Lewis, I have been interpeting this exact thing since the 1980's When I was a young man...The woman clothed with the sun...is the statue of liberty with the sun behind her head and it is the fact that the US has made its living feeding the world with wheat and produce...you need the sun for vegetation! For instance, I'm a barber so I am clothed as a barber. The moon under her feet...We are the only country to step foot on the moon..Russia never stepped foot on the moon! Wow..That in itself should be enough to convince anyone and finally a crown of 12 stars. Exactly 12 American astronauts stepped foot on the moon and we have the majority or crown of the 12 tribes of Israel within our country there are less jews in Israel than there are in the US.

And as you stated we are represented by an eagle we invented airflight and we have been around for 250 years. Rev. 12-18 is mostly a prophesy of the Church w/jewish christians backed US...then backslideing and becoming a whore then the utter destruction of US....and 9/11 is the desolation made by the abomination standing in the holy place...At this time we as believers should be fleeing to the mountains away from the US. Soon the 5th will fall the (5th us president to be assassinated and then the vice pres will be six and an election and the seventh and finally the antichrist "new world order" is the eight rev.17... rev 18:1-19 is 9/11/2001 and 18:21 is the total destruction of the US and the start of the Great Tribulation...This will occur on sept.30 2020 according to daniels timeline in daniel 12, Use the 4 june 485 bc (daniels vision written) add 1200 years 90 days, = 31 aug 715 AD (the Al aqusa mosque finished)Islam does not believe jesus is our sacrifice!,+ 1305 and 30 days = 30 sept. 2020...Jesus is the one waiting and coming! The Statue of liberty will be destroyed by an Astroid, Comet or NEO

well, the woman is the spiritual church, and I believe the 12 stars are the Holy apostles and prophets the foundation of the church, and the man child is when we are born into the church when we receive the gift of the holy Ghost we are caught up to heaven , remember the church and jesus christ are as 1, and the dragon is wroth wth the woman and makes war wth the remnant of her seed, which are the ones that the lord promises, our children, and those afar off, and whosoever the Lord will call.

a lady clothed in the sun and the moon under her feet,and a crown of twelve stars on her head,i believe is a description of the USA the lady is the statue of liberty clothed in the sun rise every day of the year,the US have had human feet on the moon,the crown of twelve star is a representation of the US support of the nation of Israel,the two wings of the eagle given her to fly to the wilderness,our national symbol, the bald eagle,the wilderness represents the founding of the republic of the United States of America,a time,times and a half, just a guess 250 years approx. her seed would rule the nations with a rod of iron US foreign and economic policy,the child caught up to heaven to the throne of God is representative of the principles of our founding fathers.that have been forgotten and dismissed by revisionist historians the beast discribed with seven heads and ten horns,is an economic system devouring the world and will bring the ultimate destruction of the earth and all inhabitants stopped only by the pending return of Christ to rule on earth, just an observation....
