PSALMS 126:5 COMMENTS 3 16 2015 6:59 PM For we have sow and spreadeth the seed among men that may receive the seed, and understandeth, they might bring them unto salvation. Matt. 13:8,23John 4:36 1 Cor.3:8 2 Cor.7:8-11. Thanks to God for our Redeemer that we have joyfulness. A-men.
He that goeth forth bearing precious seed.. The seed I believe is the word of God He is I BELIEVE the soul-winner who sows the seed of God 's word in the harvest field of souls for the kingdom to be saved. The souls are the sheaves. The soul winner will rejoice over the souls he brings to the Saviour.
It 's the anointing that breaks the yoke. When the Year That Was Comes, there 's a Holy visitation that anoints your life! What a difference that a new year brings into your life....2015 is the year of VISITATION! It 's my season of VISITATION! Abraham and Sarah got a visitation in the year that was 25years after the Promise! The Year That Was....the year of uncommon harvest..This is the year of the Lord! Amen!
The Lord will always help the people that are going through hardship many sufferings are willing to work hard, he will bless give them plenty in return.
Season of tears never last forever as designed by God, but we all have a spiritual responsibility sowing for our season of joy to manifest. Genesis 8 22
It think the reference to sowing and reaping here is key It speaks of the seasons of the life of a Christian. Those who are in mourning now shall not be in a season of mourning forever, if we yield to the Lord, the refining spiritual growth during the period of mourning shall result in a period of joy on the harvest of the "mountain top ". That is not to say that the cycle will stop, but that we will get stronger and stronger in this often recurring process, and that our joy will magnify and become more consistent as we mature spiritually through the "seasons " of life.
When I read this chapter I thought about deliverance. My Father GOD HAS DELIVERED ME FROM DRuGS. More importantly he strengthens me to stay away from people who are in that kind of lifestyle. The spiritual war fair that we are in is not something we knew about in captivity sin . Now we know we got an advocate a saviour that already won the war. JESUS DEFEATED SIN '. JESUS DEFEATED DEATH JESUS NOW SITS AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER WAITIMG FOR THE FATHER TO MAKE HIS ENEMIES HIS FOOTSTOOL. IN CHRIST AND CHRIST IN US WE ARE AT THE RIGHTHAND OF THE FATHER.
The Lord replaces our tears of joy with His joy. We plant the seed and God gives the harvest which we reap with joy.As we submit before our Lord we often do so with tears of repentance. As we give our hearts, our words to others He brings forth the harvest. The sheaves are the fruit of the harvest, the final result of the ploughing, the planting, the watering, the nurturing of life. So is the Christian life in God.
The seed talked about represents the word, your substance/money. I mean something very precious to you, something that when u give it, it looks as if u have given all. Something that wen u give, it makes u cry cos of its worth. I'm a living testimony of this verse. Praise God
As long as you are of a perfect heart in anything that you do, you will get a precious reward. The most precious seed is the gospel and those that carry it will have a fitting reward.
The man after God's heart, King David clearly shows that when you are afflicted, God's deliverance comes like a dream. It takes you to a level of realization, praise and revelation, thus he concludes that even if you are afflicted, you need to hold on to the Lord of your salvation and He will give you a sure end ( Jeremiah 29:11)
Compare Galatians 6:6; Hebrew 1-3 and psalm 126:5
In the Old covenant is was more of external righteousness but in the new covenant is the inner righteousness, Higher righteousness, please read Matthew chapter 5,6,7 God bless you , await your response
This reminds me of the Bible verse "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away ", when GOD restores, delivers, saves us from our enemies, we would totally forget the evils that came from our pains, it would be a wonder to us, we would be filled with joy and gladness, all our little contributions despite lack and sorrow, the LORD would reward with bountifulness. That also explains the Bible story of the “women of Zarefat who gave her last to the prophet of GOD” and “the Widow who gave her last penny and our Lord Jesus Christ valued it greatly because she gave with all her heart regardless of penury.” Further, it highlights more another Bible verse “For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.” When we sow cheerfully no matter how small it is, we reap cheerfully. Even our enemies would have the cause to fear GOD, rejoicing, and singing with us to the glory of GOD when HE turns our situation around for good. Another part of the scripture says “that a broken and contrite heart GOD does not despise”, so if we’re able to sow in GOD’s kingdom no matter how little, HE would reward us and uplift our souls with joy”. Amen!
This brings another scripture to my mind, and that being,"Weeping endureth for the night, but joy comes in the morning". Even though we as Christians may shed tears,if we keep our faith in HIm, He will reward His Children with gladness. Great is Thy Faifthfullness!
Precious seed to me, means anything that glorifies the name of God. Anybody that suffers 4 the sake of our Lord shall be rewarded and joy shall fill his heart.
When we are shut off from God nothing will work and life becomes series of miseries. After repentance and returning to Jesus. Our life completely change for good in a flash like crossing a thing line. We usually are overwhelmed. God is good. Amen
Mrs. Madge, I wanted to reflect on your question. I think when we say bearing precious seed, maybe it could be literal or figurative. I think the seed could be the Word of God and could even include hardships we face. Good can come from hardships, and our tears can be turned into joy. I think it could be either of these, and I want to thank you for the question. :):)
