Memorizing all of Psalms 34 is helping me through the toughest time in my life. It wasn't until I was broken, and reaching for Him, that I was able to see just how awesome God truly is. He was waiting for me with open arms the whole time. So much guilt and shame that id been carrying around for years, He has shouldered for me. I am learning daily how to trust Jesus with my life, and to surrender to Him fully. Knowing now, that He will never let me go.

many are the afflictions of the righteous but its the Lord that delivers him out of all, safety is of the Lord, its only the Lord that can deliver, not any other person, not the psychic reader, not any other God but God Almighty the one that raised the dead in John11, the God that turned the dry bones in the valley of dried bones to become the armies of Israel. The God that the apron of his garment made the 18 years of issue of blood to cease, who among all these gods can do this, these are just few out of many of His acts. that was why Mariam and some women sang a song called "who is like unto you, oh God, who is like unto you, oh God, among the gods, who is like thee, glorious in holiness and fearful in praises " after He delivered them from 430 years of slavery and he made them to walk on dry ground by parting the red sea for them. the same God is who David and those with him flowed unto, looked unto and they were radiant, happy, full of joy, brightened up, sadness in the heart was removed, a sorrowful countenance changed, relief came unto them, their faces were brightened up etc. so looking unto him put an end to a life of shame. they were not ashamed any longer. they trusted in Him for solace, they know he can protect them from any form of evil.

JEHOVAH MEPHALTI The Lord My Deliverer. We need to realize that our enemies are fleeing and being brought into a state of confusion as we begin to worship and praise the Lord. When we offer God our praise we are causing Him to arise in our midst and put to flight the spiritual hosts of wickedness that are trying to defeat us.

i think its my saving grace. God says He is near me when everything is all fallen apart. it gives me a peep of hope. it helps me from throwing in the towel. it tells me He cares. He is near He is close He is beside me. im not alone. He understands. He is not yelling at me , expecting anything of me, waiting for me to do anything at all.....He is just right next to me with His peaceful vibe .
  • Jerry on Psalms 34:14 - 9 years ago
The first step to peace is to seek the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ. He alone can bring peace to your heart and one day soon peace to this world. You will search in vain to find peace anywhere else.

When I call cry upon the Lord : I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus : He delivers me out of all : not just a few : ALL of my troubles : He hears me when I call. So in return : When God calls me : I should hear and answer with : Yes , Lord , here am I !!
  • Olanrewaju Morenikeji on Psalms 34:17 - 9 years ago
The Lord answers the righteous when he cries. It is required of the righteous to cry to God when he is in trouble having this assurance that Jehovah hears and He is there to save in trouble. A righteous man will suffer and die in his trouble if he does not cry to God. Hence we have this assurance that when we cry as a righteous person, God hears us and He is ever willing to rescue and deliver us from all troubles. Food for thought: What happens to the unrighteous?
  • Lucy on Psalms 34 - 9 years ago
verse 22: God says as long as we trust in Him we shall never be desolate....therefore we should always trust in the Lord no matter what because He will keep us, protect us and grant us victory.....
  • Antoinette on Psalms 34 - 9 years ago
Here the emphasis is on the righteous. Yes indeed God created all things. He make the rain fall on the righteous and the unrighteous. Yet it 's the righteous that god saves when they call out, because they are His children and they do Gods bidding. Once you are a child of God, His seal of love and protection is upon you and there 's no way God will turn His ear to you when you cry out to Him. He has a duty to you to hear your cry.
