Hi Ana. I agree with Adam's thoughts on this matter. We are indeed blessed to have medical help & advancing technology available to help us deal with problems in body & mind. I don't see this as a total non-reliance on God to grant healing - God does heal & if coupled with proper sincere medical help & trust in the Lord, I feel that's the proper way to go. After all, doesn't the Lord expect that we render whatever help to others & ourselves? And this help can come in various ways which must include, for the Christian, utter dependency on God to "establish the work of our hands upon us" ( Psalm 90:17).
And if a person chooses to refuse medical help or has elected to not be on any life support, then that is their choice and I don't believe that decision in any way violates God's Command concerning murder or any perceived determination by us that life must be preserved at all costs.
We have a few relatives connected with the Ceylon Pentecostal Mission & a couple of them have passed on, refusing any form of medical intervention in spite of great discomfort leading up to their death. This was their belief & of the Church, & of course, admirable. In spite of the tragedy of it all when their lives could have been saved, I couldn't help but admire the faith expressed to the Will of God for their lives & willing to face the consequences as the Lord chose for them.
But the matter of euthanasia, even if death is imminent, is a completely different matter to my belief.
Hello, i dont believe the Word addresses that other than do not kill and our bodies are mot our own. I think active euthanasia is wrong. Passive like turning off a ventlator i think is ok if its Gods will for that person to go. I also see that differently than someone who has gangrene but stubbornly refuses to see a hospital or just watching someone bleed to death and doing nothing.
I have a very important question. What does the Bible say about a dying person not wanting to continue with medical care. Is this considered suicide if you refuse to continue suffering with medical treatments?
Again, God is God. Your prayers may not be the answered in the way you wanted, but in Gods will, they were. God is not a wishing well and we can not see how his works are used for the future. Have faith.
When the Bible says to believe what you prayed and do not doubt it will come true i prayed and believed my kitten would be healed he still died i dont get it?
The Lord can and will use anything for His glory and praise even Christmas and Halloween. During the Christmas season, even the unsaved and others who normally not listen or heed the name of Christ do so. From mid November thur the end of Christmas, Songs of Jesus' birth and the coming King are heard almost everywhere. And how many of us leave our Christmas decorations up - way pass December 25!
Halloween lets the people of God use innovating ways to reach the unchurched. Tracts and candies given to children as they come to the doors. In contrast, the decorations for halloween are down quickly by the next day.
We cannot let the world dictate to us how to fight in God's name, however we must remain faithful and call on Jesus and His word to guide our battle plans on a daily basis.
I've never had anyone turn down a Bible tract with money in it. Let's not haggle over what God likes, loves, or wants. Let's go forward and testify in His name. 2 Timothy 4:2
"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine."
Philippians 1: 15 - 18
15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.
All Power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessings are yours Lord Jesus Christ. Strengthen us always too forgive our oppressors and never allow us to feel superior to any man. Strengthen us O Lord Jesus Christ to serve others and not ourselves to give you The Glory. For Thy Grace is sufficient for all our needs. Amen
technically, he is against it as it was originally a Roman pagan tradition. It was called Saturnalia, which was in celebration to their pagan god Saturn. The same with Halloween and Easter--both pagan traditions. Halloween was a Celtic pagan tradition done to ward off evil spirits (demons) and Easter was celebrated to a fertility goddess. So all of those things existed long before Jesus did
God is not against Christmas. This is the day mankind sit aside to celebate His birth. The day may be a little wrong but this is the day we chose. Its close. What could be wrong in celebrating His birth.
Jesus fasted in the wilderness for 40 days and 40 nights he was led by the Holy Spirit to be tempted by satan the first one was "If you are the son of God command ye stones that they shall turn to bread. "The Jesus said "Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Then satan took him to the top of Jerusalem the said unto ye "Throw your self down that your father shall send his angels too carry you. then Jesus said "Ye shall not test your lord God.
Then Satan took him to the top of a moutain and said "I shall give you all the parts of the world I can give it to anyone that pleases me if you will bow down and worship me.
The Jesus said "Do not temp your lord God. The Jesus said "Get behind me satan.
It is not everywhere the only place that we are not supposed to pray is on a street. So that people will no that you are praying. The bible said like Daniel he did not pray on the street he prayed west ward Jerusalem.
In verse 23: This shows the power of faith and the importance of faith. When we pray we want to have faith in Jehovah God that he wants to, he can, and he will answer our prayers that are in harmony with his will.
We are free to pray wherever we choose to, whether it's in public or not. But our motive behind praying in public should not be for people to see us, or as the Bible says, to be seen of men. If that is our motive for prayer, then we should not pray at that time. Plus, as Mishael says, there are places that's best not to be seen. School is a great example. It didn't use to be that way. In places like that, where society says I can't pray, I pray silently in my mind. I do that a lot. I can pray standing in line at a grocery store without anyone even knowing that I'm praying. They can't stop that.
"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing"; and I will receive you." we are sanctified by His blood we are forgiven. Being one with the Father, forgiving one another for sins. Jesus says believe in God, asking the Father for those things you desire even unto the moving of mountains. Christs authority is all we need in the hour of temptation! Overcoming sin avoiding temporal and eternal separation from the holiness of God. Be ye holy for I am holy. The power and authority that is in Jesus Christ. Christ reminds us our baptism, you are consecrated unto god,you have been bought with a price! Mark 11

Thank you so much!
We can be like Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane asking God to take this cup away, but also say, not my will but His will be done.
We can pray to be accepting of His will no matter the answer and to be enabled to do His will when the answer comes.
GOD's WORD says seek & you shall find, knock & it shall be opened, Matthew 7:7, Luke 11:9, Luke 1:37, Luke 18:27, Mark 10:27,
Ask & you shall receive, say with your mouth believe with your heart & it will happen. Mark 9:23, John 16:23,24, John 14:13,14, John 15:16,
Mark 11:22-26,
That doesn't just apply to believers GOD even gives people over Romans 1:18-32,
Matthew 17:20, Hebrews 11:6,
Mark 14:36,
James 4:3,
James 4,
Please stay within scripture, write it upon your heart. Proverbs 7:1-3, Deuteronomy 11:18, Proverbs 3:3,
Mark 7:9, Mark 7:13, Colossians 2:8,
Hopefully these are helpful & insightful
God bless you and your family in everything you do.

Two thousand years, or so, ago
Jerusalem rejoiced
for all the future hopes they had
at last were being voiced.
-
The King had ridden into town;
a donkey was His ride.
They laid their clothes before Him and
"Hosanna!" they all cried.
-
To make His travel smoother, they
put palms along His way.
To them, these branches symbolized
a victory that day.
-
They hoped that He would free them from
the Romans' rule for good.
It's true, He came to free them, but
they all misunderstood.
-
They had it wrong when He once asked
"Who do you say I am?"
They all were thinking lion when
He came to be a lamb.
-
When He was crucified, then rose,
there was no gleeful throng.
They thought their hopes were ended, and
Thank God that they were wrong.
-
The King for which they paved the way
with branches where He trod
had paved the way for all our souls
to reconcile with God.
-
We just began to have a chance
to enter Heaven's gate.
The King has paved the way for us,
so let us celebrate.

It also could be your prayer was not heard , for many reasons . Maybe he is good for you and you do not see it .
One thing for sure is God honours his word , but do we honour Gods word ?
If you are not fully confident with this person then don't proceed would be my advice .
To find the right person we must ourselves be the right person . Single is much better in my opinion , less trouble.
Sometimes you just need to let justice through the Lord work its course and move on with your life as no one can escape His judgment.
Then Satan took him to the top of a moutain and said "I shall give you all the parts of the world I can give it to anyone that pleases me if you will bow down and worship me.

In Mathews chapter 6, when it speaks of praying in public, that doesn't mean that we should not pray openly, does it?
