I'm cracking up laughing at how TRUE this statement is, yet simultaneously crying because of how true it is in *my* life now.
I'm wondering if I can handle being married to this woman for the rest of my life, and the bible is telling me that ANY life, even one where I shun ALL shelter, food, society, and modern conveniences while having to scratch and hunt for basic sustenance would be better for me, and I'd be happier.
i have come to know now the reason i fail in some things that i do,simply because of ignorance. proverb 21;16 make me understood that, THE THAT WANDERETH OUT UNUNDERSTADING SHALL IN THE CONGREGATION OF THE DEAD. i have been attending church for all this while without understanding what i a doing, what i know is to go church every sunday, and it became a ritual to me. i thought going to church alone is worshiping GOD which i wrong but living by every single word of the Lord.you cant worship God without knowig HIM, SO KNOW ABOUT HIM THROUGH THE BIBLE.THANKS
The Word of God is indeed true. As said in Proverbs 21:19 'It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman", this is happening in my life. For all you know, I am like this, but when I heard and understood what is meant by this passage, I realized how I affected the people around me, most especially my husband because he has learned my ways and I felt sad because of what I did. My husband is a peaceful and quiet man, until he learned to be like me, a quarrelsome, debating guy, who keeps to discussing issues with me. I realized, its because of what I did. I told GOD in my solitude how regretful I was of my sin and promised not to be contentious and vexing wife.
How can you live with a spouse that’s always hateful every time. You try to talk nicely, I’m trying to be a light leading by example talk about God. God it seems like we have nothing in common.
King Solomon was guided by the Lord in the beginning of his kingdom, but as the time went his heart became wicked. This is true for all people that our hearts change with time, let’s pray so that our hearts may remain faithful to God and to Jesus our Lord. Watch and pray!
It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with an angry, and contentious woman. The question is what makes a woman angry, and contentious? Solomon knew a lot about women, because he had many wives. Jesus commanded husbands to love their wives, as their own bodies. No one will harm his own body, but instead will care for it, as well as provide what it needs. A woman responds positively to love, and will not be contentious or angry with her husband when she can see that he loves her sincerely. So love your wife as Christ loves the Church, and gave His body for it.
NOW IS THE TIME TO GROW STEADFAST TO JESUS ,like never before.Do you feel it?WE are the chosen generation,a little peculiar, and a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD....maybe "very peculiar"'.MOSTLY BLESSED"
I LIKE THE FACT THAT GOD IS IN CONTROL OF EVERYTHING AND EVERY BODY CAUSE THIER IN HIS HAND (PROV21:1). GOD IS GOD. NOW WHO WOULDN'T WANT TOO SERVE A GOD LIKE THAT?
YESTERDAY,JULY 20th 2012,many died unexpectantly!I will pray that JESUS will comfort those involved, and save those CONVICTED about salvation in JESUS .i know people who ache ,hoping a loved one made the right choice(if they made one).JESUS came here so that none would eternally exist in hell....please dont sit on the fence.GET on "THE WINNING SIDE" IN JESUS NAME ...
In ch21 4 verses speak of what God does & 1 is a strong inference of His work. vs.1 He directs kings, governments, nations,as He charts the paths for a river to flow. vs.2 He searches our hearts as in Ps.139 -Lord thou hast searched me. vs. 12 He overthows wickedness and vs.29 He gives direction to the upright. Vs.1 & 12 speaks of God's dealings multitudes as a nation ruled by a king or hosts of the wicked in their wickedness, but vs.2 & vs.29 is tender and personal, in searching our hearts and giving personal direction.
But the intriquing scripture of "strong inference" is vs.22 A wise man scaleth the walls of the city of the mighty and casteh down the strength of the confidence thereof. This can only speak of Jesus! Only He could do this work alone. He did this in Jerusalem! He cast out the money changers, flipped over their tables, beat them out with a whip! Shocked the entire city and later that week destroyed all the strength of the confidence satan and all of his followers, the religious leaders & Roman authority! Jesus destroyed the power of satan on the cross at calvary. And they also lost all confidence of their strength, for now devils tremble at the mention of His name. Praise God!
PROVERBS CHAPTER 21:THE LORD WILL TAKE CARE OF THE KING AND HE WILL TURN IT WHICHEVER WAY HE WANTS TO. TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT IS ALRIGHT WITH GOD RATHER THAN SACRIFICE. THE RIGHTEOUS IS HAPPY TO GIVE AN OPINION BUT DESTROYING OF THINGS SHOULD BE LEFT TO THE WICKED. THERE IS NO KNOWLDGE NOR COMPREHENSION NOR ADVICE IS AGAINST THE LORD (NOTHING).

I hope you learned something with my story.
