Yea though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death......
That would be our walk through this world. His rod and staff...he protects us, by his chastisement, so he won't lose us to this world, we should have no fear.

The Psalm 23 has shown to me that in spite of one's authority or position in this life, a total submission to our LORD is not only recommended but deemed essential. The psalmist has carefully selected the LORD as his shepherd, therefore, considered himself a sheep whose protection and even life depends totally on the shepherd. With that in mind he declared : "The LORD is my shepherd I shall..."

I can read Psalms 23 from monday 2 monday,January 2 December,cant av enough of those wonderful words. For sure the Lord is my shepherd.Am blessed daily.

Jesus never treated women any differently than he did men. He never ordered women to be silent anywhere or at anytime, nor did he ever reject their presence, regardless of the Jews' patriarchal rules

Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings. Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.

In Summer usually shepherd put some kind of oil on shep's head. There are fly that put its eggs at shep's nose that go to the brain. This makes the shep crazy and die.

Jehova Jireh the Lord my Provider Shalom. Thanks to the blood of Jesus I know goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life thank you Abba Father and I will praise you and worship you Jesus for you are worthy I am your Sheep and you are Shepherd who laid down his life for me Amen

Great word from this verse that I like most " He is my Shepard" , "I will fear no evil"

If the Lord is my Shepherd... I shall want nothing..

Blessing to all. Each day I read this prayer among others to thank the holy father for all of the blessings given to me and my family; friends; co-workers; neighborhood. During these troubling times, we need to pray for all others as well. God bless.

I agree, something about the new American Catholic versions just doesn't cut it, it's like something's missing or left out. Restores peace to ones soul when recited in times of crisis, grief or turmoil......Thus endeth the Sermon. Amen.

Love this prayer gives one peace and strength when reciting it. I don't care for the new american version. Guess its because the original one feels right. When reading it before bed make for a safe and restful night. God be with all of us in all we do.

Psalm 23 is a constant reinder that believing and trusting God in my life, I will never lack. It gives me assurance that keeps me humble and refreshes my soul. Psalm 23 makes my heart smiles 😃.

These psalm 23 really blessed my heart knowing the kind of protection from my enemy.

This psalm is very powerful. It gives me a great sense of comfort to know our God is always there for us. Most importantly that he is there to reward us for eternity if we remain strong for him. Thank you God, you are such a great father!

Ooh how great is our God. I see His Love from His word into my heart, and it gives us life and everlasting. I am blessed by psalm 23

I read this 5 times. It gives me a calm feeling.

This psalms really brings peace to my heart. I can rest asure knowing that God is in control no matter what I face in life. I feel truly blessed that I am a child of God.
