Verse 4; all the wealth in the world cannot help when Gods judgement comes. But righteousness delivers us from death. God gives live to the ones who live a holy life. Hebrews 12 says without holiness no person shall see God. In the Old Testament days the Holy Ghost did not live inside people. That came-at Pentacost. Folks would just live right or not by the law and sacrificial system.Jesus fixed.

A thought in respect to Proverbs 11:30: He that winneth souls is wise.

Satan is selfish and an adversary, and although his time is short, he tries to get as many souls to follow him and end in the lake of fire.

We bible-believers, in contrast, ought to be UN-selfish, as ministers of reconciliation, knowing our time is short, ought to get as many souls to follow Jesus Christ. Opposite of Satan.

Verse 20: Our actions can have a great impact on how God views us and we have the opportunity to bring pleasure to God.

Verse 25: Some may hold back from giving because they feel that they will not have enough for themselves. This verse is a promise from God that the generous person will prosper.

Thank God for His Wisdom in this proverb, It is a 'Lamp' and 'Guide' for the human race. WOW!

Very hard to answer,"never give up, you wouldn't stop keeping his commandments. Did Jesus give up or did he stick it out to the very end!
There is so much opposition out there or most the people closest to you!

Proverbs11 purely tells Christians to bear fruit,we should win souls for Christ Jesus,Amen.

If the wicked fail repent and held the belief that when they die, they will be seated in the bosom of Jesus Christ, they need to think twice. For the wages of sin is DEATH.....

It 's not just chapter 11, I would like to comment on. Many years ago a pastor pointed out how Proverbs has 31 chapters. He said it is a daily devotional in the middle of our Bible. It 's the book of wisdom and instruction. I 've been reading through Proverbs as part of my daily devotions for over 30 years now. It has been a blessing and voice of instruction and still is. I praise God for His Word and the pastor that showed me the treasures to be had by reading through Proverbs every month.

PROVERBS 11:28 COMMENTS 1 28 2015 5:46 PM If we trust our faith in riches of this world then we can easily be deceive. As what written in BOOK OF: MATTHEW 6:24 1 TIMOTHY 6:17. But instead we must trust into the "WORD OF GOD " through our Lord Jesus Christ. A-men.

If we confess our sins, the Lord is more than willing to forgive us our sins!! that 's why Jesus died on the cross for us sinners, For our past sins, present sins and the sins to come! That doesn 't mean that we can continue to sin, cause we 're forgiving anyway... NO................ Numbers 14:18 1John 1:9 Romans 11:27

I think this is saying that if you cheat, God isn 't very forgiving. But if you are honest you will be in his good grace.
