My bro.and sis.allow me to site something to you.Jerusalem is GOD'holy place and he allows no one to stay there first it was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar then he authorized Cyrus to build the 2nd temple and allowed Israel to be his worshippers again inspite of their failure read Ezekiel 43 so that you can see how Israel do his part because of that he allowed the second temple be destroyed by the Romans and this time came the total destruction of the Jews. But allowed the men from the east to be his worshippers jesus also knew it John 4;20 24 the FATHER wanted worshippers that will worship him in spirit and truth. Many can't accept this including USA,BRITAIN AND THE present day Jews, and GOD THRU rev. 11 narrated what will happen. And today you can see clearly that the Jews are trampling al aqsa mosque.pretending it's not the temple.BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT IS THE TEMPLE,that's it's location is in the exact place of the temple. But all this thing in rev 13 .continuing of rev 9

    Revelation 11: Concluding thoughts

Thus; Armageddon and the judgment of the nations where fires burn from one end of the earth to the other along with carcasses ( Jer. 25:33); Zeph. 3:8-10 are inevitable. Christ will come and destroy in one fell swoop those attacking Him in Armageddon; and cast the Antichrist and False Prophet into hell; and Satan will go into the pit for 1000 years.

We need; therefore in order to be part of the harvest warning people of the wrath to come; because the night comes when no man can work. ( John 9:4). This is probably with a double meaning; the time when Christ was first taken away after the crucifixion until His Resurrection; and perhaps later in 70 AD for a time but of course the last part of the Tribulation comes into mind as well. There will be no possibility of repentance after the mark is taken.

    Revelation 11 overview

When we search out verse 2 of this chapter; we see how the Gentiles are "trampling" the area outside the court. This will most likely be the league of the immediately surrounding nations (Jordan; Palesitinians; Lebanon; Egypt etal) that are claiming territory at least in half of Jerusalem and much of Israel but basically not settling in any organized manner. No doubt much chaos and violence will be occuring; starting as early as the 2nd seal and continuing to this point. In any event; there is basically a space for the 2 Witnesses (and any others; I suppose that are taking refuge there but no one is indicated). They are able to operate with impuninty; it seems until they are killed by the Beast ascending from the pit (the last chapter indicating that is the 2nd "woe".)

After the world celebrates their death; it is said that they all give one another gifts. (v. 10). I have heard it been said that would only be possible with online purchases in that short amount of time worldwide; not to mention the worldwide cable TV networks no doubt focused on these things. The last mention of any fear of God is when they are resurrected (v. 13). This will probably wake some up; but not all so that they realize shortly that it is really Antichrist rising to power and subsequently they obey God's plan to evacuate to the wilderness around Petra.

The "third woe" isn't really defined; nor is the seventh trumpet. It stands as a declaration of what is coming to pass which means wrath is no longer restrained; and there is the inevitable path to judgment for those taking the mark of the Beast; and consolidation of nations to Armageddon; after a series of events where nations gather beforehand. THis would be the "rumors to the north and east" ( Daniel 11:44). The timing of the Ezekiel 38 war Russia and northern and confederate nations is a bit vague; but the East (China) will all come toward Armageddon as the Antichrist brigs in the western countries.

    2. "Is there somewhere in the Bible that specifically states that John is one of the 7,000? If you cannot cite a Biblical reference, then I suspect your belief is speculative. Conversely, I can cite a reference that John will prophesize in the "Great City". Do we just disregard a factual statement?"

Yes, by John's own mouth in Revelation 1 saying:

    4 JOHN to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from Him Who is, and Who was, and Who is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before His throne;

5 And from Jesus Christ, Who is the faithful witness, and the first born of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him That loveth us, and loosed us out from our sins by His own blood,

6 And ... made us to be a Kingdom and to be (priests) to The revealed God and His Father; to Him be the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. even the Amen.

That's what the Zedok are "Priest's" Lord's whereby Jesus is Lord of.

    Thank you Father!

No Tony John the Revelator does not see Moses or Elijah within the 7 Golden Candle sticks....In Rev. 1 : 13 John only saw Christ the Son of man within the 7 Golden candle sticks....And in Rev 12 :5 We see the Manchild which is the H.G. that is gonna rule all nations....These 2 witnesses are Spirits....Christ and the H.G....Wayback in Zech 4 the 2 witnesses were his spirits....Not by might or Power but by my Spirits saith the lord....And do not dispise the day of small things....Which is the seed of the sower the woman giving birth to the H.G as Jesus said Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child which is the manchild you will in no wise enter there in....And in Rev. 11 and Zech 4 The 2 witnesses are among the 7 Golden candle sticks...Not Elijah or Moses ....

.....And in Rev 12....We see a clear picture of the manchild that is gonna rule all nations with a rod of iron that 2 nd witness....They were both dead for 2 k yrs....Which was the abomination of desolation when Jesus said the night comes when no man can work....I'm he that was dead but behold i am alive for ever more.

....In Zech 4 :14 ....These are the 2 anointed ones that stand before the God of the earth....Christ and the H.G....That John saw among the 7 Golden candle sticks. Jesus said when he the spirit of truth is come the will reprove the world.

......And in Rev 19 he rides a white horse and outta of his mouth goes a sharp sword that he will smite the nations ....And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood.....We are his vesture dipped in blood....I was naked and you clothe me....

......We have to keep in mind what Jesus said I am 1 that bears witness of my self and my Father that sent me bears witness of me....In Rev 11 God does not tell us who the 2 witnesses are he only says Not by might nor power but by my spirit....But i believe the 2 witness are Christ and the H.G.....As John plainly tells us he saw the Son of Man within the 7 Golden candlesticks..Not Moses or Elijah...ok

Okay, no problem,,, I have to go to work but I can start with this.

Ezekiel 3:1 Moreover He said unto me, Son of Adam, eat that thou findest; eat this scroll, and go speak unto the house of Israel

3:3 And He said unto me, Son of Adam, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.

Revelation 10:8 And the voice which I heard from heaven I heard speaking with me again, saying, "Go and take the Book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth."

9 And I went unto the angel, ... saying to him, "Give me the Book." And he saith to me, "Take it, and eat it up [receivethe knowledge]; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

It was the knowledge of the book that caused them bitter.

The belly reference is a figure of speech, the word is koilia and the Usage: is belly, abdomen, heart, a general term covering any organ in the abdomen, e.g. stomach, womb; met: the inner man.

The Great City (Babylon) is symbolic for confusion whereby peoples, nations, and tongues are the wave of, and it's where God's Election Prophecy, whether during the Great tribulation, or during the Millennium.

I agree, we do not know how John died, Selah!
  • Tony - In Reply on Revelation 11 - 2 years ago
I thank you for your comment. You seem very learned and holy. If you would be so kind as to direct me to the where in Ezekiel it mentions the bitterness in his belly as the bitterness in John's belly, I would me most appreciative.

I humbly disagree but I'm not above correction and reproof. I'd like to offer rebuttal on these points:

    1. Rev 10:11, John is told in no uncertain terms that he will be returning to prophesize ... before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

This is almost the exact same language as Rev 17:15 ... The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. Coincidence? Nothing in the Bible happens by coincidence.

    2. Is there somewhere in the Bible that specifically states that John is one of the 7,000? If you cannot cite a Biblical reference, then I suspect your belief is speculative. Conversely, I can cite a reference that John will prophesize in the "Great City". Do we just disregard a factual statement?

    3. While I agree with you that we can only physically die once, in truth, we do not know how John died.

    4. The angel tells John that he must prophesize again. What do you think the angel meant when he said "again"? To me, this means that John was mortal when he wrote Revelation, and he'll be mortal again when he prophesizes the second time. Then, both John and Elijah will physically die.

    5. Our disagreement lies not with whether he will return but when. I offer to you that the greatest prophet next to Jesus, our Savior, the person who wrote Revelation, will return to see it through. If you think about it, it kinda makes sense.

I eagerly await your response as I value knowledge and wisdom. Equally important is that I hope you do not take offense at what I've written. It wasn't meant that way. Thank you for your understanding Luke. God Bless.

With God, all things are possible; I just hope I make the first resurrection!

The Zedok are written of in Acts 2

"At the seventh trumpet; the death of your flesh and blood body, you will become the image of Christ: and will go as a ministering spirit to prophesy to the deceived; as do all other saints.

Psalms 149:9 To execute upon them (the deceived) the judgement written (that all come to the truth and knowledge of God): this honour hath all his saints.

    Hebrews 3:1

Wherefore, HOLY BRETHREN, partakers of the heavenly (divine) calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of OUR PROFESSION, Christ Jesus."

God Bless YOU, his (Christ's) BODY.

There's A candlestick in Heaven which symbolizes the 7000 Zedok(God's Very Elect).

John is one of the 7000 Zedok(God's Very Elect)who lived and (DIED) throughout the centuries who will be returning with Christ at the 7th trumpet,,, And they say to me, "Thou must prophesy again concerning many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings."

John will be returning with Christ, not as one of the two witnesses.

Just as the book was bitter to John's belly, it was so to Ezekiel's belly who is also one of the 7000 Zedok(God's Very Elect) returning with Christ.

John's flesh cannot DIE twice, or be killed twice, and there's no mention of John being transfigured.

John will be returning with Christ to "prophesy again concerning many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings."

Close your eyes, take a breathe, and ask the Comforter for wisdom and knowledge.

There is much speculation as to who these two individuals are but there is no need to guess. The two witnesses are Elijah from the Old Testament and John, the writer of Revelation, from the New. How do we know this? Because the Bible tells us.

Malachi 4:5 - Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD

Rev 10:11 - And he [an angel] said unto me [John], Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

Dear "Larry.B", there is a bitterness in your words. Are you bitter? You know about Romans 2 And how we Gentiles have been grafted into the original tree? Romans 11:13-24 If you do not do so then give yourself some advice. In Jesus Name we throw bitterness into the deepest abyss, where it can never come back from!

We also ask for wisdom and understanding over Your word Lord! You who are the salvation of all, we set our hope in You Lord, Amen.

ps. Remember u are not alone on the planet and web.

Don't worry the Jews will win the war and will continue on until Jesus Christ returns by that time we are all dead.

It's just pitiful that we will suffer tremendous upheaval and many including the saints and innocent bystanders

Will become victims of this tribulation

    Good luck

Jesus trusted us "to pray for the peace of Jerusalem."

They are surrounded on all sides by their enemies. We are all seeing the End Times fulfilled in our lifetime. At this moment in time, we Gentiles are the Elect.

( Galatians 3). We are being given time, to be grafted into the Vine.

As prophesy unfolds, we are going to see them attacked. Now, American media has seen fit to exclude daily reporting of unfolding events in Israel. That's why I let people know of a born again Jewish reporter, that gives daily reports on what is happening in Israel. His name is Erick Stackelbeck & he's on YouTube. Subscribe so you can be informed of daily events in Jerusalem and all over Israel.

Unfortunately the Palestinians have flooded YouTube with their teachings of a leader named Mahdi, that will appear to them and lead them against all (non-Palestinian) infidels. They're getting ready for war. Take a brief look at some of their videos. The hatred is shocking.

I don't know why our current leaders in Wash DC are funding the Palestinians now, and de-funding Israel? Since USA's inception in colonial times, now our leaders are acting anti-Israel. We must elect leaders that actually know Bible Prophesy. Follow Erick Stakelbeck on his channel. We are living in confusing times.

It's getting more dangerous to tour the Holylands. Their are disasters, landslides and quakes in Palestinian regions. I see it on Two Preachers youtube site. They do outreach to India and Pakistan.

Everyone have a blessed holiday. Life jackets for the little ones :D

Beloved "Larry B." in peace, no one man can stand against the Lord so much. Or shall we say, for so long. It is probably not the Jews who are destroying Jerusalem. remember that the Gentiles have trodden there for over 2000 years. The Jews love Jerusalem. They defend Jerusalem, with prayer and fasting every day, for Jerusalem. In fact, i thought about it today. What are the Jews made of since they still year after year manage and stand in everything they do, without the Holy Spirit as we have. And think about what they have experienced over the years.

Think of the injustice they have experienced. Who do you think caused it? Look at all the hatred and destruction. That ignorant people distort the word of God. It's a shame to say it, but it's needed. There are even Christians who oppose the Jews! None of them have hurt me!

Repent, dear friend, see and love the Jews because they have given us the Bible, the Holy Scriptures, which is the Living Word! Romans 1:16-17 See also that those who do not see Jesus live under the law. There we are lucky you! It is the Jews who have arranged that matter for us, in a way. And because in the eyes of God, the Jews are the cornerstones like us.

But there is nothing we can do without Jesus. So here no one should boast because everything is by grace.

I love the Jews they are a special people who are beautiful creatures before God and all people on earth.

When we talk about the Jerusalem of the earth today. It is full of confessions of all faiths and all will glorify God in their own way. It is a song of praise that is heard from the Jerusalem of the earth from every language on earth. It's an experience and see it. The Jews are not to blame for any misery. They are defenders of God and His Word, just as i am. Rather remember that where the eye stone is, so is the enemy. And there are many of them in Jerusalem! Still, but one day everything will be put in order and that is the day we are waiting for. Jeremiah 29.11 Love u in Christ

The two witnesses will be here after the tribulation.

Jesus' coming is right after the sun and moon are darkened also known as the Lords Day

Read Mathew 24 Jesus answers the question of what will happen in the end and in sequence.

And more specifically read Matt 24:29-30

The book of revelation matches up perfectly.

Read it with no preconceived ideas.

God's Word is AMAZING and the truth.

    Monica,

These two witnesses will be testifying in the streets of Jerusalem for the first 3-1/2 years. There will be two witnesses, 144,000 Jews, and an angel flying around in mid-heaven for 3-1/2 years warning people of what is to come in the last 3-1/2, known as the Great Tribulation. So once the church is removed from the earth, God is going to use these two witnesses, the 144,000 Jews, and an angel flying non-stop for 3-1/2 years to reach the entire world (those who are left behind), warning them not to receive the mark, and preaching the message of salvation to those who are left on this earth.
  • Monica Hawkins will they be there in the beginning of the tribulation or at the on Revelation 11 - 2 years ago
When will the 2 witness be there in the first half of the tribulation or in the last half of the tribulation. That must be n wonderfully experience for the Jewish people.
  • Jane Jackson on Revelation 11 - 2 years ago
The two candlesticks represent the two churches Smyrna and Philadelphia who are of the seven churches. They are the only two who were not told they'd have to repent. The two olive trees are Jews and Gentiles. Represent Elijah/Enoch and Moses.

Hi Dusty , I can only tell you what I think , others may disagree . I believe that the two witnesses are the Israelites or Jews if you prefer , and the Christians . Somewhere , I think in Isaiah but I can't be sure without checking , God actually says , you are my witnesses , the Israelites in the desert and in Egypt before the dessert , witnessed amazing miracles and manifestations of God , I also believe that all the Jews who saw Jesus and the things he did by the power of his Father are witnesses , some of them believed and became what we call Christians , others rejected him . These are just my thoughts . Hope they help not hinder you .

    Hey Karl,

We see this is after the thousand years when Satan is released from the bottomless pit and goes out to deceive the nations. The army is as the sands of the sea and they surround the camp of the saints and Jerusalem. I feel the whole earth will be consumed, as we read in ( Malachi 4:1-3).

We see in verse 10 Satan is cast into the lake of fire where the beast and false prophet are and then in verse 11 God sitting on the great white throne and heaven and earth fled away from His face. Then He makes all new.

    God bless,

    Karl McGuire sr.

Hey Karl my understanding is, may someone else have another view. John was given a vision of the new earth and where we will be, and in verse 10 we are told the time is at hand. Our time on this earth is short like in ( James 4:14), and we may not be here tomorrow and at death that's it, the door is shut there is no redemption after death. The righteous will still be righteous and the wicked will still be wicked. Verse 11 is a warning and a call for those that have not repented and excepted Jesus as their savior and time is running out.

We are all naturally unjust, and filthy because of sin in us, some of us have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. A righteous man is only righteous by the righteousness of Jesus. After the thousand years and judgment, only the righteous and holy will walk through those gates into the New Jerusalem, and verses 11 and 15 are those outside that are cast into the lake of fire, as we see in ( Revelation 21:8).

Dogs were not looked on as we look at them today, they were mostly wild cruel unclean filthy animals highly disliked, Jesus associated a woman of Canaan with dogs, but nothing unclean will enter the city. We have a choice, eternity with God and Jesus in beautiful new earth or the lake of fire.

    God bless,

    RLW
