  • Ivy Johnson on Psalms 127 - 6 years ago
We all need God to search our hearts, our thoughts, especially, since we cannot do it for ourselves. Jesus said, the heart is desperately wicked, who can know it. The thoughts that come to minds have to shunned. We have to cover our hearts and mind with the precious blood of Jesus. God the Holy Spirit has to be our guard and guide. “keep His word in our hearts, we will no sin against Him”.

God will keep His promise, He said He will keep us in perfect peace if we keep our minds on Him. He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him, He will reward us with peace unspoken of. I am a witness.

    Using this for a sermon
  • Paul on Psalms 127 - 6 years ago
Correct me if I'm wrong, as I'm a student of the Bible and still learning. I suggest that Psalm 137 may be referring to those that were called (drawn by God), but, ultimately, not chosen (i.e., not saved). Jesus said (in summary) many will be called, but only a few chosen. Is Psalm 137 what Jesus was referring to?

  • Brianna vs. 20 on Psalms 127 - 6 years ago
Many people are looking for comfort and relief, but they do so based off their own reasoning. Some turn to drugs, worldly wisdom, and self help books. However, vs. 20 highlights the best source of comfort, from Jehovah God himself. He is loyal and guards those who are loyal to him. While this doesn't mean we will never have a problem, we will ALWAYS have help to endure the problem.
  • Ebor Ehima on Psalms 127 - 6 years ago
The book really dwelt on the wicked ones who plan some evil to bring down human. I pray thy lord heal us all in any sickness we might have found ourselves, and save us from the wicked ones. Amen.
  • Anthony Terry on Psalms 127 - 6 years ago
Thus God's chosen fast. If as believers we were to live this lifestyle of fast many of the problems that are in this world that man tries to overcome would actually be overcome. Homelessness would be no more, hunger would be no more. There will always be the poor among us but the poor need not suffer.

  • Brianna vs. 18-19 on Psalms 127 - 6 years ago
If people would turn to their God Jehovah, how much better would the earth be? Everyone's trying to look for solutions in Human Governments, money, and science. Yet the world gets worse not better. God promised that if we would call on him and fear him, then he would be near to us and rescue us.

If we do not build our lives with Christ as our foundation. We will be as the foolish man, whose house got wiped away.
Let us also remember to thank God even for a drink of water, for every next breath, in all things let us give thanks.
