I love verses 35-39 because it talks about how nothing can separate us from the Love of Christ, but in order to receive that love we must humbly submit to Him, in all areas of our life. It 's a continuous reminder to me that if I am a Christian, it should show in all the other areas of my life. Even if i am faced with death. We will have hard times but these verses bring us hope of the Glory to come.

  • Greg Ines on Romans 8 - 10 years ago
In 1990, at the sinful age of 22, I sought out "more than this life of sin and death ". My Uncle was dying of AIDS. He told me to seek out the Lord. I did. And one fall day in 1990, I gave my life to Christ. Then I suffered addictions, my Father 's suicide, a broken engagement to be married, and loss of my state of Florida job. And yet throughout all these setbacks, Jesus never left me nor gave up on me! Thanks be to God! I am now 46, and living a clean, sober and righteous lifestyle -thanks to God 's patience with me. A lowly sinner that took 20 years to get it right. But thanks to Romans Chapter 8, it all started on that Fall day in 1990. Sincerely, Greg Ines.

  • Lilian on Romans 8 - 10 years ago
God has annointed us as his children, therefore no one can touch his anointed one. We must not forget that we are the child of God. Even our hair are numbered he knows which hair has fallen from us, in Spirit those our failures in life but then Jesus has sent us and He knows what to provide and bring our fallen hair failure back to life and restore. Just believed God and love his commandments till rapture. He loves us always and he is faithful to his promises. God already sent Jesus to us to destroy the works of the defeated devil and gives us life an abundance. Just keep Praising God and Love him and be thankful to him everyday of our lives coz Jesus cant stop loving us.
  • Cynthia Pounsel on Romans 8:35 - 10 years ago
I feel like no matter what I 'm going through or dealing with as a child of God, I will not let nothing seperate me from the love of Christ.I know that the devil come to steal, kill, us from God love but he is a liar from hell and the truth is not in him. Because the bible tell us that nothing can seperate us from the love of Christ. And if God be for us, who can be against us? He will not let these things seperate us from his love. We are in his protection. Remember long as we are in this present world we will have trials and tribulations the devil are trying to do whatever he can to bring us down but we will not let these things seperate us and apostles paul name all of these thing out before and said that nothing shall seperate us from the love of Christ. You know what? it can 't seperate us. In all of these things We are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

I love this chapter in that it fortifies my very existence and tells me no matter what comes my way in this world, God 's Holy Spirit will guide me thru it making intercession where need be and strengthening me to stand against any and everything that might attempt to disrupt my status with the Heavenly Father thru Jesus Christ.

  • MockingBird on Romans 8:2 - 10 years ago
I was once in bondage to sin and death : But now in Christ Jesus I am in the Spirit of life. The law of the Spirit of life has made me free from the law of sin and death : I do not have to sin any longer. Praise God . When Idie , my body will return back to the dust from where I came : made by God : But the Spirit of life that has raised me from the dead will rise to be with the Lord forever. My living spirit in Jesus Christ will leave my body at the second of it 's death.

The power of God and the Power of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ surpasses all principalities! This is powerful and awesome. It encourages me to keep the faith, hope and patience in all my prayers... There is no God like our Living Almighty God that we serve. NOTHING shall separate me or my family From The LOVE OF GOD! My family and I have been through so much past Two years but have seen his same power mentioned in this chapter and others working for me...Keep the faith alive.
  • MockingBird on Romans 8:18 - 10 years ago
I believe the suffering God is saying here means the sufferings according to the will of God. When we are going through a thing or doing in the will of God and are suffering for it. Persecuted for it : then we have an expectation of the Glory of God to be revealed in us. Suffering is never pleasant !!! I would much rather be pleasing to the Lord God than to pleas man eternal reward there !!!! We have to work to keep ourselves. Praise God !!!!

  • Nathan on Romans 8 - 10 years ago
In reply to Nat 's comment about verse 9. The truth is, When a man sins, the Spirit of God Leaves him. However by repentance and confession of the sin to God, the Spirit can be imparted back upon him. Just because He sinned and stayed in sin does not mean he was never a Christian. The Walk of the Christian with God is a Growing process. Human nature is to sin, Men can never be pure and holy on their own, but by a working active faith in God with the works of obedience is how a person personal walk with God made stronger each day. By lack of Obedience and study is how our faith dies. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. James 2 26 So My brother, Though a person falls into sin, does not mean he was never a Christian. Men always fall into sin because we are never perfect. But through Christ, and by His strength He enables us to overcome sin. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10 13. I hope I was able to answer your question.
