April (leaven) - The leaven in the O.T. was a type of sin - sin gets in you for one little thing, maybe tobacco and SPREADS to alcohol, drugs, sex, abuse of others, and on 'n on. Egypt was also a type of sin; the Israelites wee taken out of Egypt by God. We cannot, forever, get physical sins out of our lives; only the Lord can. Nor can we remit orig. sin from Adam 'n Eve - only God can. Acts 2:38

Hello, I was curious if anyone could shed some light on me thinking, unleavened bread was a no no, because in a symbolic way, GOD is what raises us up, like baking soda and other rising agent, it helps the bread to rise, therefore, GOD is the rising agent?, so when he brought his children out of Egypt he was their rising agent. I have currently just started reading the bible on my own, been awhile

Lev. 23:17 - " ... two wave loaves ... they shall be baken with leaven." Two wave loaves is the prophecy of the Jews and Gentiles coming together in Acts. The 'leaven' is the SPREADING of the Gospel they undertook.

I have learned so much about how the O.T. and N.T. interconnect. What an eye opener.

To Jack on v. 27- If you're Jewish you won't pay any attn. to this, and that IS NOT a slam: ALL the O.T. was a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ in the N.T. Jesus FULFILLED the sacrificial laws of the O.T. The letting of blood was pointing to Jesus blood for the remission of our N.T. sins. It's not by works OF THE LAW that we are saved; it's by faith in Acts 2:38, and hence Matt. 28:19.

I respectively disagree with Wesley 's notes. The mention of 'your Sabbath ' is by no means the name or title of this Sabbath. This verse indicates the weekly Sabbath of the week which is the seventh day of the week, Saturday which begins from Friday sunset and concludes Saturday Sunset. Prior to roman influence on the calender the days of the week began and ended the same way from sunset to sunset. The mention of 'your Sabbath ' refers to the Sabbath being a sign between humanity and God and the Sabbath was given to all of mankind. The Resurrection and the Sabbath have no connection to each other, this idea is man made and not supported by scripture. What we find is that scripture informs us the baptism is in remembrance of the Resurrection.

I would like to know where to take those things mentioned on Leviticus 23:40, as the text does not state how to use it (as an offer to Jesus placed inside or outside our home?; to take such things somewhere else?; etc.). Please advice

3: Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
(in all your dwellings.) Saturday or Sunday availeth you nothing; it’s when you with your family spend one day in seven in Reverence to God; this is what pleases our Lord. And these verses were recorded and brought though thousands of years so great man of wisdom could not understand how simple God’s truth really is. St. John 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
People who believe in God, so they can’t believe in evolution; this makes them 50% right. People who believed in evolution, so they can’t believe in God; this makes them 50% right. If these people ever get together (and be converted, and I should heal them.) their eyes will be open and their hearts will be filled and together they will be 100% right. 4: These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. (their seasons.) when men should gather in Reverence to God. 44: And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the LORD. That we would live in Reverence to God.

He shall 'wave' the sheaf before the Lord....the priest shall 'wave' it.
Please answer back to me. Thank you.

I have read this vers over a 100 time and I see the word “from” being used, there for I start my count from Sunday at sunset and end my count 50 days later. So that would be at sunset on a Sunday evening. And that will be the beginning of Pentecost. So Pentecost starts on Sunday night and ends on Monday evening at sunset.
I have heard that the word “from” is not to be read as that, I have heard that it should be the word “on” If this is the case then Pentecost would be on Sunday.
I think this is vitally important to get write. Because if it is on a Monday and one thinks it is Sunday then you will miss out on receiving Gods holly spirit.

The word of God is truth and just, read this chapter tells us from generation to generation our God stands still and his love has counting on top the Lamb of God. The God you and I serve is the covenant keeping God.
