Gina; angels are spirits, and not flesh! Therefore they have no capacity for copulating with humans. Satanism fosters all such kinds of filthy fantasies, and seeks every means to seduce people away from the Truth. Jesus Christ has come in the flesh to give His life a ransom for many; to die for our sins, and save us from sin! Genesis 6 is about APOSTASY and the consequent ruin of the world by it!

The men were leaders, they were strong, tired of the desert, wanting to possess their land. They were facing real giants, like David. The land devours itself means the giants eat everything. They are Nephilim, decendants of fallen angels and women.
Joshua and Caleb were strong believers that were counting on the power of Jahweh to give them victory because they were acting on His word.

BSP; How right you are! The Lord had Moses send certain chosen men to go search out the land; like the Lord has chosen certain men today, to search out the Promised Land in Christ, and bring word back to His people, to show them how they shall go in to take possession. And many do the same today, by bringing an evil report through unbelief, and cause the whole congregation to fear and lose heart!

Verses 30 through 33 show that the negative views of others can have a negative affect on us. Our associates and the way they think will have a big impact on our feelings and views.

God knew there were giants in the land of Canaan He asked the Israelites to possess. He wanted to show them again that by His Mighty Hand, He will conquer the giants for them. Today, Jesus is conquering giants in our lives. What a Mighty God we serve!

The story recorded in the books of numbers chapter 13 is very educative for us christians of today. It is very obvious that that the land belongs to them thus they were the original owners of the land, but because they have compromised their faith in the lord before their enemies by suggesting that, they were just like grasshoppers, they equally died just like ordinary grasshoppers. Nevertheless, Joshua and caleb displayed their faith in the lord, even in that hopeless time, and that gave them the oppotunity to possess the land in expense of the whole multitude. It is my prayer
that the lord would strenghten our faith in order to persevere even in difficult times as the two did. Remember to speak the language of the minority-Joshua and Caleb but not that of the majority- the multitude.....

it amazes me how the children of Isreal still had unwavering faith. They were directly under the authority of the LORD he even told them he would defeat their enemies. let's see what happens next.
