Jesus TOLD us that anyone who follows Him will be persecuted. Let's just pray that we are strong enough to endure whatever is thrown at us.
  • Dgjot - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 3 years ago
"...a patch which will have an muslim signet on it." Naw, I don't think so. The Mark of the Beast is IN the hand or forehead. The hand symbolizes a person works (good or bad) and the forehead symbolizes a persons mind (carnal or Godly, saved or unsaved, redeemed or unredeemed) If it was a patch or tattoo or a micro chip- it would be easier to refuse. (Just like the phony "vaccine" they're trying to force on everyone who refuses to take it.)
  • Rev.20 - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 3 years ago
My 5cents worth? I look at it as a "dress rehearsal". I am totally switching gears here, but staying in Revelations. Is the bride it's talking about a church? If so which one? (for there ARE many). It says something about they having his name in their foreheads. Any thoughts? Is Jesus looking for a particular church (bride)?, a particular people? Together in Christ.
  • Robert - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 3 years ago
What makes you think the mark will have a Muslim signet?

And will it be so blatant that the issuers of the mark will present it as a means to buy or sell? I imagine it will be sold to the public as a device for bringing peace; that when it is proposed will obviously offend (descerning) christians, who will be persecuted for not being willing to help their fellow man bring said peace.

I have a Question: in Revelation, it mentions 42 Months 1260 days, 3 1/2 years..Then if you read Daniel 12:11 & 12, it mentions 1290 days, and verse 12 it says blessed is the man who reaches 1335 days..What is the purpose of the additional 75 days? or is it a mystery of GOD....
  • Jerry Donald Stoller - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 3 years ago
No the vaccine is not the mark of the beast, You will know when it is presented to the World, as a method to allow you to buy & sell products..it will be similar to a patch which will have an muslim signet on it..Remember there is no FEAR in CHRIST..i RECCOMEND READING REVELATION 17:17,which states that GOD is the Director of the last day events..
  • Theresa on Revelation 20:6 - 3 years ago
The vaccine IS being forced. Maybe the worst is yet to come.
  • S Spencer - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 3 years ago
    Hi Brenda.

    No to both your questions.

This belief comes from a serious lack of studying the Bible.

For one the plagues is from the Lord to punish the "Inhabitants" on earth or those who dwell on Earth.

The .mark of the beast is forced by the antichrist.

If God is giving the plagues and the antichrist is forcing the vaccine wouldn't that be a little odd?

Revelation 15:6. And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

Read Revelation 13:16-17. to find the. mark of the beast.

Read Revelation Ch 15 and Ch 16:1_14..to find the plagues.

And if you noticed If the vaccine was the mark of the beast it would have came before the plagues/coronavirus.

    God bless.
  • Brenda King on Revelation 20 - 3 years ago
Is the plagues going on in the world right now, part of the last days on earth? Is the vaccines the mark of the beast? I don't understand. I have a very forgetful mind. Thank you

Rod Biblically there are different translations of Hell one is Gehenna a place where fire never goes out and the other is sheol where the dead are. In Revelation at very end all people that ever lived just and unjust will be raised from the dead and judged either to eternal life or hell or Gehenna also where satan will be bottomless pit. We who are born again by-pass all this we are taken up with Christs return, gathering together thessalonians. 1 Corinthians 15:50-56. This is my understanding.

    Rod Polk,

In the story of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke16:19-31), we see in verse 23 speaking of the rich man, it says "In Hell he lift up his eyes. That is the word Hades. There's actually only one place in the bible that it is the word Hell, and that's the lake of fire in the book of Revelation. In fact, Hades will be emptied out into the lake of fire. The word Hades means the place of unseen spirits, no physical body, just spirits. Prior to the death of Christ on the cross, when a person died, they went to a place called Hades. For the ones who will eventually be sent to Hell, they were on one side, and the saints waiting for Messiah to come for their salvation were on the other side.

Revelation 20:14 says, "And death and Hell were cast into the lake of fire." That is the compartment of Hades where the non-believers are. They will be cast into the lake of fire (Hell) and will spend eternity there. Right now, there are no believers in Hades. They were released with the Lord's message to them. After He died on the cross for them, He descended into the lower parts of the earth. And all the believers that were in that part of Hades (Abraham's Bosom), they were taken with Christ. But the non-believers were left there. And that's where the non-believers go today until the end of the thousand-year reign of Christ. And then they will be resurrected, the sea will give up its dead, the earth will give up its dead, and they'll stand before Christ and the books will be opened. And they will be judged, every man according to their works. And even death and Hell, and it's kind of like emptying out the compartments. Death and Hell were cast into the lake of fire. From my understanding, this is the other side of Hades that will be emptied out and cast into the lake of fire (Hell).
  • Rod Polk on Revelation 20 - 3 years ago
Is the term Hell the Jewish interpretation meaning the grave. I asked that because in revelations 21 God cast death and hell into hell. I see how death and the grave work together, but how can you literally cast hell into itself and maintain eternity
  • Sam - In Reply on Revelation 20:7 - 3 years ago
Countless thousands of died from this- 7000 on the low end. Check the OpenVAERS dot com stats which come from the CDC. They reported 7000 dead from the covid vaccine. That's more than double the deaths from 9/11 attacks, yet you never hear this on the lying media. They say it's "safe", but obviously if you die it's not safe- think of the thousands of grieving families. They even try to manipulate people into taking it by bribing them with free food, drinks, prizes, games, while failing to disclose that you may die or have blood clots, infertility, and who knows what other problems in the future. I can't believe that a free society forced everyone to become lab rats for an unapproved non-FDA approved experiment- which thousands are dying from. But since VAERS is voluntary for nurses and staff to use for reporting, the 7000 dead is underestimated. It could be 10x that amount! And no one cares! PC correctness is more important than people staying alive? Meanwhile the covid deaths have been grossly exaggerated- only 6% or less of the CDC reported figures are actually covid deaths- which says so on CDCs own website, and masks themselves have caused mass pneumonia deaths, besides the experimental injection. It's shocking how the media covers this up and putting a political false religion above people's lives.

    2 Thessalonians 2:11-13

The only explanation for this irrational chaotic lying behavior causing mass death is that people are under satan's grip and have become entranced by a delusion. We are closer to end times than ever. Get right with God today.

Jesus said 'Fear not, for they can only kill your flesh and not your Soul.

But Fear the One who can kill both'...

He is saying,God,the creator of the soul is the One n only, who can Extinguish it...

This is 'The Fear of the Lord', Knowing/understanding,God can do Whatever he wants with Any person at Anytime.

He does this, because he owns us n everything.

Its the same thing as a person builds a custom car.the owner of the car can do whatever he wants with it,paint it any color, wheels engine etc.he can park it,sell it or scrap it

Because the title is in his name

Terry, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

There is only ONE LIFE, and that life is CHRIST.

Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine, the soul that sinneth (believes not that Jesus come to destroy DEATH and the GRAVE and replace it with LIFE (CHRIST), IT SHALL DIE.

In Christ; LIFE. Not in Christ; DEATH.

Good Morning. Gog is the king of his kingdom that is called Magog. In the Old Testament you will find Gog and Magog fighting against the Jews in the book of Ezekiel. Today anyone, any system, any government or church who fights against Gods people are considered enemies just like Gog was the enemy of the Jews in the past.
  • Phil - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 3 years ago
Good Morning. Good question. I think the fact that the last verse says that whosoever name is not in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire shows us that our souls never die.

Do souls of the unjust actually die?
  • Chris - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 3 years ago
Hi WH Hamilton. These names you see in Revelation 20:8 go all the way back to the days of Noah. As you know, Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham & Japheth. From Japheth issued sons: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, & Tiras. And Genesis 20:2-5 tell us that "By these (the sons/descendants of Japheth) were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations."

Then the Word of the LORD came to Ezekiel ( Ezekiel 38:1-3): "Son of man (i.e. Ezekiel), set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him". Even though we can't be certain of the exact locations of where these people actually settled in, we can assume that they went into Europe (northern parts) & the various countries formed from these families. Therefore, this 'person' Gog, is also unknown, even though he is referred to as "the chief prince of Meshech & Tubal". These names certainly don't have any modern day counterparts, though it seems that these countries, maybe a union of them, will figure in that great battle in the Valley of Megiddo (Ezekiel chapters 38 & 39; Revelation 16:14-16; Zechariah 14:1-3; Joel 3:1,2). Some suppose that Russia is referred to here, in which case those nations around them & under her influence & power will come against Israel in that Great Day of God's Judgement.

Davie Miller, regarding Revelation 20:14. I think you are accurate when you say, you die and you cease to exist, it's as though you never existed. God is a Holy, Just Merciful God. After the judgement, God will bring forward the second death, which is eternal.
  • Mild Bill - In Reply on Revelation 20:14 - 3 years ago
    Davie Miller,

The second death is similiar to the first death, a separation. In the first death a person is removed from their body and our present position in the time/creation sense of "world". In the second death a person is sent to "outer darkness" apart from God for eternity. For a believer, the experience is eternally exhilarating and joyful. For someone who did not believe, there is torment simply because God is. You see, while here in this form of life, both believers and non-believers may neglect God in our thoughts, but once we leave here, God is never absent in our mind. When he really is in our hearts as Lord and Savior, we never lose our place in his heart, forever.
  • Chris - In Reply on Revelation 20:14 - 3 years ago
I believe that we need to understand what 'death' is when seen in the Bible. If you ask a man on the street, he will think of death as just a cessation of life & the body disposed of. But the Bible generally speaks of death as more than cessation of life on Earth, but of the requirement to enter into another dimension. When Adam & Eve were told that they would die if they disobeyed God by eating of that tree, indeed they would experience physical death, but much more, that death would take them into the next dimension of existence. So physical death (as in a deep sleep) is generally understood as a 'curtain' that we pass through into the next life. However, as in John 11:14, Jesus also spoke of just a present bodily death of Lazarus.

So when you read of a Second Death ( Rev 20:14), there must of necessity be a First Death. So the First Death is that first experience that we will enter as we close our eyes to this physical world & become aware of the next world. Even though there are other views on when & how this happens, my understanding is that if we are saved through faith in Jesus, we (our souls) are transported into Heaven (pre-Cross: there was a holding stage where the righteous & unrighteous were held: Luke 16:19-31)). But at Jesus' death & resurrection, those righteous were removed from there.

So the Second Death now only applies to those who have died without Christ, whether from days past or yet in the future. They no longer will be held in Hell suffering awaiting judgement, but at the close of the age, they, together with the Devil, his angels, the Antichrist & Death & Hell itself, will be consigned into the Lake of Fire for all eternity ( Mark 9:43-48). As for those in Heaven or in God's new heaven & earth (Revelation chapter 21) who will live into eternity in God's Presence, so too will those who have been sent to the Lake of Fire, be enveloped in continual flames for all eternity. Some believe in a reprieve - the Bible doesn't indicate this at all.
  • Davie miller on Revelation 20:14 - 3 years ago
What does the bible mean buy the second death does it mean that your soul will be destroyed for ever like you never excised or does in mean you still burn for ever because death means you die so if God says they were thrown in to the lake and this is the second death. And death means to die wouldn't also mean the second death is your soul dies like you was never created I just don't understand what that verse means about the second death

  • Old Earth Theory vs The Bible by Mishael - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 3 years ago
    John 3:16

For God so loved THE WORLD that he gave his only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Last time I checked, that scripture still stands prominently in the Bible. Jesus was crucified for everyone. He suffered the wrath of God for everyone. Willingly. And He was raised up on the 3rd day. Victorious!

What you mentioned about pre-Genesis is called, "Old Earth Theory". It is a Cult of people that teach something that is not recorded in the Bible. "In Beginning" is when God created TIME. That is when the story began.

The whole ENTIRE BIBLE is about a PERSON. His name is Jesus.

    John 1:1-5

    1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

    2. The same was in the beginning with God

    3. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

    4. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

    5. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

If God had included a Book and Chapters about pre-Genesis; it would be in the Bible. But they didn't do that. The Book of John clearly explains that. God gave us archaeology, astronomy, and science to find HIM; to SEE HIM.

    Romans 1

17For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from FAITH TO FAITH: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

    18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and GODHEAD, so that they are WITHOUT EXCUSE.

21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him NOT as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Everything is fine and dandy, I love yours opinions and and your knowledge of the scriptures but there is lot that you all need to know before you be effective to Jesu, did you know that there are millions of years between the first verse of the bible and the second?,what was the name of the woman before the fall?Did you know that the creator became God of the Israelites in MT. Sinai but not of the rest of the world, thats why he became only god of the israelites.there are only two nations in the world the Israelites and the Gentiles and MORE.
