8:12 We are not debtors to the flesh - We ought not to follow it.
Ro 8:12 Therefore. Seeing that we are to enjoy such glorious privileges in Christ. These are described in this section. We are debtors. Under obligation. Since the flesh, or carnal nature, is death, we are under no obligation to obey its dictates.
