A voice in the night...helps and protects me.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me......
There is no question in that.People you are missing out please seek the LORD you will get that not for two weeks or two years but for the rest of your life. Praise the LORD

One minister said I look on one shoulder and goodness is following me. I look on the other shoulder and mercy is following me. Thinking about His goodness and mercy to me this morning. Where would we be without Him. God is so good. If you are discouraged today, look up He is here to provide for our every need.

I just love that chapter the lord is my shepherd I shall not want,

All that death can do is cast a shadow !!! Light overcomes the darkness ; darkness cannot comprehend light ,therefore light is greater:(Jesus His word is the light of the world.) Fear is a spirit , fear is of the devil; because I am born of God I have not been given the spirit of fear. The rod is the word of God : the staff is the spoken word of God . Faith not fear. What God His word has spoken to me; that is what I will stand on. Praise the Lord.

Those who find Jesus find peace. The Saviour gives us of His Spirit, and through the Holy Ghost, we learn patience, wisdom, contentment and godliness... Those who spend time in prayer find rest in a Saviour that will never leave us nor forsake us.

As I was praying this morning, this scripture came to my mind...and I remember thinking, how nice it would be if the KJV online scripture happened to be these verses. Sure enough, when I arrived at work and clicked on the online KJV, one of the verses from this chapter was the featured verse. God knows what we need and He most certainly answers prayers. There is so much joy and peace in Psalms 23. We know that the Lord is our Shepherd and He will never leave us nor forsake us. Trusting in God will lead to everlasting mercy and grace. Thank you Lord for hearing my cries. I know you will make a way for your little ones.

My husband recently had two hemorragic (sp)strokes and two crainiotomies to drain the blood out. He was in a coma for over a week. I am not religious though my grandmother raised me in the Presbyterian church.
On the way to the hospital each day for over a month I recited the Lord's Prayer and the Valley of death part of Psalms 23.
The doctors did not think my husband would make it but he is home with me now and doing exercises to strengthen himself and also back on the computer working on his family history books. He is 83 and has multiple medical problems. The nurses and doctors called him the "miracle man".
I don't call it a miracle exactly but something gave him the strength to survive.

This was my mother's favorite scripture and when I find myself at my lowest I recite it and remember her and the hope and joy that it brought to her and I am blessed in that I can feel the presence of God as well as my beloved Mom.

The answer, is there. Whatever the world throws your way, the answer is in this psalm. If god be for us who can be against us. Get off your knees and change your world, god is with you.

I find it very Peaceful and its gives me a feeling of hope..

As a sheep of the LORD, Jehova Jaira, I shall not lack;
No evil shall harm me as I walk with my LORD even through death threatens;
My enemies shall witness the blessings of the LORD in my life;
As long as I walk with the LORD His mercy and favour shall follow me and my household as long as live.
My soul is reassured! Thanking you Jesus!

This passage gives me strength hope and even more faith. I have kidney deasea this helps me go through the storm.

I truly love this psalm because it touches the secret corners of my inner soul,it gives me peace and solace,I feel Gods love deeply whenever I meditate on it.

This is a strong Psalm, it brings all that God is in focus for a person, what you mean to God, what you are to him. All of what he will do and be for you.

My dear' how close are U to GOD befor d Troble come? Am nt saying dat if U're close to GOD U will nt hav any Troble But, I beliv dt GOD will Answe U befor It get to wost and at his own Time ( his own Time dos nt matter how Long d Troble Lingered ) but, what Matter is for GOD to do It best and beyond Human Understanding. THAT IS WHAT THE BIBLE IS TALKING ABOUT GOD's TIME.

I love this psalm it keeps me at peace when I'm down

The enemy is attacking the families but I will not lay down I will cry out to the Lord with all I know I have been with my husband for 28 years and I have 3 kids and I have called on the Lord to fight my battle and save my marriage. I am putting my trust and faith in the Lord and calling upon this scripture every time confusion tries to take over my thoughts and lead me down a path of separation the Lord promise me the desires of my heart if I seek after him and I am running to the Lord.

always protect those who put their trust in him ,

I am in the middle of a seperation, I have some good days, some bad days. When the bad days hit in always go to this. It always lift my spirit. I no that he is with me all the time, but sometime you have to read it out loud and just say thank you JESUS you restoreth my soul,and lead me in the path of righteousness FOR HIS NAME SAKE. I will fear no evil. Been married for 30 years. this keep me lifted

Today I learn my fate as a Flir Temporary Employee that was injured off the job. I am mortified and I thought about this Psalm. I was always exposed to it throughout my life but I never learned it even though I was brought up serving God & going to Christian church's. I'm going to learn it verbatum and then pray for my family. Regardless of whether they let me go or not I will have this for the rest of my life and my belief in God will be even stronger. He will always be with me and if they keep me or not, I will come away from this with a valuable refreshed understanding. I feel more at ease everytime I read it. It's in Gods hands now.
