REV 4-6...The scripture in Rev Chapter 4 gives an over all picture of what the Apostle John must have seen while in the Spirit, the description of Jasper and Sardine stone is actually a beautiful deep opaque redish orange in color, similarly the description of our Lord and Savior His skin is described as brass glowing like in a furnace, a beautiful opaque redish orange a distinguishing mark of unyielding power, His countenance, as the sun shines in His strength, remember, God says he makes ALL THINGS NEW, all the former things are passed away, so the things we know and have come accustomed to are going to be with a new and perfect look in Gods Kingdom I would not try to relate anything in this life or on this Earth with the Beauty of what GOD is or His SON or what He has Created in Heaven there is just no comparison. AMEN!!

I can only imagine what will be in Heaven, but I know that the most important part is not the throne, or the four and twenty elder, nor the crowns, nor the beauty of the crystal river, but the true beauty of Heaven is He that sits on that throne, Glory!!!! I can hardly contain the excitement I feel to know that I shall behold Him and adore Him, and Thank Him face to face, or my face to His feet, or whatever He wishes that will I do!!! I am so honored that He loved me enough to take on this mortal flesh, and to die the gruesome and lonely death He died, but I am so glad that on that third and appointed morning He arose victorious over death, Hell and the grave!!! At my church we practice foot washing. It is the most Holy experience, and I cannot express how I would have loved to have washed my Savior 's precious feet. Heaven is real, Jesus is my King, and I am loved !!! Glory to God in the Highest!!!!
  • Pastor Gbadebo Lawal on Revelation 4:11 - 9 years ago
The total summary of this passage is that All creatures in heaven and on earth will praise and honour Him because He is the creator and sustainer of everything and there is nothing we have without Him. As believers whatever situation we find ourselves, we must continually Praise and Honour Him.
  • Lissa on Revelation 4 - 10 years ago
I am so grateful that at a very young age I know about the Almighty God, though I may make mistakes at times, but i make those mistakes then repent, rather than fall and keep my distance from Christ. I feel so eager to preach the gospel and not what others that seek attention preach, but just preach the word of God and only it.. It 's funny how the pastors now preach something tha is way different from that on the Bible to get big ministries instead of letting people know the truth and let them choose whether they want to commit to it... But anyways our God never leaves us, we 're the ones who leave him, yet still he takes us back and comforts us whenever we feel pains and heartaches.ohw what a Mighty God we serve...

Jarsper and sardin stone are dark brown like that of the brass. The appearance of the creator here is undoutbtedly negroid and John describes it perfty. Jasper and sardin stones are the only mineral stones dark brown in appearance which looks very beautiful and fit well according to the appearance of the Creator. The negroid features shows why John never used gold or emirad in his appearance but rather what looked dark brown.

  • Lucy on Revelation 4 - 10 years ago
God is truly amazing! in Revelation He tells us that which is now , many will fall away and that to hold on to what we have in Him through continued praying and seeking ,plus as long as His Word is here to read and strengthen others in faith as well as ourselves in His ultimate final authoritative Word I 'm so thankful that when I 'm tired of living in such a sick , sinful world I can look up and know , I 'm not alone Praise be to God forever and ever in Jesus Name !!! Amen To all my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ , hold on , soon very soon , we are going to see The King

Throne Room Praise Holy Holy Holy Worthy Worthy Worthy.
  • Eaglesrock on Revelation 4 - 10 years ago
This is why I believe Jesus comes for us before the tribulation. Revelation 4 1,2 The rapture has just taken place. The sound of a trumpet, and John is before the throne room. Revelation 6 starts the tribulation, Revelation 4 comes before Revelation 6.
  • Kenneth on Revelation 4:11 - 10 years ago
All things bright and beautiful All creatures great and small All things wise and and wonderful, The LORD GOD made them all... Hymn Ancient and Modern Therefore, Our good LORD is worthy to receive glory and honor, power and praises from we his creatures . He made all these for our benefits should we use them the right way. • MockingBird on Revelation 4:11 - 10 years ago
God made us for to have fellowship with Him. He made us and all things foe His pleasure. In Genesis 1 He says quite often that God saw and it was good after He created it. Praise God he is worthy to have all Praise Glory Honor and our mere human flesh cannot suffice the exactness of all that is rightly due Him.
  • Blessed on Revelation 4 - 10 years ago

Who are these 4 beasts in our understanding. What do they represent in really Christian life. Are they God glory?
  • Bud Lambert on Revelation 4 - 10 years ago
I believe the significance of this chapter is to show us the holiness and worthiness of God. Not only do the 24 elders fall down and worship Him, but so do the beasts.
  • Ethel on Revelation 4 - 10 years ago
ETHEL WARE COMMENTS ON REV 4 The significance, is the quality of being important, worthy of sitting on His thrown ruling the world. The seven lamps or the seven spirit, symbolize the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD.

Jason regarding your question about Who are the 24 elders They are the redeemed They worship God before the Lamb receives the scroll And the Tribulation begins when the scroll is unsealed
  • MATHEW P THOMAS on Revelation 4:6 - 10 years ago
can we find some connection between teh sea of glass and that of bronze laver with water outside the tabernacle
  • Mark Johnson on Revelation 4:4 - 10 years ago
I believe this represents the raptured church The term elder in the bible is always in reference to the church Also it mentions crowns since angels don t wear crowns I believe this is the judgment seat of Christ taking place Some teach a post trib rapture the only problem is that in rev 19 we see the saints coming back with Christ a post trib teaches that we are raptured at his second coming Also a post trib teaching believes in Matthew the one taken and the one left is the rapture this is incorrect that verse is talking about one taken in to judgment and one left to go in to the 1000 year kingdom Also the translation for taken is destruction
  • Faithfull on Revelation 4:7 - 10 years ago
all Beasts in Dan and Rev Are at least two things one ting is a nation all beasts are a nation properly identifying which one is which is the only way to understand everything in this prophecy should you believe a lie then your understanding will be flawed it you see and believe the truth then all the secrets shall be granted to your understanding so read on with caution as this is a sealed book to anyone who does not know the truth but to all who have not believed lies it is give for their understanding should they continue to not dwell in a lie
  • Helen on Revelation 4 - 10 years ago
it is the greatest revelation of all, first that it is an honor to come before the greatest of all, there are no words enough to dEscribe Him, John could only say 'The ONE'. I am still trying to put some words together just to appreciate HIM, but it is too wonderful for me, and so like John i say to the ONE seated on the throne, glory honor, dominion, power , authority, wisdom be ascribed unto YOU forever and ever. aMEN
