  • David legge on Psalms 127 - 10 years ago
He hath not dealt so with any nation and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the. He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. He sendeth out his word, and melteth them he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow. He casteth forth his ice like morsels who can stand before his cold? He giveth snow like wool he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth his word runneth very swiftly. He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat. For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates he hath blessed thy children within thee. Praise the, O Jerusalem praise the, O Zion. The taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. He delighteth not in the strength of the horse he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry. Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains. Sing unto the with thanksgiving sing praise upon the harp unto the heavens The lifteth up the meek he casteth the wicked down to the ground. Great is the, and of great power his understanding is infinite. He telleth the number of the stars he calleth them all by their names. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. The doth build up Jerusalem he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. Praise ye the for it is good to sing praises unto the for it is pleasant and praise is comely.

In this psalm I have learned that we must not think that we are alone but God is always with us, we can 't hide from Him, He is always watching us. So this shows that even in situations we a facing let 's not think that our God is not looking at us, He knows our problems and to Him problems are nothing what He wants most is our hearts Amen!

What an awesome Psalm to read. It depicts exactly who God is to his faithful people, the remnants he has kept and protected and had blessed in the land given unto them. Indeed, he is our covering and protection, our shield against the evil wiles of the enemy. And surely, like he does always he will deliver his saints from strange children whose mouth speaks vanity and their right hands a hand of falsehood! Halleluyah, we have a God who watches over us day and night, and will not allow any evil to come to our abode! The Lord is my tower of strength, and I will fear no foe nor evil. Praise his name forever!

Fields of the Wood Arise, O Lord into thy rest Remember David, his vow, his quest. Eyelids without slumber, his eyes, no sleep salvation, righteousness, let thy priests reap. Ordained and made special, a lamp, its light, anointed, it 's given let it shine bright. Eph ra tah 'tis also where 'twas heard, is written in scripture and found there in word. Know David 's horn 's budding as thou said would Behold, thy church 's risen, in the fields of the wood.
