I. [עָדַר‎] verb probably (si vera lectio) help (Aramaic loan-word, Syriac עֲדַר ᵑ7‎ (rare) = Hebrew עזר‎ q. v.; > Thes, assuming meaning arrange, order); —

Qal Infinitive cstr. לַעֲדֹר1 Chronicles 12:34 (Baer Ginsb; van d. H. v.12:33; this meaning also ᵑ9 ᵐ5‎); but < Manuscripts לַעֲוֺר‎ (compare v.12:18; v.12:22; v.12:23, van d. H. v.12:17; v.12:21; v.12:22), so Kau Buhl; Participle plural construct מַעֲרָכָה עֹדְרֵי‎ v.12:39 (van d. H. v.12:38), read עֹרְכֵי‎ (q. v. v.12:34) ᵐ5‎ Kau; see ערך‎.
