After working one needs a rest.God is calling those who have worked hard to cme and rest.like Paul who said I have fought now am awaiting my crown.As believers we are to fight againt all forms of evil so as to please our Lord so that He can invite us to His internal life .

I was praying to God to give me understanding of this verse for long time. One fine morning when I was reading holy spirit taught me this: John the Baptist preached about God's kingdom with command( preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.") and he know whom he is preaching about.He preached about God's kingdom forcefully and he entered in to it forcefully.

Matthew 11;5 To me the Gospel of the Kingdom is about the demonstration of the power of the Holy Ghost in the lives of the people.People want to see what this Gospel is capable of doing or it,s. just religion.Jesus demonstrated this power.

God's promise word allways beautiful and prosperous of His people. and the word of mt11:28 is not only for the belivers but also for every one who lives on the earth, but, the beauty of His word belongs to those who accepted him as a personal saviour so as a christian if we accept the real word into our heart and meditate we are become of witness to non belivers.

God has given me a message on THE GATES. Onegate is wide and one is narrow. As we stand in the gate line waiting to reach our detestation we can be carrying a light load or a heavy load. Like this verse says His burden is light cause when we carry Jesus in our hearts we have joy, peace, love, goodness,kindness,patience, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. when we don't have Jesus in our heart we have heaviness like depression, loneliness,no peace, things things weigh us down because sin is dark and heavy to carry. Thank God for His love for us to take our sin to the cross. Keep our eyes on Jesus then we will reach our final detestation. Amen

TODAY I FELT DOWN AND NOT KNOWING WHAT DECISIONS TO MAKE FOR THE BETTER OR THE WORST BUT READING MATHEW VERSE 2 ALL YE THAT LABOUR AND ARE HEAVY LADEN I WILL GIVE YOU REST, MY DECISION HAS NOT BECOME A MAJOR ISSUE JUST KNOWING THAT GOD IS BY MY SIDE, I REMAIN FAITHFUL IN MY PRAYERS WITH ALL GUARANTEE THAT ALL THE RIGHT DECISIONS WILL BE MADE AT THE RIGHT TIME THANK YOU GOD FOR EVEN REMEMBERING ME GOD HAVE MERCY ON ME AND ALL YOUR CHILDREN AMEN AND AMEN AGAIN

It becomes clear that God has worked in different degrees in different people, so far.
We may be carried away by peoples' good comments about our lives, though we may be wasting God's Grace.
God may be saying to me,Samuel, if this mighty work done in you would have been done in another brother,he will have repented.Woe to you!
Pls Lord have mercy on me.

I use to think that comment means: that from when John started preaching, the kingdom of God on Earth suffers men's violence such as persecution etc. But those that are violent (in saying fervent prayer) just as early Christians prayed when Herod arrested Peter. Would have whatever they prayed for, through their fervent prayer.

His yoke is his commandment "which is love"we should love others regardless their status,as him'JESUS' sat on table even with taxcollectors. we should accept other people as they are as CHRIST himself accepted us while we w're sinners

This is a very interesting verse as it compares todays generation with children who are never satisfied. and it is true people including christians have this tendency of complaining. we complain even on issues we are not suppose to complain about.

THIS VERSE CLEARLY INDICATES AN INITIATION POINT FROM WHICH THE KINGDOM BEGAN TO SUFFER VIOLENCE:

AI: MY BELIEF IS THAT THE VERSE SHOULD NOT BE VIEWED IN THE WIDER CONTEXT OF THE AGE OLD BATTLE OF GOOD AND EVIL BUT RATHER IN THE CONTEXT OF SOMETHING WHICH WAS POSSIBLE FROM THE TIME OF JOHN. THAT IS THE MESSAGE OF JOHN THAT THE POSSIBILITY NOW EXISTED FOR MANKIND TO ACCESS THE KINGDOM OF GOD WITH ALL THE MERITS OF SONSHIP, INHERITANCE THROUGH FORGIVENESS, POWER, AUTHORITY AND RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. THIS WAS A RADICAL REDEFINING OF THE OPERATIONAL MODE OF THE RELATIONSHIP OF LAW AND RITUALS WHICH PREVIOUSLY EXISTED TILL THEN.

FORCEFUL MEN LAY HOLD OF IT:

THIS CLEARLY INDICATES THE NEED OF CONCERTED EFFORT REPRESENTED IN EG. CONSTANCY, DEFERMENT OF LEGITIMATE CARES, DENYING OF SELF ETC. IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH, BUT IT IS TOTALLY POSSIBLE; REMEMBER FORCEFUL MEN ARE TAKING HOLD OF IT. IN A PERSONAL DIMENSION KINGDOM CAN BE VIEWED AS THE RULERSHIP OF GOD IN OUR DIMENSIONS OF LIFE! WE CAN THEREFORE NOW CHALLENGE FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE, LACK, SINCERE FRIENSHIPS, SELF PERFECTION AFTER GOD (AS HEAVENLY FATHER IS PERFECT) ETC. A WORLD OF POSSIBLITIES BY ACCESSING GODLY RESOURCE NOW AVAILABLE WITH THE SPIRIT OF OLD MODELS LIKE JOSHUA AND CALEB

JESUS is GOD in the flesh.I love Him . I thank him everyday .I can't make a day with out him.God bless everyone.

We all come to a point in owe life that we as children of God, come to this point in life where we need rest. We seam to forget in times that we have a God that we are able to come to Him and receive our rest. We as children of God are very blessed to be able to come to Him.

My spirit and body are both weak. I'm facing tremendous trouble right now. I have lost my paths. Help me find my way in this darkness.

Our lives wear us down, but we can take it to Jesus in prayer and he will give us comfort.

On verse 21 , in what form did God appear to you as on Christmas eve 1987? When the scriptures states that no man has seen God at anytime John 1:18.

God appeared to me on Charismas eve 1987 in Port Orford Or.

Matthew 11 is the rejection of the message and rejection of the kingdom.

Verse 12 comments: we must return to the beginning of John's ministry who is the fore runner of Christ and the one chosen to introduce Jesus as the Lamb of God. John is in prison because he has been in opposition of both religious (Pharisees and Sadducees) and political leaders (Herod). Satan is creating violence against Jesus and his followers to stop the kingdom of heaven from being ushered in. The violent are the opposition and the kingdom of heaven and kingdom of God which are both in Jesus Christ have always suffered violence due to Satan and his followers’ opposition and will be until the second advent.

That God is God of forgiveness, and that in sin we were conceived. But by his power and might we are redeemed.

Haven’t understood fully, I’m still praying the holy spirit for understanding...

My children and I went to a fast food restaurant for dinner and being that I am a single parent of four, money has always (in the past-we speak in faith) been an issue. So I (talking to myself in a low voice) said- "man I have so much to pay for. I have electric this check, and rent, and car insurance, and so on..." My oldest daughter heard me and asked- "mommy, everything is so hard for you. Its hard for you to pay bills and get us things we want. You need help." When she said that to me, my inside crumbled because my flesh agreed and for a split second I was depressed about how their fathers left me for dead with four kids to raise. But then I felt the greater side of me- my spirit leap up and say this very verse- "my yoke is easy and my burden is light." I said to my daughter, "Sweetheart, yes-mommy does need help. But Jesus is my Help." The sweet Holy Spirit reminded me that He was with me through that all and has never left me. That is what I think this message means.

This is indeed wonderful, and a free offer of another opportunity to belong to and be partaker of his great everlasting peace and joy. My prayer is that this opportunity may never pass us by in JESUS NAME.

All of Matthew 11 is WONDERFUL. I really know that reading GOD’S WORD IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET PEACE IN MY HEART. FOR JESUS SAID HIS YOKE IS EASY AND HIS BURDEN LIGHT. THANK YOU FATHER GOD FOR YOUR WORD AND YOUR SON JESUS.

If one turns to Christ Jesus for strength and refuge total healing, He is willing to...Jesus is able to remove your load of Sin and give you his load of bearing his name/his love/obedience to the world and there is great joy in that...it starts by one being filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues as an evidence that you are filled with the Holy Spirit...Christ paid the price already.. John 3:1-8, Mark 16:15-19

We need to come unto Jesus, and He alone can give us rest for our restless souls. He only can take our burdens, because His yoke is easy, and His burden is light. Many people are going to doctors trying to find relief from depression, and the relief can only come with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I pray that if anyone is heavy laden, and full of guilt, that they will find cleansing in the blood of Jesus, and a new beginning in Jesus name Amen.
