    Chapter in Proverbs each day, the Word will teach you "The Way". God provided, just for all who will read and obey His Word.

    Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all things shall be added unto you.

    Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matthew 6:33-34. But look at verse 25-32 and you will see What God means, but if you do not read his Word, and fellowship with God, an accept his provision, and gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. John 3:16 He so loved the World He gave His only begotten Son, whomever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have

    "Everlasting Life". Thankful Servant of God the Father, and my Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ.

    Proverbs 11:22

    This verse is describing the lack of inner beauty which is a virtuous and discreet character in a woman.

    Appearances verses: Deut. 22:5;

    1 Timothy 2:9 and Proverbs 31:22.

    Our inner beauty is important to God. I suggest reading Beautiful in God's Eyes by Elizabeth George.

    In Job 9:9, Job is referencing three celestial objects and alluding to the Power of GOD!

    The three objects mentioned are all positioned and viewable in the Northern Hemisphere! Here, Job is saying, GOD is so Powerful he could move them to the Southern Hemisphere if he so wished, so how could Man(Job) possibly contend with God or his Power?

    Job is so frustrated with trying to find out why he has been singled out for all his 'curses'(which were invoked by Satan), he is overwhelmed with the thought of contending with GODs Power to try to help himself! In essence he is answering back to Bilbads comments in the previous Chapter.

    He who would succeed in winning souls needs to be wise. It needs wisdom to succeed in the business of life. It needs a far higher and nobler wisdom to win Souls. It is an exceedingly difficult thing to win men over from the ranks of sin and Satan to the ranks of God and His Christ.The would-be soul-winner needs to be theoretically wise. He needs to be well informed. He cannot know too much and must be well informed on some very important matters, e.g., the sacred Scriptures, human nature, etc.He needs to be practically wise--wise in action as well as in thought. He should deal largely in the most attractive and pathetic truths. He should carefully choose the most appropriate seasons. He should cultivate the most loving spirit and the most kindly manner. He should be much in communion with God.

    Just in case you're unsure of this word in the KJV, I'll start with the definition of "withholdeth". It is the old English for the modern word 'withhold'. It's main meaning is to hold back (something from someone who wants it); in other words, to keep or hold something to oneself and to refuse to give or grant it to others. In some contexts, it can instead mean to restrain or control oneself from an action or expression

    The morality, and ethics (a recommended list of right behaviours to follow; a good 'code of conduct'; standards for good procedure or actions to do when in particular situations), of withholding anything depends on what it is, who holds or controls it, who lacks it, the situation, and whether harm, loss, death, psychological suffering, or physical sickness to anyone might result from not giving a person access to it. So, sometimes it is not wrong &selfish to withhold something just because someone else demands it or feels entitled to it

    Proverbs 11:26 gives an example of when it is definitely bad to withhold something of value to others who lack it. It is also a true principle because it accurately describes real situations that do happen

    Example: Joseph caused corn and grain or other preservable crops to be collected & stored as a resource for a future expected famine ( Genesis 41:46-49). Some bible translators were wrong to use the word "hoard" in Prov 11:26 because it means to overstock, and Joseph certainly did collect much more than needed. He could do that without depriving anyone of food at that time because Egypt's land & farmers produced an oversupply. When the famine came the corn was sold, likely at a reasonable price, and distributed fairly. So he was blessed with popularity, respect, obedience, honor & memorial ( Genesis 41:54-57 + 45:16 + 50:26; Exodus 1:8) because he did not withhold corn from people at risk of starvation. In contrast, Joseph Stalin starved Ukrainians in the 1932&'33 Holodomor, a first ever man-made famine

    Your nephew is right that there's nothing in the Bible about marrying outside your race. However, the OT does count. He's wrong about that. How many times does Jesus say, "It is written . . ." or "It has been said . . ."? Ok. Just where was it written? In the Old Testament, of course! If Jesus thinks it counts, trust me, it counts.

    Now, on the racial question, Miriam objected to the race of Moses' wife, and God made her (Miriam) white as snow -- with leprosy! The children of Israel were instructed not to take wives from or give wives to the heathen people around them, but there was no racial specification given whereby they were to determine who was heathen and who was not. Nor was there a "heathen patent" issued to any particular race. You were free to be a heathen, regardless of your race, as long as you weren't one of the children of Israel.

    The children of Israel were also commanded by Moses not to make intertribal marriages within the tribes of Israel, so that their inheritances would not move from tribe to tribe. There was nothing racist about that.

    I'm almost done with my eighth study of the Bible, and, to my knowledge, there's nothing about staying within your RACE in it.

    God doesn't say anything about interracial marriage. Many have occurred in the Bible ie Moses and Abraham.

    He does caution a Christian marrying an unbeliever. The unbeliever might forbid the Christian from going to church or reading the Bible.

    You can google 'interracial Marriage Bible' and see what you see. I did.

    Interculturaly it's difficult. Arguments ensue over religion, culture, baptism of children; things like that.

    That's why a couple should DATE for at least a YEAR. Most people can't maintain being on their best behavior for that long.

    My nephew is trying to say that it is no where in the Bible about dating outside your race. Our family is not racist nor are we against the African Americans. We are trying to get him to understand that it is in the Bible and he argues that the Old Testament doesn't count. Can you please help me with this?

    I could not afford one so I stayed single . No regrets single is much better than a deadlock if you get into a unholy marriage . You only get 1 until she dies so make sure you make a wise choice .

    Two is better than one if it's Good .

    "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies." ( Prov 31:10)

    "Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised." ( Prov 31:30)

    The Lord's view of a woman's beauty and it ought to be ours as well.

    Kathy F. The Most High calls us a treasure. You are a treasure and a precious gem to HIM. When you've received a gift is it on display or is it neatly wrapped with a beautiful ribbon. How do you dress if you were going to have dinner with the president? How would you dress if you were going to have dinner with some one you respected and looked up to. You would dress with respect for yourself respect for the person whom you're having dinner with. Let the holy spirit teach you how to dress. I've never seen a princess running around half naked. You don't have to dress like every one else modesty is beautiful!!!!

    As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.

    In other words one can still look to be desirable and yet repulsive/unattractive at the same time.

    - A jewel of gold is desirable but it is in a pigs snout, yack!

    - A fair woman is desirable, but lacks discretion, yack!

    1 Timothy 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array

    Matthew 5:27-28

    Says that if a man looks on a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery with her already in his heart;

    How we dress matters to the Lord. At home with your husband, that is private between you both.

    I def feel like in 2019 and within the last 20-30 years ppl have centered themselves around the knowledge of gaining more wealth and trusting in its substances than getting on the altar and getting filled with the Holyghost so we can trust God with our lives..bcuz proverbs 11:28 reminds me that on Christ the solid rock we stand, all other ground is sinking sand. So everyone trust in the rock JESUS
