מוֺקְדָה noun feminine hearth ( = place of burning), only of altar-hearth, the plate or top of altar, on which burnt-offering was laid and consumed, מ עַל הָעוֺלָה ׳הִוא הַמִּזְבֵּחַ עַל Leviticus 6:2 (followed by בּוֺ תּוּקַד הַמִּזְבֵּחַ וְאֵשׁ).
