The Babylon spoken of here is America. There can be no doubt. "One Nation Under God" seems to be less than half a nation under God these days. It seems that we've thrown away, that which made us great. Just as Isreal did, we have turned our back on God. We, as a nation will be "thrown down" and merchants the world over will weep for there will be no America to buy their goods anymore.

REV 18:23 Meaning was relevant then and even more relevant today. It means the human light or spirit is not bright due to the weathy merchants aka masters of this world-Evil Corporations that spin lies, illusions or sorcery on all humans and all the countries are deceived. Eg. Medi-Pharma Cartells that kill Pharmakia in ancient Greek: Sorcery or creating spells with illusions, potions and drugs.

When i read Rev 18, I think abut the woman taken in adultry that they wanted to stone but Jesus said he that is without sin let him cast the 1st stone. We are the Woman that has been taken in adultry , humanity We go a whoring after all these materialist things that religion/satan offers us. Revelation 18:23 says the candle will light no more and the voice of the bride and groom will be heard no more.the walks in a miraculous way I bless your name Amen

My biggest take away from Revelation 18 is in verse 4 "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues". Many of gods people are still in and worshiping this false beast/church. Wake up and come out of her/it. Confess sins to god and not the pope. Call no man father but almighty god in heaven.

It is true that all the kings of the Earth have fornicated with the Roman Catholic church. The Catholic church created Islam to control Middle East then the situation ran out of their control. Together, the two satanic religions control 75% of the earth. Our Messiah will utterly destroy these religions and send their beneficiaries to eternal torment. Come Lord Jesus come.

Orrilille is right with his answer.Remember folks,your imaginations,your feelings,your ideas,and what you you own will not save you.Get your head and faith in Gods word and look up words to find out the meaning.Don't be lazy and just say "you think,you guess".Trust in the Lord's words and in Him.Spend time on Him.Bet your not lazy when you collect your paycheck.

I believe we are close to the judgement spoken of here. The "merchants" are about to take the seats of our Government...be watchful.
