Not certain but it feels like a validation that the Ark was housed or hidden in Jerusalem in the tabernacle. Zion was or is considered to be a city in Jerusalem. The Isrealites were Jewish and they were from Zion.

The Psalm that really reveals how Great God is. It is an inspiring words too. Breathen, have faith in Christ, and with Faith all things are possible. The inspiring verse that usually prone down evildoers, do meditate and see how Powerful God Is. I always overcome my enemies ever since I fervently pray on these verses. Thanks. FOM.

Praise Yahweh Who rescues His humble, obedient loving servants who choose to obey His words from holy scripture.Like Joshua let us say with all of our strength "As for me and my house..we will serve Yahweh,Lord. "...and even if its one lone soul, this testimony of loving faith in Yahwehs protection will receive grace and mercy abundantly! Psalm 20 says it,and gives new courage to the reader. Praise Yahweh!

It 's all about the righteous calling on the Lord, he coming to the rescue. And the wicked trusting in things.

Kevin, your wife left you. Please fear not. Hear this Christ has not left you and will never leave you, however rough the road ahead will be and it will be rough...especially when the loneliness comes. Ahead of you is a journey foist on you by the thief who has stolen, has destroyed and killed your home. But Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life, and I perceive you are His ambassador. Therefore, please get on your knees and begin to pray what is called prophetically. Resurrect your marriage in Jesus name. Resurrect your family in Jesus name. Resurrect your destiny in Jesus name. Daily prayers with understanding or tongues which ever you prefer. But decree the promises of God in the Bible and complete them "in Jesus name ". There is no other name given among men by which we might be saved from the destroyer. Do not doubt or give an inch to sorrow or fear, perfect faith is the opposite of fear. When things will begin to turn around, it might be in a year or longer, but wait for it, for the prophecies you declare are sure and will come to pass. I say not this to any other but to you the ambassador of Christ, here on earth. You reign here with Christ Jesus above the destructions of the enemy. Get your children to prophesy in agreement with you, or devout brethren "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. " Remain in perfect peace and fear no more

My Wife who I believe is a child of God left me over two years ago. She filed for divorce one year ago. I had a Christian lawyer as I did not know what to do. I wanted to let him go but God did not allow me peace about it till last weekend when I saw it is truly over and she is going to make this divorce happen. I let my lawyer go, believing that I should not defend my self in court from another believer. My lawyer had told me through this process that this decision will cost me a lot. But I taught my now grown children that only things for Christ will last, this world will pass away, the Bible stories are true, and God is our only hope. So I am waiting for God to see me through this, putting my faith in him and not in chariots. Time is short, may we all be busy seeing the last souls brought into the kingdom of heaven.

  • Rev. Autrey on Psalms 20 - 11 years ago
(Verse 6) "Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed King. He will answwer him from his holy heaven and rescue him by his great power."

Jesus said that the Psalms talk about him. So this is Jesus talking about himself as he defeats death death and raises himself from the dead. Satan tried to destroy him, but he prevailed.

In fact, the whole Bible is about Jesus and the way he saves us. Because if we are not saved, nothing that we can do will be of any value. What good is it to be rescued from temprol trials just to end up in hell because we are not saved. Do you see the point!

If we call ourselves Christians, we must fix our eyes on Jesus, our Savior. We must learn to see his saving works all through the Bible. That is, we must learn to see Jesus in everything that is written about our salvation, even in the Old Testament.

Too, we must understand that Jesus is the way God spoke to us in the days of old, as well as the way he speaks to us today. As it is said, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."

    Thanks for reading!

  • Timothy Wayne George on Psalms 20:6 - 11 years ago
Now I know that Jehovah saves His anointed. He will hear from His holiness in heaven, and save with His right hand. There is no God Like Jehovah, who is mighty to save. The righteous cries, and the Lord delivers him from all his troubles. Some trust in horses, and chariots, but we will trust in the name of the Lord. My God shall supply all my needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus my Lord.
