I believe that earnest Prayer no matter what our situation we are going through, that God hears each and everyone of us. Psalms 35 is a very deep psalm it is a psalm of protection as well as a guide of what GOD can do for us with just the power of his word if we trust and believe in him, He will protect us against all of followers of satan.

I prayer this prayer for 2 weeks straight and was moved out of a terrible position from my job. Prayer changes things and most importantly this is our fight its not against flesh but is spiritual. I love this scripture as the enemy is all around us, we need tp pray this daily.

I pray this psalm upon all the enemies of my soul. as I complete my 2 days fasting let there be physical evidence as all my enemies fall into the pit they dug for me while I go higher in glory and repossess my processions in Jesus name. amen

For the lord will give me peace when my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me , because I am strong I know the LORD is with me. Verse 4 says..let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt. Verse 26: Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me. I will forgive

Betty:Forgiving Can be Hard. Makes no Difference what You have Done, Christ went to The Cross for Your Salvation and Whoever Will come to The Cross. The Girls Need Christ Like All of Us.Their Salvation ismore Important than Anything They have Done. The Lord Said Pickup Your Cross and Follow Him.(Matthew16:24, if not 10:38) Anger is Easy, Love is Hard. Eternity is Never Ending. Pray for The Girls
  • Betty Tompkins on Psalms 35 - 6 years ago
I think it is true quote. I am having a hard time about forgiveness and being able too forgive the persons that took my dead sisters stuff. My nephew gave me all her things.. I was on my husband's niece post and told her all about the stealing that my husband daughter and granddaughter had taken my sisters stuff from the bedroom I had put it. I'm having a hard time forgiven the girls.

  • I AM on Psalms 35 - 7 years ago
NOW, O Israel let the fear of the LORD be upon you; take heed and DO IT: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts. REPENT and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For his only begotten Son has God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour.
  • A disciple on Psalms 35 - 7 years ago
"False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not. They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul." When after centuries of apostasy defiance and sin against the LORD the people asked for a king; God gave them the Announced Glad Tidings of His Anointed the Saviour of the world and their Glory above the Nations! But none of these things moved them to repentance.
  • Nancy on Psalms 35 - 7 years ago
Psalm 35 is a prayer of protection against the wicked ones. When you talk of ememy - remember that satan uses human beings to work. Witches and wizards are the human agents. Read what the bible said in Exdous 22:18. The enemies you have to forgive are the people you know that wrong you due to flesh.
  • Carol on Psalms 35 - 7 years ago
I pray this for me and my Children and grandchildren
  • A on Psalms 35 - 8 years ago
Mark Verrell -- yes He did say that but I'm certain this is about the enemy and his minions, not about other people we'd call our enemies. There is a major difference. We are called to fight the good fight of faith and be armoured up for battle against the enemy. There is no love for the darkness at all. Loving and forgiving our human enemies is what Jesus was talking about, not the enemy
  • Theodore Francis on Psalms 35 - 8 years ago
I believe that the psalm is as relevant today as when uttered by the psalmist. We require the same level of protection from our enemies. It is not for us to take the action necessary against them but for the lord. The lord knows our hearts and situations and so he will take whatever action necessary to protect the just.
  • Irene123 on Psalms 35 - 8 years ago
To Mark Verrell - King David lived in the O.T. dispensation. God dealt differently with sin then - because Jesus had not yet been manifested and brought GRACE. Thee was faith - Noah, Abraham, Ruth, Rahab, etc. (read Heb. ch. 11). This is ALL God's business, not ours; now, in the N.T. dispensation , we are to have faith, which leads to His Grace.

Luke 12:51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay but rather division: John 7:43 So there was a division among the people because of him.

  • Collis on Psalms 35 - 8 years ago
David asks the Lord to defend him from his enemies, those he knows and those who are hidden in the shadows of life. He asks for support and strength from those who "has his back" and asks for those who come against him to be blocked. In everyday life, this psalm helps us to be confident in the Lord and helps us understand that the Lord who protected David, is the same Lord who protects us today.
  • Breeze on Psalms 35 - 8 years ago
Response to Latisha: This psalm is talking about being falsely accused by an enemy and how this person responded. They prayed that the Lord would prove that their claims would be false and that they would see him as a servant of the Lord. Ultimately, he prays for them to give praise and glory to God (salvation, perhaps). A good psalm to support Matthew 5:42-44. Hope this helps.
