I have studied chapter 19,20,21 many times .It is very good. But i need a clarification. Please explain. In bible it is said that a new earth and new heaven will come made up of gold, pearls, precious stones etc. I like to know whether this type of new earth comes when the son of man arrives as a second coming and judging the world (or)whether this type of new earth comes after 1000 years of gods rule when latter the Satan will be loosened and then sent in to fire lake?

Praise GOD for His grace! The Lamb, Lord Jesus, bore our transgressions and separation from our Creator (because of man's first sin) so that we may know His kingdom! The curse of man was broken though His perfect life, His death, and His Resurrection! He lives today and soon He's coming back to judge the whole world! Repent and "call upon the name of the Lord and thou SHALT be SAVED"!!!

If we had family who did not make it in to heaven, there would be tears in heaven, what we know now will not be in heaven,if it was, then there would be sorrow in heaven and the tears would flow.

A New Heaven and a New Earth
Hundreds of years before John’s day, Jehovah had said to Isaiah: “For here I am creating new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be called to mind, neither will they come up into the heart.” ( Isaiah 65:17; 66:22) This prophecy was initially fulfilled when faithful Jews returned to Jerusalem in 537 B.C.E. after their 70-year exile in Babylon. . In that restoration, they formed a cleansed society, “a new earth,” under a new governmental system, “new heavens.” The apostle Peter, however, pointed to a further application of the prophecy, saying: “But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell.” (2 Peter 3:13) John now shows that this promise is fulfilled during the Lord’s day. “The former heaven and the former earth,” Satan’s organized system of things with its governmental structure influenced by Satan and his demons, will pass away. The turbulent “sea” of wicked, rebellious mankind will cease to exist. In its place will be “a new heaven and a new earth”—a new earthly society under a new government, God’s Kingdom.

concerning verse 4, I believe the tears that will be wiped away are the tears of sorrow that after seeing the Father and all His beauty for the first time we will weep that we did not spend more time with Him when we had opportunity after opportunity.
  • Timothy Wayne George on Revelation 21:8 - 11 years ago
The cowardly, murderers, sexually immoral, socerers, and all liars shall have their part in the Lake of Fire, and Brimstone where the devil,Antichrist, and false prophet are, which is the second death. Hell was not prepared for man, but for the devil and his fallen angels. To go to hell one has to reject Jesus Christ as their Savior, who stands at the door of their heart knocking for them to open the door to Him. Praise God that there will be nothing impure that will enter the New Jerusalem.

The church is the Lamb's bride. All those that are saved by grace, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.
  • Cuthbert on Revelation 21:9 - 12 years ago
I just don’t understand it! Who is the Lamb's wife?

Blessed is he that reads the word of prophecy.
  • Grace on Revelation 21 - 12 years ago
God tries and uses every opportunity to make Himself plain. John’s revelation in verse 3 confirms that God dwells with His people as seen in 1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19. God is not unaware of the sufferings, pain, sorrow, injustices of this life and all sorts of maltreatments which His people are sometimes subjected to. Even Christ was not spared of such. The assurance here in verse 4 is that in the eternal glory, these will no longer be; hence there will be no more need for tears, crying, etc… nor death.

Ephesians 5:25-33, 32 Not so much a great mystery, if they read the whole Bible or find this part... Also Science is not the problem, it’s the scientists because it is written in Proverbs 1:4 "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all your getting get understanding." To me, scientists are just trying to attack the Bible for an excuse for sinning, to not follow God, for what someone else did; Breaking Exodus 20:7 or grieving over death. Scientist should also do a little more "RE SEARCH" because I don’t like them making things, your just looking at what's is ALREADY there. You almost/sometimes describe what God does...but you can't do what God does Ecclesiastes 11:5, John 8:28 and 5:19...you will never know unless God tells you or gives you the power to do so. The so called "NEW PLANETS" and "GALAXIES" “we haven't discovered"... Genesis 1:16 "Evolution Theory"... Genesis 1:24-25...Monkeys breed Monkeys Putting aside or saying who lit the match? God, Yahweh, Genesis 11:9, for scientist's "Big Bang Theory"... Genesis 1:1-18, 1.
  • Lyell on Revelation 21 - 12 years ago
As, believers, saved by His grace, it is our privilege to see and be a part of this city. Christ Jesus said, "All the Father giveth to me shall come to me." We came to Jesus because God the father gave us to Jesus, He also said He would not cast us out. Then he would lose none of those whom the Father has given him. Then He assures our resurrection; " I will raise them up".
  • Webson on Revelation 21:8 - 12 years ago
People who do sin or a small sin like stealing someone's pen will be the same as a murder because he/she shall not enter the Kingdom of heaven.
  • Emmanuel Johnson on Revelation 21 - 12 years ago
The book of Revelation is so inspiring and consoling to many of us who are still on the battle field on this side of life. Oh how we yearn to soon join the church above in a land where there will be no tears again forever. Face to face with my savior, o what a day when we shall all behold him in glory! Maranatha.

I think that the pearls represent twelve women in the Bible. Like the mother of pearls. It might be far fetched but it makes sense to me.
  • Joshua on Revelation 21:1 - 12 years ago
I believe in Revelation that all that will happened when Christ will return on this earth. Remember John is saying these are true and amen.
  • Rick langston on Revelation 21 - 12 years ago
This is the fulfillment of Isaiah 65:17, and 2 Peter 3:12, 13. We see a new heaven a new earth and a new city, new Jerusalem. This city will be the eternal home of the church, the bride of Christ.
  • Kennygross on Revelation 21 - 12 years ago
GOD, and GOD alone is creater of all things.
It is he who is preparing the bride. The bride is the church and true followers of Jesus Christ.
If you would go to(Romans10:9-14). If you understand what that means, you know the LORD is
coming back for those who truthly belive, teach,
and peach GODS' Word. You see, the church is the
bride and Jesus is the groom, GOD is building
the city for us, the bride and groom.
  • Wanda Mercer on Revelation 21 - 12 years ago
Everyone pray for another that the Lord will give us strength to recognize and do his perfect will. For He alone is able to keep us.

My Godly sincere love I give to you all. I pray God's Peace for each of you. Christ Jesus and He alone is able to keep us.

Belivers in Jesus Christ: Pray my strenght in the Lord Christ Jesus. I am sad at times and need to know the Joy of Lord at all times.
  • Calista on Revelation 21:21 - 13 years ago

  • JOHN MAYAKA on Revelation 21 - 13 years ago
Here the bride of the LAMB Jesus Christ, is adorned with the glory of the LORD, descending from heaven with the Bridegroom. O what a glorious time that will be!
  • Dandridge on Revelation 21 - 13 years ago
This is what the Lord God promises to us if we follow the holy spirit and let it guide us. If we fall off track, we must repent wholeheartedly and actually mean it. Then continue our journey on fully lighted Jesus' path.
