I have looked for guidance and there has been none. I have been one that has lost my way. The lord is now my shepherd. I still lose my way but I have hope that He guided me home. I have no hope except for Jesus. I will keep Jesus. In the 50s, there was no shopping on Sunday, there was Sunday school; concerns on what children were starting to watch on TV, etc.; each generation has gone further downhill. We are better educated; they know more; but there are more problems, more sickness, more teenage problem, we have lost our way. "I shall not want" that means if God is with us,satisfy all our diser and stay wanting nothing becouse your heart become thankful.

To Lori - Amen, Lori; I feel the same way, and at 74 I have several aches 'n pains, but nothing incapacitating. I just keep my mind on 2 Cor.24-27. Paul is so encouraging, and our 'life' isn't here anyway; we're paying the ticket for our NEW life. There are some things you don't mind paying for - if your one of His - Acts 2:38.

As a kid I memorised psalms 23, now I am beginning to understand the meaning better. I know Jesus is my shepherd and his love for me is forever. I believe that Jesus is the son of God, was born of virgin Mary, was crucified for my sins, died, and rose again and will come to take me home. I believe.

Psalm 23:2
Several years ago, I was at home in a deep sleep. In my sleep, I heard this Scripture. I woke up repeating the Scripture. It was awesome!!!
Life at that time was hectic. I had a teenage son on wrong path. God taught me to Praise Him! Today, I smile when I hear psalm 23:2.

When I have trouble going to sleep, I say the our father, hail Mary, 23rd Psalm, Josh 1:9.

My thoughts The Lord is my Shepherd we as people has to BELIEVE what God says with no doubt, through his message he will lead us no matter what we come up against he will deliver us just keep the faith.

Turn to it always in times of turmoil,to me these are the most powerful and comforting words in the Bible.

As I lay in bed this scripture came to me. As Velle did i couldn't remember it all and i left some out, so i too looked it up. I'm believing God is going to fix my life and heal my family this new year. I am thankful i was lead to thos website. It was a blessing reading everyone's comments.

It's a powerful Psalms

I woke up this morning with the 23rd psalms on my mind trying to remember if I'd remember it all; kept saying it but knew I was leaving something out. I decided to look it up and after reading the 23rd psalms, I also found you guys and I'm glad I did and feeling blessed to have done so. I will be chatting with you all and growing in God's Word.

Jesus is everything to me as the 23rd Psalm says.

I am thankful that God gave us this powerful assurance to trust Him in all situations. Thank you LORD for blessed is a person whose God is Jehovah
