יְוֺאָחָז יְהוֺאָחָז, proper name, masculine (׳י hath grasped; ᵐ5 Ἰωαχας, & Ἰωαχαζ; compare also אֲהַזְיָהוּ, & cuneiform Ia-u-—a-zi for Ahaz, see אָחָז, and compare further JägerBAS i. 467 f.) —
1 יְהוֺאָהָז king of Judah, son of Josiah 2 Kings 23:30-31, 34; 2 Chronicles 36:1, = יוֺאָהָז 36:2; 36:4 (apparently = יוֺהָנָן 1 Chronicles 3:15).
2 יְהוֺאָחָז king of Israel, son of Jehu 2 Kings 10:35; 13:1, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 22, 25 (twice in verse); 14:8; 14:17; 2 Chronicles 25:17, 25 = יוֺאָחָז 2 Kings 14:1.
3 יְהוֺאָחָז king of Judah, son of Jehoram of Judah 2 Chronicles 21:17; 25:23 = אֲחַזְיָהוּ (אֲחַזְיָה)
