Froilan, we're unsure who founded the Church in Rome & it appears that even though Paul had written this great epistle to them, he was not the founder. He wrote this letter probably around the late AD 50s & the Church consisted mainly of Gentile converts.
Paul was anxious to minister in this Church which was widely known & their faith well reported of ( Rom 1:8), so he wrote this letter to prepare them for his planned visit, which of course never materialized. That was because Paul was arrested in Jerusalem & though he was then sent to Rome as a prisoner (early AD 60s), he never got to visit the Church there. We think that Phoebe, from the Corinthian Church, may have been the carrier of his letter (16:1) to Rome. So this letter comes to instruct the believers further in their knowledge of Jesus & to encourage them to live victoriously in a heathen environment.
When examining this great letter, we see that it is more formal than his other letters, as he sets out some important doctrines, chiefly, the doctrine of Justification by Faith & its ramifications. The letter's theme is The Righteousness of God (1:16,17). He then goes on to discuss: natural revelation (1:19,20), universal sin (3:9-20), justification (3.24), propitiation (3:25), faith (chap 4), original sin (5:12), union with Christ (chap 6), election & rejection of Israel (chaps 9-11), spiritual gifts (12:3-8), & respect for the government (13:1-7).
There was a song that had Psalm104:15 in it during charismatic renewal. Does anyone remember the words to it? The last part of the little song was "and oil to make my face to shine".
Truly, the Lord God is supreme. He is in total control. Let all therefore submit and worship Him.
Only God can be attributed those claims; therefore, it’s God’s sovereignty that makes Him superior to all other gods and makes Him, and Him alone, worthy of worship.
How manifold is thy works Lord thru wisdom you've done them all and on this earth are full of thy riches .JEHOVA JIREH THE LORD MY PROVIDER I will praise you Jesus forever for you are worthy Shalom amen
This is a most interesting psalm where all the qualities of the Almighty God is defined for you to appreciate. It goes further to let you understand the extra gifts of bread, wine and oil that gives strength and gladdens the heart of man. It is a psalm of life's needs met on your daily living. if I have my way, I will recite this psalm everyday.
WOW! This whole chapter give the earth, humans, and beasts great examples of how ..., ..., ..., GOD is, therefore Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with Honour and Majesty. Amen. WOW.
V. 1 - " ......."O Lord my God ......."; As I read this just now - it brought to mind Thomas, "My Lord and my God." Thomas was a Jew and would NEVER called Jesus "my Lord AND my God" if he hadn't believed Jesus was - God the creator of everything - Deut. 6:4.
Ps 104: 2,3 Who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain,...who maketh the clouds his chariot, who walketh upon the wings of the wind.
These verses are some of the very most beautiful in the entire bible. The whole chapter is wonderful. The last verse is interesting to dream about as well.
yes ,my dear brothers and sisters after reading this psalm 104 it is clear that lord jesus is the only one who designed the earth and its belongings ,so let us all not forget his deeds forever and praise him till our last breath
"All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small, all things wise and wonderful, the Lord God made them all". O Lord my God, how great thou art.
Revelations, etc. tells us the earth will be destroyed, then a new earth will be built. Psalms 104:5 says it will not be removed forever. V. 5 does not say the earth will never be destroyed.

How wonderful and marvelous are thy works Oh God. For He sent forth His spirit and they are created. Ps. 104 30. Creation came into being from where? The sea came into being from where? From where comes the galaxy? This hanging planet earth came into being from where? The air we breathe that gives free oxygen for our sustenance flows from where? You are indeed wonderful and marvelous God.
Psalm 104 shows what a mighty God we have and a providerfor all. Oh what a blessing just to sleep at night with a loving God and to awake in the morning to see all his neautiful work. What a mighty God.
there is only one Jehovah Jireh the Provider. Jesus wants us to live on a green pasture with full of life in abundance. Thanks be to God for his mercy and love endureth forever. amen

See if any of those are your song
I just hum the ones I can't remember well or I make up my own lyrics for the tune. It happens to everyone.
Magnify his wonderful name
For the glory of the Lord is mine forever
Jesus is ever the same
For the Lord has set me free
And given me liberty, to tell the world that Jesus is mine,
He has given me the wine to make my heart rejoice
And the oil to make my face to shine
Only God can be attributed those claims; therefore, it’s God’s sovereignty that makes Him superior to all other gods and makes Him, and Him alone, worthy of worship.
