The Word of God is instructs us what is not to do, what we should do and then it says what you will get by doing so.

(Holy) - Dedicated or devoted to the service of God, the church, or religion:
(Profane) - To misuse (anything that should be held in reverence or respect); defile; debase; employ basely or unworthily.

What is the difference between the holy and the profane?

this is the difference between the righteous and sinners

Note what I call the "hidden promise" in verse three(...whatsoever you do will prosper...) for doing what verse one and two command. As Christians we need to remember God is not out to rain on your parade but to keep you from the devils traps/temptations as God word says the Devil is out to kill ,steal, and destroy!!!

The verse is encouraging,interesting and spiritual.my parents made me master it.

I have memorized this chapter by the help of the Holy Spirit of God. I love it and shall always use against any oppressor of my life because my Redeemer lives and reigns from the highest heaven. Thank you King David, glory be to the King of Kings forever and ever amen.

I learning many thing from it.

It is a promising scripture for those who can hear.

My Mom had me memorize this chapter when I was a child. It has been a help all of my life. I love it!

When I read Ps 1---I go to Gal 5:16--26. Be very aware of the LUST of THE FLESH

My mother (deceased 10 years now) highlighted this verse in the bible and placed my name next too it. In my spirit, I believe this verse is speaking to the righteous. It is so easy to get caught up in the world and what's "popular" that majority of us don't take the time to thank God for what we have. We are sinners and God understands that but if you are a true believer God expects more.

We should do what is pleasing to the Lord. We are not perfect beings and there will be times when we do things that are not to his satisfaction. Do not sat in judgment of those whom are weak. If they fall do what you can to lift them up because we are his people and the sheep of his pastures. Be obedient to his word and Praise his name continuesly.

Psalms 1 talks about the beauty of being righteous and how the favour of God is upon those who do good and serve Him diligently. It then explains that the ungodly will be punished because they do not follow His counsel.

Praise Our LORD to everyone,I take Ps.1 to mean I can not do everything the world(sinners)do any more can't even get council from them (amen)(2 Corn.6:17),now I must pray,meditate on EVERYTHING ABOUT GOD THE FATHER,SON, HOLY GHOST, and the ANGELS,even Lucifer,and those demons to be able to win Souls for The Glory of Our GOD!(IJN)!!!.

Its healing,direction,comforation of gods will for our lives.

psalms 1 encourages people to delight in Gods laws so as to tap into his devine nature that enables us to do what an ordinary person cannot do.

Psalms is good

Psalms are praising songs to God: How wonderful and mighty He is and healing medicines for human beings in every situation.

Psalmists1 it givees me hope in the faith I am living with n God and staying grateful in the Lord.

The book of psalm 1 makes me to understand the need to obey God's law ,and the blessings associated with being Godly.

I am a writer and took more than a look at the psalms. I edit as well and I found in the psalms 'thing' were repeated. That does not make them wrong/ bad. I have learned other writers were inspired to write, perhaps 'add' in their thoughts. It is a salute to the original writer of the psalms.I've tried my hand at turning psalm 1 into a poem. It came out well. Church Newsletter next? Who knows?

I love what Psalms one tell me how Jesus came so that I will prosper in his word

Powerful and inspectional

I love the BIble the only book I every read. I try to read everyday. Glad I found this on Internet. I Love Pslams. It tells us a lot of good reading.

I especially love A Psalm of David, I have since I was a child, this chapter softens my heart, it makes me happy, it makes me feel good.

God's plan for the righteous is more than explainable because he made it clear in this passage that whatsoever we doeth shall prosper

There is strength and peace that I find when reading the Lord's word
