As Believers, we know that the LORD JESUS CHRIST is our only answer for the trials and troubles we are going through today in the Middle East and in our nation here in the USA. Let us, as saints, be faithful, diligent, and obedient to HIS Word.
Hebrews 2:
1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
GOD bless our leaders in DC with the mind of CHRIST through HIS salvation. The LORD to shine HIS face on our state and local leaders in CHRIST name. Bless our pastors and true believers to lift up HIS name at all times through our conversation, witness and testimony.

touching things that are unclean, a dead carcass of an animal or human, a man who had an emission of semen or a woman who is having menstrual bleeding, or handling of creepy, crawling things that are unclean (snakes, rats, etc.) hereby they would be unclean until evening and must bathe before re-entering the camp.
doing harm to YHWH by misuse of holy things, whereby he is expected to renumerate to the priest a 20% charge on top of the worth of the loss of dignity to what God has determined to be holy.
Even if the person does not know that they sinned at the time of the sinful act, he is still guilty of sin. And when he becomes aware that what he did was indeed sinful, he is then to make this trespass offering. This was also true of the sins requiring the sin offering in Chapter 4. Even if done unintentionally or in unawareness, sin is still sin and must be atoned for. I think it is merciful of God to be patient until Jesus came to be the atonement for all sins. And gracious of Him to give us a conscience that can be influenced by the Holy Spirit to show us our sin. This was true for the Israelites, too. The Holy Spirit has been working in creation since it was first created. His work is to convict the world of sin and to lead to the Father, those the Father has chosen to be saved by the work of the Son.
I think that it is so appropoe that the Israelites were wandering in the wilderness. It seems that they were learning along the way as they followed the pillar of cloud/fire. They did not have a long history of God's redemptive work in Christ. They knew that the Messiah was promised, but they had so much to unlearn from their life-long stay in Egypt as well as learn these new commandments and ordinances from YHWH on Mt. Sinai and in the tent of meeting where He Himself known.
The main thrust of Leviticus 5 is simply - no matter the sin; there is a remedy for it in the work of the LORD GOD JESUS CHRIST on the cross and HIS shed precious blood on the cross of Calvary.
It isn't enough that we refrain from actively denying JESUS CHRIST our LORD or lying about our relationship with Him. We must also take every opportunity to tell the truth about HIM and communicate the Gospel as we are told in Matthew 28: 18-20 "...making disciples..."
May we remember to pray for our civil, ecclesiastical, and education leaders on all levels "...that we may live a quiet and peaceable life in all goodliness and honesty." 1 Timothy 2: 1-5.
"...that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting." v8
GOD to shine HIS face upon all on this forum. The LORD bless you and keep you and give you peace.
In question about fraternities and sororities. I find that it's not acceptable by Jesus teachings. Also I have questions on freemasons being pastors and Eastern Stars being church leaders.
mishael, I'm glad you think the Holy Spirit can influence a persons will, therefore I ask you, what is a "human free will", free of? Or, maybe you can see the answer this way, "is there a time the human will is not free"?
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
The earth was prepared for the moment when The Bible says, in beginning. God created Time first. God lives outside of time, and He is the Alpha and the Omega. So He can move inside of Time too.
I've always thought that because only earth was made habitable (among all the rest of the solar system),
The Godhead had been preparing earth for the moment God spoke The Word, and the Holy Spirit who is Action, performed the Word.
The challenging thing is that He gave everyone freewill. We could live in Gods perfect will. I think our free will is influenced by the Holy Spirit, (our human free will). and "The I WILL": Lucifer who lost his name and became Satan. Isaiah 14:12
At the end of this period of time, we will be moving to heaven which exists outside of time. We aren't going to age and die.
It's really hard sometimes to read the doubtful comments. I pay close attention when I'm reading the Bible (which is a large part of my time), what is the Godhead showing me about themselves, today? I find them all United in purpose, they conference together; I mark those things that cause hurt and righteous anger. I love many stories in the Bible; love to re-tell them to complete strangers: like Elijahs eyes opened to see legions of war dressed angels in chariots, or beloved Gideon hiding out because he didn't see himself as a leader of armies. God weeded them down to just the guys that keep a lookout even as they lapped water like dogs do. God said: "those are your guys, Gid." Talking donkeys, etc.
Guys & Gals, try reading the Bible to learn the stories. Like: Cain was killed in a fist fight. The guy that killed him outlived the curse.
Who wants to be on earth when it burns up?
Saddle up! Tell someone about Jesus. Tell his story and just invite them to pray with you.
Simple answer is Yes, and I believe these passages confirm that he needed to do this to conquer death for our salvation, and also Jesus talked of his resurrection in the gospels. I pray this helps.
Ephesians 4:10
"He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)"
1 Peter 3:19
"By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;"
1 Peter 3:20
"Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water."
Acts 2:31
"He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption."
Revelation 1:18: "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."
To hold the keys to something indicates one's power & authority over it. As an important person may be given the keys to a city, or one has the keys to the home or car, demonstrates the authority, responsibility & trust that is also goes with it.
Of Jesus Who said that He had the "keys of hell & death", likewise shows that he has the authority to lock away for eternity in hell those who are the enemies of the Almighty, as much as he has also given all those who have come to Him in faith for salvation, victory over the sting of death & the grave ( 1 Corinthians 15:55). As Christ was victor over sin & death, all who have put their trust in Him will also enjoy His Power to live for Him on Earth & be raised in victory over death.
You must consider that men lived much much longer pre flood , so in a short time there could be entire villages or towns like easily. 1 man could father a whole town . Some of these people lived close to a thousand years old perhaps , 500 years old was middle age . Men where designed to live for ever , but sin shortened their life as we know . God eventually shorten mans life to 120 years because of his wickedness . To this day men never reach 120 , yet Moses did .
It is my understanding from Scripture that Adam & Eve & their progeny were the only people on the Earth. To believe that there was another creation of mankind, is not only not found in Scripture, but raises questions about the veracity of the revealed Word about this important matter of Creation & also of the transmission of sin, which is seen to only emanate from Adam & Even, to these other humans.
What you read in Genesis 4:13-15 particularly, doesn't give us a clear timeline to work with. Some could justify Cain's fears about being hunted down & killed because there were other human creations (aside from Adam & Eve) that would do this evil deed. But then, the question: how would those people know about Cain's murder of Abel so soon after the fact, unless his parents wanted to publish it in some manner? I doubt if Cain in his travels would volunteer the information.
I read the passage as something that could take place in the future, after Cain chose to leave the family home & settle in the land of Nod. Cain's cry that he would forever be a fugitive & classed as a vagabond bringing on his demise, may have been a matter that he foresaw in the future, whether real or imagined. Yet God placed 'a mark' upon him (we don't know how that worked), that secured his safety from others.
If you are an Israelite according to the flesh then the blood of Christ is for you! Romans 9:3-5 3 For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: 4 Who are Israelites 5 ...of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came. As Christ stated in Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
We Christians should genuinely and continuously appreciate what Jesus Christ did for us by shedding His blood at Calvary for the remission of our sins. After confessing, asking for forgiveness and cleansing of our sins by the blood of Jesus Christ, and forsaking them through the enablement of the Holy Spirit - we should not be toiling with the sins again because the blood of Jesus is precious.
"..and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him." The Anointed Mediator and Minister of our holy things, is He who is accepted and fit to appear before God on our behalf. The "Making Atonement" meant that the prescribed duties being done by faith, were accepted at the hand of the Mediator for the sins of the worshiper to be covered.
"..if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known..or if a soul touch any unclean thing..or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath.." What does a man do in his body, or in his mind, or what he hears or speaks, that it is not out of his soul doing it?
In the O.T. the only way the Israelite's were able to atone for their sins was through the priest slaying a perfect animal from the sinners flock; and a poor man , it might be a dove or a pigeon. Today, the only way we can be saved is through the blood of Jesus our LORD and SAVIOR in baptism. We have to confess all of our sins to Jesus Christ and live God's way not the worlds way.
Thank God for his son Jesus Christ who came and for our sin. We don't have to make sacrifices for our sin all we have do is to repent of our sin to him and we will be forgiven once we meant it with our heart.
Bless it thee lord for forgiveness in your name forgive us for our sins lord I thank you for watching over us for the blood you shed for which we are able to live today in Jesus name Amen
