  • Michael C. on Psalms 73 - 8 years ago
It is so good and comforting to read the many brothers' and sisters' comments and praises of the Lord on this site. I just want to exhort everyone who loves the Lord Jesus, never, NEVER to give any place to the liar and the slanderer, as to whether or not you're being treated fairly by God. If He ordains us to suffer anything, He has a purpose in it, and He will give us our wages at the day's end.
  • Michael C. on Psalms 73 - 8 years ago
What kind of spurious Christianity do so many have, who are seemingly so ready to give Jesus the back, flee like cowards, and lose heart because of the contradictions of the ungodly, or the difficulties of the way! "The cup which my Father has given me to drink, shall I not drink it?" And as it goes with our Master, we shouldn't expect better for ourselves. Is your treasure all in this evil time?
  • BSP on Psalms 73 - 8 years ago
Like Asaph, seeing the wicked prosper can cause us to envy the wrongdoers or become discouraged and see no value in serving God, but verse 17 shows how meeting together with fellow believers can help us to fight this negative thinking by helping us to get God's viewpoint, readjusting our outlook, and giving us spiritual insight so that we can strengthen our faith and remain loyal to God.

AS WE DRAW NEAR TO GOD WE ARE APPROACHING HOLY GROUND.....AND THE MORE TIME WE SPEND WITH GOD THE MORE PEOPLE WILL KNOW IT.....EVEN DEMONS FEAR THOSE CLOSE TO GOD, YOU CAN SEE IT AS THEY DRAW BACK AND TURN FROM YOU AND WISH TO FLEE FROM YOU.....YES SINNERS KNOW WHEN YOU HAVE SPENT TIME WITH THE GOD OF GLORY...AMEN
  • Bryan McCloud on Psalms 73 - 8 years ago
We shouldn't be envious of those who are rich, because we know that God owns everything anyway. Jesus Christ is all we need.

Everyone wants to be wealthy rich, thus this chapter self explained itself exactly what happening in the world today, the richest became more abundant with wealth which God is just an object of waste, reminds me of the rich young ruler who came to Jesus which Jesus said it is easier for camel to through an eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter in the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus loves us and he will never stop loving us. He is our God and our Savior we must put our trust into God rather than put our confidence into man. Thanks to Jesus for sheding his precious blood to us we are now live because of Jesus forgiveness, his love and mercy endureth forever. He is God that never fail us he is with us all the time. We must walk with faith and not by sight, we must seek God first int our life and all things that we need will be added unto you. Thank you Jesus for being faithful to your promises Amen

I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold - I'd rather be His than have riches untold - I'd rather have Jesus than houses and lands - I'd rather be led by His nailed pierced hand (quote from a little hymn I first heard years ago)
  • VINCENT KIOKO on Psalms 73 - 11 years ago
Fret not when the unrighteous become wealthy for they will vanish and their property destroyed. But if we remain patient and trust unto the lord..surely we will own the world and everything herein.
  • Afolayan Sowande on Psalms 73:24 - 12 years ago
The Holy Spirit said to me that "Life is not difficult to live, it is men that are difficult to lead”. Until a man surrenders to the leading of the Holy Spirit he cannot enter into glorious living. What God wants to give His children is treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, therefore it takes the guidance of the Holy Spirit to know where those treasures can be found.
  • Max Israel Zwelopili on Psalms 73 - 12 years ago
A Sanctuary is a place where all questions of life are settled and the destinies of men understood. I envy no man forever no matter how prosperous, the Sanctuary has cleared my mind well enough about their fate and my glorious outcome.
  • HARRY ALLISON on Psalms 73 - 12 years ago
THOUGH materials are necessary in this life ,I cant worship them!they will dissolve.WHO needs a god like that?JESUS LOVES US AND IS "THE ROCK",that does not dissolve.
  • Timothy Wayne George on Psalms 73 - 12 years ago
We as Christians sometimes wonder why the wicked prosper in the world, and we suffer. We must abide in the sanctuary of God, and there we will see their end. When destruction comes to the wicked, we are not to gloat at it, rather we should be prayerful that they will come to repentance to God. Godly sorrow leads to repentance unto salvation, but worldly sorrow leads to death. God continually guides us with his counsel, and then afterward takes us to glory. So God wants us to be intercessors for those who prosper in this world, and warn them that it is but for a season. Godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing in this world, and we will carry nothing with us when we are gone. Warn those that are rich, they will fall into temptation, and a snare which drown men in perdition, and destruction. It is not a sin to be rich, but with great wealth comes great responsibility. The rich should be free to give, and not trust in uncertain riches. God gives us the ability to earn wealth, and we must be careful to give God the glory for all that he gives us.
  • LUCKY ANACHOR on Psalms 73 - 13 years ago
The righteous will always laugh last at the end.
  • Nathan on Psalms 73 - 13 years ago
well mortal descruction awaits us all. the righteous and the wicked all await a destruction for we all fall short of the glory of God. Believers and non Believers alike all are capable of wicked and foolish endeavors and will face judgement one day. For the Believer however the Lord will forgive them and accept him into his kingdom while the non believe will face an eternal destruction.
  • Esther Njoku on Psalms 73 - 14 years ago
It is good to know that the wicked and the foolish ones may prosper and grow wings but they have a very short, as God is watching them and waiting for their time to repent if they will otherwise destruction awaits them at the end.
