    Matthew 10:22

    1 Corinthians 15:52

    Revelation 2:26

I have a question. who are the people in the nations that the devil deceives after he is released from the bottomless pit ?

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them, and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Note: All these mention in verse 4 believed all GOD said concerning SALVATION through HIS SON (see John 3:16-21 or similar verses) thereby they WALKED BY FAITH, trusting in JESUS to ensure their name was written in THE BOOK OF LIFE /V 15... and look at where they sit /stand in verse 4.

And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth : Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours : and their works do follow them. Revelation 14:13. All we need to do is live with Jesus Christ by keeping His commandments. If we live in the Lord we will die in Him. No confusion at all.
  • Obbie Beal on Revelation 20 - 4 years ago
1-3 above, we again see and learn of THE POWER OF GOD. Above IT restrained the enemy.

Note: This same POWER OF Jehovah /GOD in 1-3 is made available to us (see John 3:16-21 or similar verses) and when we daily rightly seek /draw-on this POWER OF GOD we individually are empowered by HIM to 'restrain our self' from being our own worse enemy. One of many examples of being my own worse enemy is: where applicable we became comfortable allowing ourselves to be deceived or we deceive ourselves by looking to /for fragile humans, money, or stuff to do for us that which GOD has reserved for HIMSELF to do for us through HIS POWER.

Reading Ezekiel 28:12-19, Matthew 25:41, Hebrews 2:14 and Revelation 20:10, it is apparent that the end of Satan is destruction in the lake of fire. There is no savior for fallen angels. Thank the LORD that he so loved us and provided his Son Jesus Christ to pay the penalty for our sin.
  • Daniel on Revelation 20:13 - 4 years ago
Keep in mind please may it be on earth as it is in Heaven.

Both the quick and the dead shall be judged.

There are two baptisms one with water and the other by receiving the most blessed of all gift the gift of the Holy Spirit and we die daily in our old ways and by the daily renewing of of our minds learn to become one body in Christ.

So did Jesus die for Esau?
Malachi 1:2-3, "I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.." John 15:16, "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you..."
who made the choice? the apostles or Jesus?

Luke 8:10, "And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand." ( Matthew 11:25)
Not every one was given to understanding the things of God

I believe 'a season' is meant to be 'for a time' - not necessarily a specific amount of time. Remember that spiritual time is not the same as man's time.
  • James - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 4 years ago
    Just to be sure . . .
This does NOT refer to the Calvinist (anti-Biblical) doctrine of election in connection with the equally false and demonic doctrine of limited atonement (the humanistic assumption that Christ was/is inadequate).
Also, the second death to which you refer is the eternal descent into the devil's appointed torment and its total separation from God.
Those dead in Christ who are not in the first Resurrection will rise to stand judgment after the Milennium, and those who are dead outside of Christ are contained in what is called "Death and Hell" . . . These are cast into the lake of fire forever.

And the dead were raised to life and reigned with christ 1000 years this is the first resurection blessed are those who share in 1st resurection bc 2nd death has no power over them. its the elect they are sealed on there foreheads there mind is awake they are spirit born of spirit they cant die any more bc they crucified th flesh

a good listening song although, not like some music of today's music industry
  • Adam - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 4 years ago
Ecclesiastes 3:1 The song by the Byrds, Turn Turn Turn is based on this- there's a season for everything. I think the length of the season varies in each person's life, but this idea is not based on scripture.
  • Bob Hilt - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 4 years ago
I am not 100% sure but there are 4 seasons
Spring, Summer, Fall or Autumn and Winter
Sometimes the Bible calls many years a LONG SEASON as in Joshua 24:7 70 years in the wilderness
    Hebrews 11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
  • Carol on Revelation 20 - 4 years ago
How long is a Biblical "season?"
  • Nate - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 4 years ago
a thousand years is as 1 day with the Lord, as 1 day is a thousand years. it doesn't say rapture, it says being caught up unto God and his throne.
  • Austin - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 4 years ago
O come on,you know its not, but the catching away of the church in Thess. is commonly called the rapture and has been since before you or I were born.
  • Charles miller - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 4 years ago
and were in the bible is the word rapture
  • Austin - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 4 years ago
All this is after the rapture. You dont wanna miss rapture.Dont miss the rapture.
  • Austin - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 4 years ago
Carol: 1 Peter 5:8 Satan walks about seeking whoever he can...Verse 4 is only about the people who get saved during the 7 year tribulation. The 1000 year reign will start immediately after the 7 year tribulation and the martyrs from the tribulation will reign with Christ during that 1000 years. The second resurecction is verse twelve where all the unsaved dead will be brought to judgement and face second being cast into the lake of fire
  • Carol on Revelation 20 - 4 years ago
Question, Satan IS deceiving people now, so he is not yet bound. So is a thousand years of peace coming before the devil returns to deceive all Nations? Also the first resurrection 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. This is totally confusing please clarify. When will the 2nd resurrection be, and when will the dead that remain dead come and what will happen to them others?
  • Lyle SHORT - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 5 years ago
Romans thru Philemon. The church the body of Christ is nowhere in this chapter. Revelation is like Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and the first 8 chapters of Acts. The earthly Jesus himself said that he was not sent, but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. So until Christ revealed the body of Christ to and thru Paul nobody except God knew about it. Then the rest of scripture is also to Israel.
  • Walter - In Reply on Revelation 20 - 5 years ago
If you don't believe this, then what information do you think is "relevant?"
  • I am that Michael Isaac Dale on Revelation 20 - 5 years ago
Being naked, ye say, But the body of Christ has ALREADY been taken into heavenly places to be with the Lord forever more than a thousand years before. Nay. Do not the Holy Scriptures warn of ye Sadducees, saying, Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past ALREADY; and overthrow the faith of some? (and of Christ,) Of whom the whole family in heaven AND earth is named?
  • LYLE R SHORT on Revelation 20 - 5 years ago
It has relevant information in it, but the body of Christ has already been taken into heavenly places to be with the Lord forever more than a thousand years before. That exit from the earth is found in the fourth chapter of 1 Thessalonians and elsewhere in the Apostle Paul's epistles.
  • George McManus on Revelation 20 - 5 years ago
