  • Wilbert on Psalms 23 - 5 years ago
It is a big comfort when you have enemies that are inlanws If your spouse dies they blame you for it. Even tho you are saved by grace. Mines went out of there way and screamed murder. But that is a lie. The 23rd and other scriptures is a big comfort when you walk thru the valley of the shadow of death. The Lord commands us to fear no evil, because he is with us.
  • Eric Glenn - In Reply on Psalms 23 - 5 years ago

  • I am that Michael Isaac Dale on Psalms 23 - 5 years ago
The proud man attempting to hide his disdain for Prophecy and repentance says, GET SMART-- RECOGNIZE! ! But the graven images worshipped by the murderer are not crosses of Christ, nor are they GOD. For the cross of Christ is the salvation accomplished ONCE for ALL generations of the world. The Christ child, even the Son GOD raised again from the dead; teach true love, humility and severity of sin.
  • Patty Tozi on Psalms 23 - 5 years ago
The air is so crisp this morning- can't you see Then why let the darkness of pollution ruin the air you breath- Can't you see the heaviness of the smoke and debris swirling in the air you now breath. Your body inside suffers daily. Your insides were not created to breath the bad air you now see: GET SMART-- RECOGNIZE! !
  • CAROL on Psalms 23 - 5 years ago
WHAT IS NEEDED TO UNDERSTAND THESE VERSES IS NOT GIVEN TO EVERYONE. MOST OF THESE PARABLES ARE WRITTEN SO ONLY THE CHOSEN CAN UNDERSTAND THE MEANINGS. IT TAKES YEARS OF STUDY,MEDITATION,PRAYER AND LOVE OF GOD TO EVEN BEGIN TO MOVE THE MOUNTAINS THAT BLIND YOUR VIEW OR TO BECOME A CHOSEN ONE. THERE IS NO MAGIC, THERE ARE SECRETS!! IF YOU KNOW HOW IT BEGINS, YOU KNOW HOW IT ENDS. GOD BLESS
  • Carla on Psalms 23 - 5 years ago
I agree with Kirk. I believe that thy rod
  • Bob Forrest on Psalms 23 - 5 years ago
Remember that the Lord is our shepherd. The shepherd uses his rod and his staff to protect us and guide us. When he is guiding us along and we stray, as sheep often do, he gently taps us with his staff to correct us and get us back on the right path. For sheep, it is comforting to know his shepherd is nearby.
  • Marvin on Psalms 23 - 5 years ago
Marquisha: For me, this verse says that the LORD (Jesus) leads me wherever I may go. But also that HE is leading me where HE wants me to go. In the phrase: "I shall not want", the word "want" means "lack". In essence, "I shall not lack". Meaning HE is ALWAYS with us and we may freely receive of HIM all we open our hearts to. In HIM we have a converted soul, peace, comfort and protection eternally.
  • Bruce on Psalms 23 - 5 years ago
There's Nothing magical about any Verse or The Bible Just Thinking such a Thing Places You on The Path of Satan. It's witchcraft /You are to Come Boldly Unto The Throne of Grace, That We may Obtain Mercy and Find Grace to Help in Time of Need ( Hebrews 4:16) Ask Forgiveness ( 1John 1:9) Whosoever was Not Found Written in The Book of Life was Cast into The Lake of Fire( Revelation 20:15)
  • Albert Mensah on Psalms 23 - 5 years ago
This is a magic prayer. Read it three times before venturing anything. It makes one brave to confront all problems, even in poverty, when sick ,when despaired. Whatever we do we have enemies, our streets are valleys of death, even in our own home. Pray this verse to get motivated. ASK AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN

I memorized the 23rd Psalms when I was 3 years old. It’s comforting to know Jesus is my Shepherd while I’m going through the Valley of the shadow of death. He restoreth my soul.

  • Beatrice Rhoden on Psalms 23 - 5 years ago
It is an all embracing scripture that reminds us of the love, power might and righteousness of the Lord. It speaks to the humility of the King and likens his love to that of shepherd. The shepherd has never deserted his flock and in same manner Christ the Lord remains our protector, provider and friend. It is a wonderful experience with Christ and through His Word we are encouraged.
  • Chris oloughlin on Psalms 23 - 5 years ago
I am spiritually, even physically, connected to the people of the deep past when I recite this Psalm. It is soothing and nourishing. Through the words and their meaning, I feel directly connected to God. I love the connection to countless souls of the Jewish faith as well as my own sense of it as a Christian, that I so deeply feel when I recite it. May the Peace of God be with all.

God has been good and I am glad that when you are saved he walks you and guides you through it all. And this verse shows it. Also he restores you soul for his name sake and he cleanses us of the enemy.
