I am that Michael Isaac Dale on Luke 12 - 5 years ago
Being thieves and false prophets, ye confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh: but instead say, We shall watch for HIS return. Deceiving and being deceived, ye give and receive filthy lucre with bloody hands and would even deceive Christ himself if not for the loving Spirit of my Holy Father. Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
43-44 Jesus is still speaking before this multitude; HE has not left earth yet (Jesus know HIS duty, see John 3:16) so ‘again’ Jesus put importance on the ‘duty of the servant /steward’ who remain on duty /earth until Jesus return back to earth then verse 44 /blessings..
41-42 Peter want to know specifically who are they Jesus is referring too as it relates those /servants who is waiting for Jesus return; indirectly Jesus answer Peter by introducing Peter to the office of ‘steward’; stewards /servant is given the ‘duty’ for as many Jesus entrust to us, ‘first ourselves individually’ (mother, farther, children, …, …, …,
39-40 Jesus remind us again to 'be prepared' for HIS return; always ‘watching’ for HIS return; 24 hours-a-day we must be ‘watching’ for Jesus return.
37-38 Jesus declares us blessed (those servants who shall be ‘watching’ for their LORD to return) and Jesus /Himself treat the servants to a feast for faithfully watching; 24 /7 we are to be expecting Jesus return, and yes there is blessings.
36 Jesus gave instruction to them /us who chose to be Born-Again; Jesus knew the urgency for HIM to leave earth to attend a ‘great event’ in Heaven then return back to earth; so before leaving Jesus prepares our heart and minds by instructing us to “waitâ€
33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. 33 above both (Jesus
verse 32 above Jesus direct us to the #1 desire of our Heavenly-Farther (our Heavenly Father greatly desire for us to enter into the His Kingdom prepared for those who chose JESUS as their Savior; example: read Revelation chapter 21 and 22 to learn more about GOD’s Kingdom.)
verse 32: at that /this point in time Jesus knowing our #1 need (SALVATION) never-the-less HE knew they /our heart is fearful (worry fear = a disaster war inside ourselves) so HE gave us comfort: “32 Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.
verse 29-31 Jesus knows it is important for us not to worrying as we live, so HE require /direct us to ‘rightly’ follow Jehovah /GOD’s priorities in the numerical order 1,2, 3, without deviating: Example, (verse 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you);
Verse 27-28 Jesus (still teaching us not to worrying) give another example for us to consider: GOD’s creation /the flower never worry for it’s necessities, but the man-made king with it’s glory worry for necessities; Jesus answered our problem “O ye of little faithâ€.
verse 27 Jesus continue to teach us (concerning worrying) using a flower; the flower don't worry, it gladly accept GOD given beauty; it live it's life happy, then die; but kings work hard to create beauty, happiness, never coming close to the beauties created by Jehovah /GOD, then kings /we die worrying over ..., ...,.
verse 26 Jesus continue reminding us not to worry; HE knows we /all are 100% dependent on HIM like the birds, so HE ask us a question: why do we /you continue to worry?
verse 25 Jesus address the ‘sin of worrying’ by asking us a question: 25 And which of you ‘with taking thought’ can add to his stature one cubit?
verse 24, JESUS teaches us (again) to consider /think about How Jehovah /GOD faithfully provides all the 'needs' of birds; then JESUS reminds us how much more important we are to GOD than birds, therefore GOD shall provide our 'needs' also.
verse 13-15 Jesus is requested to resolve a family dispute; (we remember Jesus always keep HIS eyes on redemption /salvation) so Jesus address the man request by making it known to the man JESUS was not the ‘local civil judge’ /the person with authority to handle such civil dispute; plus Jesus seize the moment to identify a deeper evil /sin… JESUS warn us of ‘Covetousness’.
verse 11-12 note the 'order' (1) synagogue /church, (2) magistrates /local civil authorities, (3) powers /government; (the same order they took JESUS).
verse 11-12 JESUS assure us that the Holly Spirit will give us the words to speak when we are brought before the rulers of law /public officials, therefore do not worry about what to say.
