God wants to lift us up with the beauty that allows us to live us in the Christ's very beauty. Oh that we would rejoice in Him, seeing the mighty love of His ministry which He has placed in us, His Bride. These words are from the treasure He has put in my heart to share. ...Amen and Amen, In Jesus' Name.

Hello Beverly. Psalm 149 is of unknown authorship & is essentially a call to praise God. It was probably used as a hymn by Israel, in not only offering praise (vv1-4), but also a victory song of triumph over their enemies (vv5-9). However, these latter verses prophetically look forward when all nations will be subjugated when their Messiah, Jesus Christ returns, setting up the (millennial) kingdom. For this, you can refer to Isaiah 54:11-17 and Micah 5:4-15. However, Christ did return to be their Sacrifice for sins, but they rejected Him as Messiah & there will be a day coming when they will mourn, seeing the One Whom they killed ( Revelation 1:7).

Ps. 149:4 - " ..... He will beautify the MEEK with salvation." I've personally seen this happen with 2-3 women in the church. They came in from lives of hardship and at least one, a black woman, elderly (like me, but I'm white) - within a WEEK of being baptized in Jesus name and rec'ing the Holy Ghost - looked younger. She 'sparkled' - with joy and peace. I can't see it in me, cont.

Psalms 149 talks about the Lord 's favour upon His children. Them that obey the word of God n walk in the righteousness of Christ. The Lord God have promised His victory and authority over their enemies.
