I have learned from Chapter 25 that if we be faithful over what God has already given us he will bless us with more.

It is not what I think. It is what the Holy Spirit reveals. There will be a cry (and is now in process), Church wake up. The 10 Virgins are the Church; (the saved) the 5 wise (Jesus is Savior & Lord), the 5 headless (Jesus is savior). The 5 wise have other vessels (souls won by the anointing only) full of oil (The anointing). The 5 foolish used the oil up on self (ran out). The trump sounds; 5 enter into Heaven (Kingdom) and 5 go through the great tribulation and must look for Jesus with Israel, the nation.

I think we must all way have oil so that our ligth can shine and we must be ready when God is coming back. God bless

Matthew is my favorite chapter in the bible what I get out of the chapter is that when our call for us we must ready and prepare for he will on time and so should u because u will not ever know when he will call for u

matthew 25 is lovly i try to do these things that why i help all i can i dont do because of the reward i do it because god say do but the reward is so amazing for example i have given my bill money to help someone in need didnt know how i was gone pay it but god step in i end up with more than i gave i said that to say this our reward is everlasting life so why we here we should live for jesus

verse 15 tells us that GOD knows our abilities so, we have no excuses for not doing what HE ask us to do. verse 30 shows what happens to unbelivers. verse 32--I want to be HIS sheep not a goat. verse 40 shows us that we can not be "an island to ourselves" When your meetings are over in the church house your 'serve' has just began.

If I am not prepared and have the Holy Spirit[oil in my lamp plus extra]I can not be ready to meet the bridegroom[Jesus].We all get tired but keep the oil fresh in our lives. I for one do not want to miss Him!

The ten virgins are us today, we are to go out and get others to come to God but we don't, We sat in the churches among ourselfves, while our brothers and sisters are still out there lost. What do we think Jesus is going to say to us. I no you not.

obedience is the key

My Opinion is that you have to obey and take heed to what the Lord is saying and you cannot ignore his command. I will obey I will take heed I will not leave my oil an be left behind I will be in that number and meet my bridegroom.

God doesn't say we won't be saved but we will be saved as by fire I believe if we will just be a light God will provide the means and the One He has put in our path late one night is a great movie to explain this Christian films com

I appreciate the coments of the others posted. Very much so. I see the LOrd's command tohelpthe needy as a broad appeal to see the need in any person and without judgement. Peopple are prisioners of a world of their own creation. And it is as harsh or more so than punitive institution. Feed the hungry? Our Lord always remarks about He being the living water and bread of life. I am not against helping the least of our society. Who might they be? When often time those whose lives are poor have the intelligence to seek the Lord. Ithink we should be more open to the needs of others as this is what the Lord commands. This passage is almost another illustration of the Good Sameritan, but a stronger command. If we don't look at the spiritual needs of others to motivatae us to approproiate action; we are being like lost in the law instead of lead by the Holy Spirit.

The 10 virgins are as 10 saved people in the church today. The people of today are being told that being saved is all it takes to make it to heaven. Life after salvation is not sitting down and waiting for Christ to come. We as christians today must work for God to help complete the work that Christ came to do. Gods has told us in the Bible what to do. 5 went when the bridegroom came 5 were left behind as a lot of "christians" of today will be. Lazy people do not go to heaven only those who keep his commandments and worked for Him

There are two things most important to me: the first that I be found faithful in the things of God and that my name be written in the lambs book of life AND that my life is more beneficial to the least of these and those that God has placed in my life. Matthew 25 is a check in our Spirit man that just as Jesus, our very own lives shall be sacrificed for someone else's. I accept the call!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ver.34-36 How many of us are guilty of not supplying aid or direction to the down and outers? We say most of them could work if they wanted to That is true but amongst them are those that are perishing There are people sleeping on grates in makshift cardboard huts in almost every city in America and Canada We need to seek them out and rescue them from the torment Anyone who will listen to the word and even the ones who won't we need to tell them God sent us we Can helTHATS OUR JOB
