I know this is not for me, but I agree with you completely. There are several places in the bible that mention the chosen, and the elect, and it is speaking of Jews. I know of at least 20 places that speak of Jews being God's chosen people, including the verses you listed.

Peter wrote his letters to the scattered Jews (the diaspora), and in 1 Peter 2:9, he says "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

These are all Jewish terms. Peter says you are a chosen generation. He's speaking to Jews. The word generation means race. The Jews are God's chosen race.

He says you are a royal priesthood. And that's not for Gentiles. That's for Jews. You are a holy nation. You are a peculiar people;

Now the peculiar people "might" apply to us. I know some pretty peculiar people that are not Jews! (He-he). But the word peculiar means people of a possession.

I agree fully that the Jews are God's chosen people. They are also called His elect. Gentiles are never called the elect or chosen.

The Israelites were not all Jews. The house of Israel were not Jews. The tribe of Dan were not Jews. The tribe of Joseph were not Jews. Only one tribe from the house of Judah is a Jew. Only the tribe of Judah were Jews.

Adam where does the Bible say that those in the modern day claiming to be Jews are indeed who they say they are?

2nd witness of Jesus in Revelation 3:9 "Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee." Jews are going to worship at the feet of Christians.

How can anyone tell me that those who have the wrath of God against them for rejecting the Son is the "chosen people"

King James Bible Jesus speaks to some of the Jews in John 10:23 - 29:And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then came the JEWS (THE JEWS) round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

Looks to me that those who hear the voice of Jesus are true sheep or the chosen people.

The Bible says the Israelites (Jews) were God's chosen people. Deuteronomy 14:2, Isaiah 44:1, Deuteronomy 7:6. Do you agree?

Jews are not the chosen people, the Bible never says that. We are all chosen. However, it is Israel who is the apple of God's eye, not todays vile partner in crime with America (Mystery Babylon). The real Israel, the real tribes are hidden and lost in generations. It is original Israel that is reformed at the 7th trumpet, and not to include 1,300 year old impostors. Isaiah 14:1 The Lord will again choose Israel, after the Ashkenazi Jews courted satan to ruins.

Yes, Jesus was a bloodline Jew of Seth, Semitic. Todays so called Ashkenazi "Jews" have no relation with the tribe of Judah. They are 8th century AD converts of Japheth (Gentiles). Gen 10:2-3 tells you that Ashkenazim was the grandson of Japheth, not Shem-Abraham, Issac & Jacob. Therefore the Ashkenazi Jew is European (between Black & Caspian seas) and Jewish by religion, not by genetics. The regular Jews amongst us are faultless, but not the small percentage of supplanters who sin greatly against God, the synagogue of satan.

I read and interpret these verses just fine and my comment stands. Jesus was a Jew. Matthew 7:1.

There is only one door and it is Jesus and any Jew who rejects Jesus is rejected of God.

Just cause someone claims to be a jew does not make it so and the middle east is full of them.

Jesus was a Jew. He's not 'cursed'.

Jews were God's chosen people and still are. I don't know why, but that's who God picked. That doesn't mean that Judaism is true. That belief denies Jesus, which is the central point of Christianity, to follow Christ. It's ok to condemn a false teaching, but not an entire people group.

It is difficult to forecast what this Corona pandemic will do. It can be equated to other turmoils that have affected & gripped the world in the past (e.g. the W. Wars, other worldwide diseases/plagues, the Great Depression, etc.). Eventually, it will pass as doctors understand this Covid-19 virus better & develop a vaccine, but the longer the pandemic goes on & the resulting deterioration to the economies of the world, then the longer it will take them to pull out of it and get back to normal. All this serves to show us how easily we can get badly affected by such an event & should cause us as Christians to cleave more to the Lord and others to consider his offer of hope & salvation.

The locusts eat the crops which cause famines. The covid-19 virus is one of the pestilence that kills people all around the world because people in China eat the beasts of the fields (rats and bats). We are in the last days and on the threshold of Christs return. These are exciting times for the saved and scary for the lost. 🙏🏻 Amen

I assume you are an american, if I am wrong forgive me but you cannot assume everything is about America.God has a plan that He will allow to run its course, when He needs to intervene He does and He will. We as Spirit filled believers need to stay the course as Paul said, be fervent in prayer redeeming the times, spread the gospel help save as many souls due to a rampant Satan who knows his time is short. Let us be faithful, the times are evil and we need to prepare, get ready while we have the time. I believe the coronavirus will be traced to the most inbred domesticated animal the dog. host -switching from animal to humans The dog is now being touted as a "family member" even as to " my child".
