So many will say when ask that Jesus was born of Mary in Bethlehem. This chapter tells me that He was always with the Lord. If you read it with an open mind and an open heart you will see that He was always with the LORD. Proverbs 8 tells us he was with The Father during the laying of the foundations of this world.

this chapter is about God's 10 commandments, God and finding my Lord Jesus Christ. Wisdom in the high places, door ways, posts and gates; this is how the 10 commandments of God were to be displayed. Who ever findeth me findeth life... this is Jesus, and finds favor with the LORD...this is God the Father. LORD=God, Lord=Jesus.

Verse 13: Arrogantly exalting oneself is something that Jehovah God hates.

I LOVE PROV. 8:17, IT HAS GREAT MEANING TO ME. IF I START MY DAY OUT RIGHT WITH HIM ON MY MIND .AND THATTHEN MY PATH WILL BE DIRECTED BY HIM

"O ye simple, UNDERSTAND wisdom: and, ye fools, BE YE of an understanding heart." (v 5) "How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? TURN YOU AT MY REPROOF: BEHOLD, I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT UNTO YOU, I WILL MAKE KNOWN MY WORDS UNTO YOU." (1:22-23) The LORD gives wisdom and knowledge to them that obey, and them that ask!

"Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? She stands in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths." By wisdom God created the heavens and the earth and everything in them. God then made man "in His image and likeness." But how can we attain to His knowledge? It must start with a good conscience, like a little child; and increase in stature by proof and grace.

To S. Morrow - I'm just curious; how do you know you are "called by His name?" I know this is a 'quote' you used, but I am assuming you are stating the fact in your own life that you are called by His name, personally. What did you do to let you know this?

wisdom has everything which men are craving to get in this world, just imagine riches, honour,understanding,righteousness ect.

Wisdom Proverbs 9:10 apply God's word to your life listen to the Holy Ghost.

Verse 31 speaks about the delight that Jesus takes in us humans. How loving that God's Word lets us know the dept of Jesus' affection for us.

The commentary is helpful, but God and Christ in the "he's, his etc., should be capitalized, as He is ALWAYS a proper noun.

It has help me to follow god and do not sin against god... Always do right things through god hlep others.

Blessed be the name of The Lord for these words: 'Those who offend Christ deceive themselves sin is a wrong to the soul. Sinners die because they will die, which justifies God when he judges'.

The book of Proverbs for me has been a very deep soul searching treasures of reading over the many years I've gone into its pages. It has strengthened, encouraged, motivated and given hope, reminds me who I am in God and focused me towards the future to keep moving forward knowing he holds our future in his hands.

Yes , every morning i read proverbs .IT has helped me so much how to live my life .PRAISE GOD for all people reading GODS WORD .

I believe that every Christian needs to read Proverbs everyday. One chapter per day every day of the month and when there are less than 31 day in a month you read all remaining chapter the last day of the month. I can say from personal experience it is definitely the Bible book that tells you how to live your life. Our marriage was saved by us reading and sharing Proverbs daily and we have now been doing it for now for 11 years and we could not have a better marriage. God 's word is the answer to all life 's problems, trials and tribulations.

God said wisdom is a better choice than that of gold. Above all things seek wisdom and good health. Trust God and all that we desire will be given unto us. For he says seek he first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. Let us seek God in all his wisdom and receive life. God bless us all.

God loves those who diligently seek after Him and He will reward them by giving them the desires of their heart.

I am a believer who agrees that once you walk with Christ, then you get wisdom for the rest of your life. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom , in the 21st century we are in, the devil has control the earth and so we need wisdom from God to live a righteous life.

PROV 8-25...God made it clear that to follow and seek after and Love him was to find life, but to sin or act in contrary to God is something that will not stand with our Heavenly Creator. PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME, ABOVE ANY NAME WRITTEN. PRAISE THE LORD GOD AND HIS HOLY SON YESHUA. AMEN!!

The fear of the LORD is Wisdom but to separate yourself from evil is Understanding to Win Souls is Prosperity

This is the conclusion of the matter because Prov.1:7 the fear of the LORD is the BEGINNING of knowledge.
