God performed the 1st marriage on Adam and Eve. The two became ONE.

Eve was formed by Adams rib. Taken out of his side to be equal. Not from the head or feet: to be over or under the other.

Women's Lib was launched in the 60's. It has done more harm than good. It's 2020 and only now equal compensation for work...is being discussed. Millions of babies (future tax payers so you could draw social security) have been killed. The democrats have their eyes on it for their silly projects.

Society has made a mockery over something God meant to be a blessing: marriage between a man and a woman.

That is one reason Jesus will be returning very soon! All the signs are appearing. Matthew 24.

1 Timothy Chapter 4

Maureen, we can only share our thoughts as to why God does things in a certain way - unless of course, He clearly tells us. We understand that on account of His Holy & Wise Being, & out of love, to have those that would belong to Him & worship Him & for us to enjoy God & His creation, He created a man (after His Own Image): Genesis 1:26. I don't ever think that a woman was ever an after-thought of God. God, as an Omniscient (all-knowing) God, already had His Plans 'set in stone'. Creation of a woman I believe was already in that Plan - after all, companionship, procreation, identification, etc. were all necessary for both man & woman. I always see the Genesis account of creation as both man & woman created in complete equality & perfection & necessary for each other for a perfect representation of the Divine on Earth. Of course, we know the story of man & woman's failure to remain holy by sinning against their Creator.

However, in God's wisdom, the order of creation also depicts the proper of order of human life on Earth. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 11:3: "I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God." This is not in any way depicting an inferior position of a woman (or, indeed of Christ to the Father) but an ordered 'hierarchy' & for submission & resorting to each other. As Paul also said, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are ALL ONE in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28. And this clearly shows that women are equal in every way before God & in Christ, but for the sake of position & functions on Earth, the submission of woman to man AND the unequivocal love the man has for his wife: Colossians 3:18, 19, "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them." should remain our united & joyful objective in marriage.

Acts 10:34

Ron, (regarding Revelation 6:12) the angel told John not to seal the book for the time is at hand. The sixth seal has already been opened. Revelation 1:1 The Revelation (revealing) of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven (carnal minds) and cast them to the earth..... Ezekiel 5:2 Thou shall burn a third part (carnal minds) in the midst of the city......Zachariah 14:9 And I will bring a third part (carnal minds) through the fire, and will refine them (carnal minds) as silver is refine, and will try them (carnal minds) as gold is tried, they (spiritual minds; minds of Christ ; new heaven) shall call upon my name, and I will hear them; I will say, it is my people: and they shall say, the Lord is my God.

For your consideration:

The seven churches, seven seals and seven trumpets represent periods of time concerning the Christian church throughout history. Regarding the seven seals;

The first seal describes the spread of the gospel starting with the time of the apostles and the newly founded Christian church. Mentioned several times in the New Testament, during this time the gospel reached all of the then known world and it did so rapidly. A white horse would represent a pure gospel message.

The red horse (color of blood) of the second seal describes the consequences of rejecting the gospel beginning in the second century. As Christ is waging spiritual warfare through the preaching of the gospel, the forces of evil render strong resistance. Inevitably, persecution follows.

The scene of the third seal (black horse) points to the further consequences of rejecting the gospel, beginning in the fourth century, as the church gained political power. If the white horse represents the preaching of the gospel, the black horse denotes the absence of the gospel and the reliance on human traditions.

The fourth seal horse is pale. The rider's name is Death; meanwhile, Hades accompanies him. These two are allowed to destroy people by sword, hunger, death, and wild beasts over one fourth of the earth. This would correlate in time with the dark ages.

The scene of the fifth seal applies historically to the period leading up to, and following, the Reformation, during which millions were martyred because of their faithfulness.

The sixth seal predicted a 1. Great earthquake; 2. Events in the sun, moon and stars. The sun became black as sackcloth, the moon became like blood, and the stars fell to the earth as a fig tree drops its late figs. the Lisbon earthquake, in 1755; the dark day of May 19, 1780; and the spectacular meteor shower over the Atlantic Ocean, on November 13, 1833. The fulfillment of this prophecy, in Revelation 6:12-14 led to a series of revivals.

It is my opinion that the riders on the four horses of Revelation chapter 6 are angels or spirits that go out from standing before the Lord of all the earth, Zechariah chapter 6. Each rider has the power to orchestrate what happens on the earth according to God's will. It is my opinion the rider on the white horse will give power to a specific leader to wage war and conquer many nations. Is this the Antichrist? No one can really say without more scriptural evidence. The rider of the Red horse is given power to take peace from the earth. Men will kill one another. These two may indicate a world war. During and immediately after war comes famine. The black horse represents famine, starvation. A measure is the amount a man can eat in one day. A penny was translated from denarius which was a silver roman coin. When Jesus walked the earth, a denarius was a days wage. If you do the math, a family would have to choose between eating or paying their bills. A large family would starve either way. The rider on the pale horse is death. Notice it says they have power over a fourth of the earth to kill with sword, white and red horses, hunger, black horse, death, the pale horse, and with the beasts of the earth. There are four horses and four beast that that introduce them. The fifth seal shows under the alter the slain souls from the early church to 3 1/2 years of Great Tribulation. Somehow in the times that are happening around us, there will continue to be a way to love and encourage each other in our tribulations. When persecutions were taking place 450+ years ago, the brethren did not try to free the one being buried alive or torn asunder or burnt at the stake or have boiling oil poured upon their heads, instead they sang to them, they cheered them on in their patience and those that remained took upon them to take care of the affairs of the one's whose lives were being given up because of the faith.

Are we ready to suffer these present times and not lose our faith? Can we suffer in love for our neighbor, for the brethren? Are we being scattered?

Matthew 16:3 Jesus speaking:

And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can You Not Discern the signs of the times?

Comment: Maybe we think we are too modern to understand farm talk? We can quote the stock market, report the sports page, grumble over politics, corona virus statistics today, wondering if our school kids will be infected?

Without a healthy appetite for the Bible and it's Prophesy; we are CLUELESS about Signs of the Times we live in; NOW.

Our compassion for humanity is consumed upon our own concerns. The anger builds as we wonder why God doesn't ride in on a pure white horse and fix everything that is broken?

Does anyone remember what hourglasses look like? The sand barely moves in the beginning. In the 9th hour, still much sand nearer the bottom. At 11hrs30minutes the sand picks up speed! You watch the last grains fall through. Then someone reaches and turns it back over. Same process.

The signs in Matthew 24 appear in all kinds of newspapers: hurricanes, typhoons, floods, tornados, erupting volcanoes; a 5.6 earthquake in the New Madrid earthquake fault; merciless forest fires. Briefly, revelation 6:2 is a symbolic leader of Israel who had gotten a crown (the Palestine's Lands) and is set on conquering the Palestine people

Revelation 6:4 is a symbolic Palestine leader who is going to get a huge support from the East to make War in Israel

The requirement for salvation is to receive Christ and be born of His Spirit. That goes for both Jew and Gentile alike. Just because a person says "chosen" or "elect" does not mean they are saved. For a Jew or Hebrew person to be saved, they must receive Christ just like you and I. From the beginning, God chose a race of people, and it wasn't the Gentiles. Jesus came to His own (Jews), and they received Him not. Again, no salvation to those who did not receive Him. But there were many who did receive Him. He chose the twelve Jewish men. Were they all antichrist? I would say one of them was. It seems as though you have put a tag on every Jew as being antichrist, and that's not true.

You ask for someone to prove to you the antichrists are God's chosen from the Bible. There are several places in the Old Testament that talk about the chosen, but it would be a futile attempt at showing you if your mind is already made up that all Jews are antichrist or perhaps condemned forever.

Do you pray for those Jews who are lost the same way you would pray for any other lost individual? Do you have a love and concern for a Jew who has not come to know Christ as their Messiah? We were not the chosen. We were later grafted into the tree to provoke the Jews to jealousy. We have their Messiah and it was God's plan to bring us in so that they would be jealous. Do you ever wonder that when Christ came, if the Jews would have received Him, what the fate of the Gentiles might have been?

Instead of hating the Jews and constantly calling them antichrist, maybe out of love for them you might want to pray that their hearts would be receptive to the things of the Lord and that they might come to know Him the same way you and I have come to know Him!

When the whole house of Israel (all 12 tribes) left Egypt, the were lead by Moses, a Levite, not a Jew.

The lead house of Israel tribes (Ephraim, Manasseh--sons of Joseph) are the birthright people (land, wealth) per their Gen 48 blessing. The lands' ownership is effectively the house of Israel, not Judah.

Our current climate of sustained chaos gets upended at the coming 6th trumpet, when Babylon America falls, Israel invaded. It's time for Jacobs trouble, and not Judah's trouble. Isaiah 13, Isaiah 47, Joel 2:1-11 & Rev 18, and the abomination of desolation set in America is very perplexing.

How do you interpret the many verses that say Israel was God's chosen people? I'm sure you know the story about Israelites fleeing Egypt and settling in Canaan. Maybe you'd at least agree that they were God's chosen people at one point? What date do you think that ended? When the events of Jeremiah 3:8 happened? What if the divorce reference wasn't intended to mean that Israelites are no longer God's people but another explanation?
