An exhortation to giue thankes to God for particular mercies.
1O giue thankes vnto the Lord, for hee is good: for his mercy endureth for euer.1
2O giue thankes vnto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for euer.
3O giue thankes to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for euer.
4To him who alone doth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for euer.
5To him that by wisedome made the heauens: for his mercy endureth for euer.5
6To him that stretched out the earth aboue the waters: for his mercy endureth for euer.6
7To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for euer.7
8The sunne to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for euer.8
9The moone and starres to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for euer.
10To him that smote Egypt in their first borne: for his mercy endureth for euer.10
11And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for euer.11
12With a strong hand and with a stretched out arme: for his mercy endureth for euer.
13To him which diuided the red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for euer.13
14And made Israel to passe through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for euer.
15But ouerthrewe Pharaoh and his hoste in the red sea: for his mercy endureth for euer.15
16To him which led his people through the wildernesse: for his mercy endureth for euer.16
17To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for euer.
18And slue famous kings: for his mercy endureth for euer.18
19Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for euer.19
