every day in the life of Believers?

May the Lord lead us in what we are to do and say.

Our children are still being sacrifice to moloch today through show biz and entertainment. Parents are prostituting there child for their own financial gain. Sending your child in to a world of drugs,fame and pedophiles. As a parent we a responsibility to God's little ones.

All these commandment are for the benefit of mankind. If we do them and follow as our lord has commanded it shall be well with us. Otherwise what will a man benefit from the practices of homosexual ? Being born again is not a get out of Jail Free card. the thing is believing Jesus Died for our sins is the start, but accepting what he taught an trying to live the way he taught, through his spirit in you.. how can we grow in fruits of the spirit if we continue in the same sin overran over again. faith without works is dead..

God is simply speaking to Moses about unwritten sins that are done, and the punishments that will be given. He is giving Moses some of His Statues, which really should be common sense to a Christian!

I think the lord said what he said and meant what he said and that the evil forces of satan will tempt mankind to sin and commit abominable act to defile gods will and that those who commit abominal sins and those that accept there abominations as normal shall be judged and punished in the end.

GOD gave us ... his commands ... GOD does not change ... man wants to justify his sin ... Yes, God loves the sinner ...but being an abomination ... remains then ... as now ... You can interpret this any way you feel. The only fact of it is that the Old Testament was written by the ancient Israelites thousands of years ago, in a society extremely different from ours. It is easy to take this verse out of context and manipulate it to your liking. Would not you be better off studying the history of the Old Testement and try and analyze what they were ACTUALLY talking about? just a thought.

The Old Testament is a history of tradition, the point of Jesus, and therefore chrIstianity was to bring a new way of worship and dealing with our fellow mankind. Fear based religion with fire and brimstone postulations were replaced with love and positivity, traditons were not to be considered the law. See Mark 7.1-23. Leviticus is moot.

I believe the Bible, its not that Christians don't still love and care for people who do not follow Gods word, Its just most christians are tired of being told were intolorant, and bigot because we dont do the do the political correct thing and accept these people the way they are, All people are sinners and fall short of Gods glory but by believing and accepting christ we are redeemed. Part of that is accepting the Bible as God's word and trying are best to follow and ask for forgivness when we fall short and strength to do the right thing and not commit the sins again. I think part of the problem is also human nature, and people dont like being told they're doing anything wrong or want to bend Gods word to suit there needs and life styles.

The word "mankind" in Lev 20:13 is actually ZAKHAV which means "male" in hebrew.

It should read better:

"...If a man lies with a male, as he lyeth with a woman, both of them have committed abomination."

Also the word "both" is Hebrew word "shanehem" which implies two people, not a group.

Please, read it again and again and if you have problems with English, use a dictionary.

What part is hard to understand ?

This verse can be confusing, but know that it's translation means: Respect and honor your Parents no matter what they do and God will take care of their short comings. True Christians should know the real meaning of God's Words. Those who study.

GOD IS LETTING US KNOW THAT HE LOVE ALL OF US IT IS THE SIN THAT GOD HATE,EVEN THOU THIS IS THE OLD TESTAMENT DOES MEAN THAT THIS RULE DO NOT APPLY TO US TODAY, WE ARE LIVING UNDER GRACE TODAY AND EACH DAY THAT WE WAKE ,GOD MEANS UP GOD IS GIVING EACH OF US A CHANCE TO REPENT AND GET RIGHT WITH HIM WHEN WE OBEY GOD WE CAN LIVE NOT ONLY HERE ON EARTH BUT WE WE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE WITH GOD.
