What should be one's attitude when Satan and his forces come upon us? What should be one's prayer? "Lord, send them from me?" If they leave you, to whom will they go? Is it a righteous desire to want evil to leave you so you can have peace, knowing they would go to someone else? Can one pray for evil forces to go to hell? Is that prayer before the time when evil will be eternally confined? What is one to pray? Jesus said, "Get thee behind me, Satan." ( Luke 4:8) A righteous response to where to put Satan.

First, they are smart than humans because of the infinity God has given to them and the length of time the devil observed human activities. Second, they read the word fo God ( the bible) they repute the truthness of the bible by using out of context quotation. If humans does follow God's word by obeying all His commandments, he is more smarter than the devil because God has given him the Spirit of wisdom.

To Jonathan C: who said all demons are smart? If they were smart, they would have never rebelled against God to start with and fallen from heaven.
  • Jonathan C on Luke 4 - 14 years ago
Why would the demons that are driven out acknowledge Jesus as Christ? All this did was strengthen Jesus' position in the public by having a third party herald him as Savior. Wouldn't it have been in their best interest to leave without commentary to leave doubt in the public's mind?

In vs. 6 the devil offers God's own son rulership and power over all the kingdoms of the earth. By whose authority then does the devil offer them? If he is offering them to Jesus, then it must be by God's authority that he offers them. So then, by whose authority are the world's politicians given rulership and power?
