Psalms 51 is letting me know how to be humble in the presence of God and live right by keeping his commandments.

God is looking for a broken and a contrite spirit! My own righteousness before God is like a filthy rag! When you have a SEED, you are broken! Surrounding your will to God! You don 't go to the house of God to push for your agenda but seek His!

THE LORD IS FAITHFUL TO FORGIVE WE NEED TO REPENT AND LIVE LIKE WE KNOW WE ARE FORGIVEN THE FATHER GOD IN HEAVEN SAYS IF YOU LOVE ME YOU WILL KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS

A great lesson of repentance even with on going sanctions and punishment ... David really loved the Lord inspite of Satan 's havoc.

Psalm 51 is a wonderful chapter. Lord have mercy on me, now and forever more. Forgive me my sins and iniquities and blot out my transgressions. JESUS IS LORD!

David was a man after God 's own heart and when he sinned he was broken because he knew he did wrong in God 's sight for having Uriah killed so that he could have Bathsheba for his wife to cover his sin in the sight of the people. When I try to cover my sin myself I get into it deeper. When I sin Holy Spirit withdraws Himself because He cannot be manifest where sin is, Repentance is a gift of God I believe and when I confess and repent from the sin done I believe I am cleansed and forgiven That does not mean that I am free from the outcome of the consquences of the sin done. Every disobedience receives a just reccompence of reward. The sword was against David 's house till his death.

Thank You Father God forgive me

Deliver my hands from shedding the blood of another whether it be in a fit of passion, or self defence. Deliver me from the Evil One!

yes. we have to tell this psalm daily to wash our sins .GOD is Holy, no one can go to Heaven with Sin. I love this psalm.

The lord is our God so no matter what our sins are he is willing to forgive us and accept us

God help me to inspire by your word and let this bring to me total restoration in my life, also a sustainable grace to live a rightious life .

As I prayed today I asked this of God , I don 't to become consumed by the challenges that God has allowed in my life as they are the crosses of my life I must bear.I now that GOD is all power and all knowing , I know that he omnipresent and he loves me ... not only me but he has a planned and a desire for all of our lives.I 'm asking GOD to do it again in me for me.

We should always strive to be in right standing with GOD. That is the only state at which He sends his holy spirit to remind us of our transgrations when we err and thereby grant us the grace to acknowledge and ask for the forgiveness of same which He the ever merciful will forgive and cleanse us. D clear notice there is that David never gave excuses for his sins, many people sinned and try to xcuse them selves like Adam, Eve, Saul and the like of them. Saul said am afraid of the people, But David said I have sinned...

What I see is that, no matter the sin commited, God can stil show mercy.

I think this is the best psalm for a Christian. We are all sinners but He 's Gracious and Just to forgive and cleanse us of our inequities so long as we confess at the foot of His throne of Grace.

prais the living God To me i think every human being needs to read this everyday before sleeping. coz we sin everyday sometimes knowingly sometimes un knowingly. But once we read psalms51,God forgives us and gives us the grace to still recieve from him. read it if possible everyday. God 's grace will live to be up on u.

David is clearly pleading to God not to remove him from His presence. David desires to remain in Gods presence and recognised that the Holy Spirit had left him and with this he asks God to 'renew 'a right spirit, the Holy spirit within him. David presented his sin before the Lord because he knew God was the only one who could help him with this. If we we desire to remain in the presence of God it must be on His terms as we live to serve Him.
