I also took interest in the word want. When I first read this verse, it looked like I don 't want the Lord as my shepherd,which of course is ridiculous. I do want and need him....the verse about the still waters has me a little puzzled is the water a pond? Because most waters run constantly unless it is referring to heaven. One day I won 't have to wonder anymore.....I 'll be with HIM!

Isn 't it such a joy in this verse? Goodness and Mercy shall follow me, all the days of my life. And I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Worried about promotion, bonuses? God is the one that provides in good times and bad times. Stand steadfast in trying times, cause God provides.

If God can be for us, what and who can be against us?? Nothing to fear! Move on with your life!

Thank God for completing me, even at times I felt weak and vulnerable.

God will make a way for us. There is nothing to worry about. Facing trial and tribulations? Have God as your shepherd. Let Him into your heart!

Free all your unhappy thoughts. Free all your regrets! It is sufficient for the Lord to watch over us and in this, there is nothing else we really need. God provides and He gives. Everything is throught the grace of God.

Wooo. It gives me joy whenever i read this. It makes me feel that all hope is not lost. Do you know what it means for the Lord to be your shepherd? It means he keeps watch over u and i. That no matter the circumstances he 's always by your side for your protection . So my dear make God your priority in life. i bet you, you will never lack.

I have always wondered about the phrase, "I shall not want " because when I was younger, I desired so many things in the world, physically and emotionally. However, the verse came to be my life verse, whom have I in Heaven but Thee? and there is none on Earth I desire besides Thee! I have many health problems now. I have went from doctor to doctor, and am still facing a line of doctors. Oh for a look at His face! All sorrows will erase! I have even had many doubts at times about salvation. That will erase too! Hallelujah! I love this proverb that someone said "If you must doubt, doubt your doubts and not your beliefs! "

I pray this verse all the time, it relieves me from the stress and strain of try to do right. When trying to deal in these evil times with evil people. But pray changes things and situations especially when you pray every day.

Psalm 23 is one of the prayer point my father uses for a daily prayer, and it helps my family alot, thank you lord! GOD please help my family to become rich becouse we are very poor in financial, in Jesus name amen friend please help in prayer about this condition thanks!

This portion of the Holy scripture has always remain my family daily guiding light from all forms of evil,discouragement,challenges of life and weakness,it gives us straight to move on,Hallelujah thank you Jesus.

I read Psalms 23 every day and it gives me spiritual encouragement knowing that GOD has my back as he even protects his annointed against all emenies.GOD has the last say so in every situation and no one or nothing is too great for GOD to turn it around. Even your enemies will need you one day. That 's why GOD can make your enemies your foot stool and give you FAVOR at the same time. GOD is good all the time.

The Faithfulness of God is at play here. those who look unto Him are not disgraced.

This is my favourite psalm. My family and I and been pursued by a psycho neighbour for 2.5 years. We have been trying for the last 2.5 years to gather evidence against him but to no avail. Even though we have struggled to get this psycho neighbour arrested, my family knows that God is the reason why we are still alive today even though this neighbour has made numerous attempts on my family 's life. God is our protector. We put our trust in only God.

Everything in Psalm 23 is blessed and real. I have always recited psalm 23 in times of difficulty, troubles and guidance, protection and hope and the response has always been positive praise be to God, our creator Amen!

To fully understand this Psalm of David is to first have a conviction. Today, this view versus was sms to me in my darkest hour and it brought tears to my eyes knowing that God prepared a table for me in full view of my enemies and my cup is over flowing. Through my challenges God will be my pillar of strength.

I am so greatful GOD and his son JESUS forever giving grace,love, mercy,favor,healing,many other blessings, and protection against the enemy even when I didn 't see it as he exposes the enemy giving my eyes light to see things clearer. Psalm 23 encourages me to keep my eyes forever looking toward GOD and my saviour JESUS each day and night of my life.I pray GOD saves my immediate family souls and gives them a clean heart,forgiving heart, so they can have peace and a clearer understanding of GOD 's word and life he has prepared for everyone. When discouraged the spirit will remind us a word that applies to your situation.When need to hide a lot of it in our hearts. The more word you have in heart,if you believe, the more faith you will have in God and in your life

I have been in a place surrounded by darkness for days. Wishing for death not wanting to go on. This Psalm is what came to mind. Over and over I have read it and God is lifting me. He has given me strength to go on. To not give up. I find that strength when I meditate on this Psalm the 23rd. Thank God for His Word. I shall LIVE and not die. Hallelujah! He prepares a table for me " in the presence of my enemies ".This tells us that God knew that we will have enemies spiritual and otherwise , so it shouldn 't take us by surprise, God made provision to counter that, since He is God who is all knowing and God of Mercy. So,lets confront our enemies with the right attitude not fear, for we know that fear is not our portion but confidence is. The table will be prepared right on the face of our enemies,God said it, and He is no man that He can lie. It shall be done,

The Psalm 23 has been with me all my life! It 's been my rock my guiding light during the dark times! Also filled me with limitless joy during the good days! God bless you !

It reminds me that in the darkest moment he will be there . Surely there is hope even in darkness even when my eyes cant see he will be there.Just say a prayer
