Alex, you err, "as all men will give birth to Christ", not ALL," Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:21,22,23

This is a detail of err in your teaching, which is heretical in total.

Jesus gave a series of parables & if we take it up from verse 36, when the disciples came to Him to enquire about the sower who sowed good seed & the tares came up with them.

The crop field is the World; the Sower is Jesus; the good seed are the children of the Kingdom; the tares are the followers of Satan; & God's angels sort the good from the bad.

So we see here that Jesus is speaking of those who are or will be in His Kingdom (one the many facets of it). Jesus is seeing His Church, into which the good seed was sown & which brought forth fruit unto Him. Yet, the enemy has also been busy, sowing his tares amongst the good seed. If the Church can easily see them, knowing them by their fruit & behaviour, then Church discipline is in order. Sometimes though, the tares remain hidden & dormant, what we can't see but do not escape the Eyes of God. At the harvest-time, all the Church will experience 'reaping', but God will separate the good seed that was sown from the bad seed sown by the enemy.

And the Church from its earliest days, suffered the intrusion of Satan by those claiming to have God's Word to impart, but gave out teaching foreign to those from Christ & His apostles, & tried to lead innocent believing souls away from Christ. And this wicked work still goes on in the Church today, so the warning given by the Lord. So we are the Kingdom of God on Earth for now as His Spirit indwells His Children - but in the Millenium, Christ will reign from Jerusalem ruling from His Kingdom & we will be there as well, so that His Kingdom will be realized.

13:41 what kingdom is Jesus talking about?
  • Rob - In Reply on Matthew 13 - 4 years ago
These 4 different soil conditions where in response to the Pure word of God , not teachings found elsewhere . So we are talking about reading or hearing the scriptures. That's the safest form of the word . Others can speak as God gives them ability as well , but the scriptures are the best always .

The 1st person that the seed fell on the way side was open to interpretations and it never sunk in and they lost everything. The devil has many answers that seem convincing to a person of little knowledge of truth . He takes full advantage of their ignorance.

    Matthew 13

The parable of the sower is something every truth seek should put a lot of study into .

4 types of ground that the seed or word of God is planted in .

A few things I pondered over the years about this is .

The condition of the heart effects the soil . Proverbs says out of the heart are the issues of life and to watch over our heart . God looks upon are hearts , we believe with the heart , etc

The 4th that was good ground had good soil or a good heart , it's the only one of the 4 that understood.

The other 3 did not understand fully , they varied in understanding to their demise .

Take heed how you hear the word of God .

Everything is still this morning. Darkness all around. I have my coffee l look around. A homeless in front --no shirt not much. My wallet shows 1.00 only. l watch before l go in Chevron. Coffee l want. I give him my dollar. He blessed me when l did. He was a Christian-- He never forgets.. I got him a roll cause all l had was my card. I watch others especially around Starbucks. Well to do....but no heart for helping others. Shame...God is close to coming. What will you say? Watching others am seeing how cold this world has became. Hearts waxing colder and colder. What can l say. The world does not matter to me now. Always looked for others with kindness in their heart. Years past l never saw many stop. Now in our last days only gotten worse. Oh what will Jesus say? He suffered so for our Sins. Why should He suffer more. I sit here in quietness wondering when some Love will show. Maybe this world won't be so slow.

  • Michael - In Reply on Matthew 13:39 - 4 years ago
Federico, My opinion: I feel for you, my friend. This could be mental or spiritual. Are you a Christian? Did you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior of your life? Are you living by grace through the Holy Spirit like Acts 2? Are you truly living as a servant of Jesus Christ as the LORD of your life? That means not holding on to sin especially sin of the past... but asking for forgiveness daily (repentance..."Confess your sins and He is just and faithful (righteous) to forgive you your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness". If so and even if not so, if it is spiritual or mental, I believe that you should go to a Spirit-Filled Christian Minister (Counselor) who can help you in Deliverance. A prayer of Deliverance can set you free...Deliverance has helped many individuals; especially new Christians who came out of the world and who are now living for Jesus Christ. I, myself had gone through a deliverance prayer with a Minister when I first came out of the world. Not spoke about much nowadays; but it could be an answer to your problem.. God loves you and wants to care for you! He gives us Counselors so we can be helped. All of us...

Matthew 13:8 - But other fell into good ground and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. Why this fruit brought forth stated in descending order. To me it is effectiveness gospel in times. At the time of our Lord gospel was widely accepted. Then in tribulations it becomes sixtyfold and at present it is only thirtyfold only. The decrease in faith gradually evolved in church. Today preachers are enthusiastic, yet their fruitfullness is very low.Our Lord even asked in Luke 18:8- Nevertheless when the son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?. We are now sure that our Lord coming very soon. And also remember that "So shall my word goeth forth out of my mouth : it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I send it. Isaiah 55:11.In the present world only thirty percent believes in our Lord Jesus Christ.

As someone who suffers from Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety and for 5 years suffered from Agoraphobia, I want to say that anyone, like Richard who may suffer from these disorders, are NOT what Jesus was referring to in the parable of the 4 seeds.

Someone with anxiety disorder does not lack faith, but is entirely reliant on God even to do small things, that other people find insignificant, ie, answering the phone. Life becomes a cross to carry, that is unique, but is entirely centered on God, and is a sacrifice that is able to be offered to God.

Richard you did not choose your anxiety, but God will help you through it.

The anxiety Jesus was referring to, was anxiety about worldly things, ie what will I wear, eat, drink, how much money can I make, I need friends in high places, etc. These are necessities, and God promises to provide these things, so we do not need to worry about it.

Anxiety disorders are mental illnesses that can be totally unrelated to things of this world. And just because someone is not healed or cured, doesnt show a lack of faith. Otherwise would be say all Christian's who died from cancer lacked faith? Or what about those with type 1 diabetes, should we tell them to stop taking insulin, and if they dont then they lack faith?

    2 Corinthians 12:8-10

"Three times I appealed to the Lord about this, that it would leave me, but he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness." So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities for the sake of Christ; for whenever I am weak, then I am strong."

This parable of th sower and his seed is about a heavenly seed that is gonna form Christ in us,ya gotta realize that th sower is the bridegroom, he is gonna sow a Godly seed in US a kingdom seed, he said that good seed is the WORD of the kingdom,He wants to multiply himself in humanity. The child is the H.G. as that which is Born of the spirit is SPIRIT.Whosoever receives one such child in my name receives me thats y he refers to the H.G.. as the Promise, simply b/c the H.G is the multiplication of Christ in US via his seed th WORD.And the H.G IS GOD in us Immanuel God with US.When Isaiah saw the kingdom coming he says unto US A CHILD IS BORN.Jesus says unless ya receive the Kingdom as a lil child impling a birth of Christ in US,Thus the Babes and suckling are Spirits the H.G PLURAL that will result from his seed the WORD,BEING BORNAGAIN OF AN INCORRUPTIBLE SEED EVEN BY THE words OF God.Thats y he always refers to himself as tHE SON OF MAN,Mankind needs to birth Christ in his life.gbu

The babes and sucklings Jesus said was coming is his offspring which are spirits. When he was on the cross he was calling for Elijah that has to come and turn the hearts of the fathers
to the childred in that terrible last day that Malachi speaks of.These things are hid from the wise and prudent but revealed unto BABES N SUCKLINGS That is gonna result from his seed sown in our hearts.Isaiah said he wd see his seed ( th h.g ) and be satisfied, he said that which is born of the spirit is spirit thats the h.g th child of Promise that new creature that has to be born in us via his seed th word.Ya gotta realize that the sower of the godly seed is Christ th bridegroom th good ground is Humanity.

Jesus said know ya not this parable, how then will ye know all parables the parable of the sower is about a heavenly seed th WORD, HEARING IS UNDERSTANDING, CONCEPTION, THATS WHEN GESTATION BEGINS IN OUR HEARTS AND MINDS, The Child is the H.G. our KING A KINGDOM that is gonna be FORMED in us thats y he said we had to receive the kingdom as a lil Child impling a heavenly birth etc of an incorruptible seed even by the word of God.This is gonna cover the whole world, ya remember he said the field was the world where that good seed will be sown humanity God so loved th world.Thats y Jeremiah saw ALL MEN N TRAVAIL n BIRTH PAINS. Thou shall suck dry the breasts of the Gentiles even th Gentiles.gb

When ya read Mat 13 Kjv remember you are reading about a secret PASSAGE ABOUT A HEAVENLY BIRTH,Jesus said that many righteous n holy men desired to look into,Being bornagain of an incorruptible seed even by the Word of God etc as Peter says i.e. he wants to know us thats when the Good SEED is sown in our hearts th Child is a king that is gonna be born in mankind,Thats y he calls himself the son of MAN,TH LAW cd not make man righteous th LAW WAS SCREEMING man needs to BE bornagain of an incorruptible seed etc.But this parable is also about the 2 nd coming.Unless ye receive the kingdom as a lil CHILD you will in no wise enter in.The FIELD IS THE WORLD TH PROPHETS SAW TH WORLD IN TRAVAIL GBU.

A sower is one who sows seed, if you read many of our Lord's parables he uses agricultural terms to describe spiritual truths. Strong's Concordance; G4687; "to scatter, i.e. sow (literally or figuratively):--sow(- er), receive seed." The term sower can be thought of as a farmer or worker in a field that throws out seed. Later Christ explains who the sower is, "37. He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;" The Son of man being Christ himself.
  • Fred Scanlan on Matthew 13 - 4 years ago
The holy spirit operates in the truth. If we deny that Jesus and his Father with the Holy Ghost are not divine, we deny the very essence of who God is.His divinity, is DIVINE. Holy men spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.Paul is clear when he says,If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. I say again let him be accursed! Jesus is not Gods one and only Son. He is His only Begotten Son. Rev. 22;19. You cannot serve God and man. Preaching and teaching the wisdom and knowledge of God come from Him. Its nice to here a good sermon , when the blood of Jesus is spoken more than once. Our Father sent HIS SON (HIMSELF) for our redemption!
  • Fred scanlan on Matthew 13 - 4 years ago
God is clearly defined in scripture. The church as in the past misses the very foundation of truth ,and then tries to preach accordingly.Who's foundation is nothing more than sinking sand. Christ spoke of the relationship that existed between Him and His Father , That His will was not his, but His Fathers. If you deny that Christ was in the Father ,than you deny the trinity. You deny the divinity of God the Father ,Lord of Hosts.A church that subscribes that Jesus was Gods "one and only son" is apostasy and therefore teaching a faith based on works. Paul says let them be accursed. If Christ, were not in the father than your faith is vain. The holy spirit is no longer a holy spirit, just words

  • Alex on Matthew 13 - 4 years ago
This mat.13 is the no. 1 passage in the bible that Jesus is truly God the son, simply b/c he can reproduce God with his seed th word to whom the word came it made them Gods.It was God Almighty that made this law that everything in heaven and earth had to multiply after its Kind no exceptions and Jesus told the Jews that the scripture cannot be broken TO WHOM THE WORD CAME IT MADE THEM GODS Thus we see that christ can reproduce God with his seed th WORD. when he breathed on them they received th h.g. which is God his word was his breath his seed.He said b/c i have spoken these words sorrows have filled your hearts impling a spritual pregnancy.when a woman is in travail she has sorrows a child.
