CHAP. CXXVII.
The vertue of Gods blessing. 3 Good children are his gift.
[A song of degrees for Solomon.] Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vaine that build it: except the Lord keepe the citie, the watchman waketh but in vaine.1
Loe, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the wombe is his reward.
As arrowes are in the hand of a mightie man: so are children of the youth.
Happie is the man that hath his quiuer full of them, they shall not be ashamed: but they shall speake with the enemies in the gate.5
