Stop, and acknowledge that He alone is God. No matter what circumstance life may bring we serve a God that is bigger than the adversity, bigger than that which we are facing, and He is well able to deliver us. We can rest in Him knowing that He is a God that ushers us into a place of peace, love, and joy if we acknowledge and trust Him. For He change the not.

There is times that in our life, we need to get still before the Lord and reach out to him in prayer, lay aside time to seek him. Study God's word, for guidance, and be still and listen for his still calm voice that he uses. It is so soft in sound one can not hear when they should.

We celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday with our family at my father-in-laws home, who is 92 years old. Just like many families the presence of those loved ones that are no longer with us brings back memories and emotions. I am sadden in my heart for those family members who don't know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ is the One for who I am thankful each day. Praise Him today!

God take cares of his own. we may loose our home, our families, our Job all of our worldly position. we must still trust God, by giving him praise and worship. if God can give us good gifts , whenever the trials come just remember who gives the gift. there are no trials that come upon us that God will not sustained us. He knows what we can handle . the devil is a loser.

Hello Heidi; In composition of both music and prose; Selah indicates a pause or rest. It adds to understanding the Psalms by forcing you to pause to meditate.

"The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted."
Another verse describing the coming of the Lord and the end of this present evil world! There are so many in-depth descriptions, of the great and dreadful Day of the LORD. We are seeing these things come to the full; yet most continue on carelessly. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble!
